I really really fancy doing an Altered book and have up to yet resisted!!!!
But yesterday was given two old thick hardback books as an early birthday pressie from a work colleague as he knew I would love to have a play at altering a book :)
Can anyone recommend a good Altered Book bookie to give me some tips and techniques to try to get me started please?
Many thanks

Altered Books Workshop by Bev Brazleton... lots of pictures and easy to follow
Or get some back issues of Craft Stamper, there's a few altered books in there.

Thanks for that - it was actually an altered book in a back issue of a christmas Craft stamper that caught my eye and made me want to play.

Did I mention it is gorgeous??? Well done you - I am so inspired now to get going :D. I adore the stamps you used but am not sure a Christmassy themed one is quite right at the mo - I've mooched through my hundreds of stamps collection and have just acquired a large amount of B line stamps for a secret garden type project - I may actually use them for this first flight into the Altered Book :)

Netty, have you been a bad girl and gone and filled a basket at the book shop? Worse still, checked out? :nono::nono::nono:
Let me know if your finger is still just hovering and I can nip to the post office today with a little light reading just up your latest street. :ph34r:B)
