Digital scrapbooking is gaining in popularity. Some scrapbookers do both traditional paper, card and glue scrapping as well as digi-scrapping while others are totally digital. UKScrappers embraces all forms of scrapbooking and this new forum will offer information, links, and chat about digi-scrapping.
Building an interest in digi-scrapbooking and offering resources for it, as well as providing information for members of UKS who would like to dip a toe in the digital waters is our goal.
We welcome input from members on what you would like to see here. Feel free to email or PM me with ideas, suggestions, and links.

A step by step guide would be very helpful! I am out of my depth!
Hi. I joined this week and this is my first post! How exciting this forum is, I can't believe what a source of inspiration even the first hour of looking through it was. I keep coming back and having another look and have decided I'm totally addicted already!
I'm very keen on digital scrapbooking and the first thing I did, about a year ago was to download the free 14 day trial of Scrapbook Max. My first thought was how easy it is to get around and the pages are simple to construct, even for me! Needless to say I bought the whole package at the end of the trial and now I use it as a framework to building my own pages, I find it a bit daunting, downloading big programs just incase something nasty sneaks in along with them but I've never had any trouble, either from adware or the performance of my computer.
Lots more to say but I'd better stop! My husband who doesn't share my enthusiasm is due home any minute! Better spray some polish about so at least it smells as if I've been busy cleaning!!

Hi, just found your rely - still haven't got to grips with where I am!! Yes at the moment I only do digi. I used to do traditional but found it was a bit expensive and also being a bit messy, had a job to keep everything tidy lol. At least with digi it's all in one place. the scrapbook factory sounds very interesting. Thanks for the info and its good to chat.

Hiya I laughed out loud at your posts. I use serif digital scrapbook artist. You can get a free download from serif.com. There's always lots of freebies from daisytrail

Just browsing - usually looking at Craft Robo - on a wet day, supposed to be our summer down under Arrrgh. Had a look at DaisyTrail and I wondered if the serif thingy was an easier version/type of photoshop. Have been toying with the idea of getting photoshop but it just seems too complicated and probably more than I need. I do my digital scrapbooking using Memory Mixer from Lasting Impressions which I find really good but you can't 'manipulate' your photos, erase bits etc. Cheers Meezy

I liked the look of Serif - viewed their video. My question is can you make your pages in serif and use elements, papers from another source? Also can the pages completed in Serif be uploaded into another album for printing. I use Memory Mixer from Lasting Impressions who also print my albums. I am still new at digital scrapping and not up with all the technical terms etc. Thanks
