I haven't used the velvet flock, but for glitter I often run things through the xyron sticker maker - it gives a really even finish.

I use Judkins sticky embossing powder for stamped images that I want to flock, it took me a while to work out how to use it but now I love it :)

I find the sticky sheets are great for flock and glitter - and then I always give it a spray of cheapo value hairspray to help 'set' it.

THe trick is to use a 'dry' adhesive like DST, and then totally cover it, press the flock into it really really firmly, and then I run my finger round in a circle over the top after pressing it down. Works like a charm, and doesn't rub off when you've finished!!

Thanks again guy's tried the adhesive sheets and it ended up really patchy. So must be doing something wrong. Going to try a couple of the other options.

Make sure your covering it all with loads, and then pressing really hard into it. I also leave it for a minute or so to make sure its stuck.
it took me ages to get it, but yesterday I made a lovely frame with double sided tape - so it is crackable!
Another option to try is acrylic paint {Thanks Julia!!} use the same colour as the flock, wait for it to dry and it does do brilliant cover!
