Hi I brought some cosmic shimmer powders with spray bottle ages ago because I have a that's gorgeous moment and the realised that I don't have a clue how to use them especially as a spray. Can anyone help? thanks:love:
I have just spent the night on you tube looking up glimmer mists and mica powders, I donot know if it is worth looking that up there.
Now that I think of it, it was a link from this website which took me there, I think it was under techniques, I just know I have spelt that word wrong but as my pills have kicked in it is amazing I can write anything...lol
Sorry I can not help but no doubt tomorrow you will have p[lenty answers. I have bought the stuff but forgot all about them until tonight so I will be watching this thread with interest.
Have a good day

None on you tube that I could find.

Is about the only one I could find but they are similar to perfect pearls, so might be worth looking them up.
If you still have the packaging it might be worth looking at the manufacturers website.

I just put a small spoonful in my spray bottle, with a little bit of water, and squirted! It's a bit like Glimmer mists.
Or stamp an image then dust dry powder on, several colours together. Lovely on dark card.
I also use them with utee, either mixed in clear or dusted on black for shimmery effects. I love them!

Apparently they work best when the water used with them is warm rather than cold - gives much more of a shimmer - I have to admit since being told that I have tried it and it definitely seems to do the trick!
I used the cosmic shimmer CS sprays. Lovely colour and the shimmmer is gorgious. The first one I used leaked after i used it when shaking the ink to disperse the mica. I had some tiny ink sprays from timholtz like a tiny tubes and filled these with the CS and as I found it better to build up the colour and mica I watered them a little. These tiny tube sprays are brilliant NO MESS when shaking.

Saw these being used on tv last night and after the powder was dusted on dry you sprayed on a little water to set/seal it. Looked lovely!
Hi fifcat I wonder if that was Sheena Douglas she is one of my fave stamps designers

i use them to spray over masks and templates to make a gorgeous shimmery background and they definately work better with warm water to mix them with first

I sat down to watch her tonight, and was really looking forward as she had some new stamps too but I was a bit poorly with a migraine and fell asleep - I only saw a bit... I am seriously pissed off! I can't record the shows as I can only watch on my PC - even though my husband has Sky - which he won't share...

dozyrosz go onto create and craft website and look at the vidio times on there as they repeat the shows that have been on tv. It is a slightly seperate show to whats on the tv as they do demos on there as well
