Crackle effect with PVA and acrylic paint???

you have to have a base of acrylic paint , let it dry, then put on the pva and then put another acrylic over the top.

has anyone tried this on a small object. I have had absolutley no success using crackle glaze medium and this looks great.

I can tell you we used mat emulsion over silk and had the same effect... it is to do with putting a mat on shiny. Maybe we don't need lots of special stuff!
