Hi Everyone

I did try the search but couldn't find anything on this!

I have just bought a Xcut corner rounder punch with the intention of making scallops, but I can't work out how to remove the border guard.

Would anyone out there be able to let me know how it is done?

Thanks in advance

They pull out sideways I think.

They pull apart from the side... takes a bit of a pull and maybe a wiggle but they will come off... done with all of mine :)

Thanks for the replies guys! However I still can't shift it!

The pink bit does move a bit when I pull it but it seems to be attached by a big metal pin that runs through the whole punch?

Is there a specific way of doing it, or maybe a tutorial that anyone knows of?

Thanks

I thought there were only certain makes of corner rounder that it was possible to remove the guard from in order to do scallops etc. I know I have a CM corner rounder and it doesn't seem possible to remove it and in the shop the X-cut looks almost identical.
Would be more than happy if someone comes along and tells me how it can be done though!

You are right this brand of corner cutter doesn't come apart to cut scalloped edges.

I think the EK Success ones are the ones with removable guards.. sadly I have a boring one with out removable guards so will be hand cutting scallops!

Thanks everyone - I am pretty sure it doesn't come off - I have been yanking it about for the past hour and it isn't budging!

Will have to get a EK Success one methinks...... Anyone know where I can get one?

The EKsuccess ones come in the 3 sizes, small medium and large. I know Sarahs cards have the small and medium in stock, but other sponsors might have them if you ask in the market place (can you tell I'm been considering getting one too?)
