It's done with one of the Leone Em Ash leaf punches. It's very delicate, so not for use with card, just good weight card.

It's absolutely fantastic service isn't it. I ordered mine at 10 to 5 last week and they were here the following morning. They came with the letter post so it's not as if they had a courier picking them up!

Ive just got to say I ordered some stamps from Sir Stampalot yesterday about 4pm and they arrived today ! Not sure how but that super efficient service !

They are super super quick! I ordered some on Wednesday lunchtime and they arrived on Thursday despite of the poor weather! Their shop is right next time the main royal mail sorting office in Peterborough though!

Hello. I've taken my first plunge with Tilda so I thought I pop on and share as it was looking through the cards that you guys have made that encouraged me to have a go! Hope I've done you proud :lol:

I've used Inktense pencils to colour her clothes and hair and Whisper pens for her flesh. You don't want to know how many Tilda heads I have decorating my desk now... I know she's not perfect, but I'm quite chuffed with her.

For those who haven't already noticed, the St Patricks Day and Easter collections are now available on Magnolia's web site. I ordered from there last month and was impressed at the cost and speed of delivery

Ladies, I find that choosing papers from the same range is the best way to start...then colour your image to match. With the embellishments I just get my box of flowers out and match them to the papers...and I do the same with ribbon,......then I look around my crafting area for matching brads, pins.....whatever my favourite thing to use is....at that moment....LOL

Also if you are mixing up the papers, just get all your pinks, reds...whatever colour you are hankering to use...and lay them next to each other and pick the ones you think match each other. It takes practice, but the best way is to pick and then colour the image.....I used to do it the other way...and it is a pain in the behind.

I always love looking at everyones cards, and trust me last January when I got back into card making I was just like you all...thinking everyone else made better cards than me....All I can say is please post them, as they are all fabulous as you have put a little of yourself into every card that you have made. Mine were not as they are now....when I look back on my old cards, I am amazed at how much I have improved through looking at everyone elses cards....like most things in life...we get better with experience and practice.

A good friend gave me a great tip.....and I really can see the difference...so here is the tip...
When you are layering patterned papers...back them with a co-ordinating cardstock...it does help and also adds strength. Also raise some of the layers onto 3D foam....the dimension really takes them to the next level.

I had a fab time....and you are never going to believe what happened...
I went to the Magnolia stand...no surprise there...LOL While there we asked whether they had the individual spring club kit stamps and they didn't. I then explained to John how I had been unable to order them from the website, and how I had tried for three weeks...well after chatting with his wife they offered to let me pay for the set there at the show, and they phoned the Magnolia warehouse in Sweden and had them send me a set out today....now how cool is that.

They also had some show exclusive mini stamps....and a third of the size of the originals....I will try to post some pics on my blog tomorrow.

I finally got round to having a look on their website and notice mention of a new spring collection. Sounds like it's going out to people in their stamp club. Out of interest how long do they normally then take to filter to sponsors? I particularly like the one with the butterfly wings!

Magnolia usually added them a week or so after the final batch of club kits have gone out. They usually appear with sponsors shortly after that. With Magnolia you can never predict how quickly that will be.

I order directly from their site now, as they come fairly fast to Greece and the postage is good as well ... It is worth calling them. I had the same problem with the winter kit...and it was my fault as I entered either the exp date or cv code incorrectly. They were helpful and it was sorted quite quickly.
