I would like to make a card where the centre of the card is left plain and the rest of the card is embossed, if this makes sense, I have square nesties and embossing folders and the tan matt. I want to make it so that I can stamp an image into the centre blank part of the card.
thanks

well I've finally fathomed it thanks to ikki, I adapted the MPF that she made I cut a square out of several pieces of card and glued together, so now I can stamp in the blank space.
Hi Angiebabe, very pleased you found your way to my blog and that it helped. But, if you want to leave a clear square in the middle of your card, I think you have it the wrong way round. If you use a square MFP instead of the B plate, the square will be embossed. You need a oblong the size of the folder with a square cut out of it to emboss the card and leave the centre blank. Or have I misunderstood?!?!?!? ikki

hi ikki, no you haven't misunderstood, I think I explained it wrong, lol, that's is what I did, I made a Mfp the size of the folder with the square cut out of the centre, thanks for the tips.

Check out Ikki's blog that I did the link for. All will be explained. However a bit of advice to anyone new to die cutting, you should get used to the feel of your machine before you start to experiment.

That's good advice Liz. The CB is not has strong as some of the other machines and you always have to take care not to force any embossing or die cutting through the roller. ikki
