I've sat up late working, so was very much cheered up by a bag of Haribo starmix. I won't eat now (tooth brushing and the like), but this is an excellent start! In fact, I would have been delighted by 24 bags of starmix, but the others in the box aren't the same shape, and my bottom size and teeth will probably be grateful.

oooh its the 1st and its sooooooo exciting!

i've attached a piccy of all my lovely pressies in their wrapped up glory, and the gorgeous snowman box they came in.

there was an extra(?) pressie of some embroidery silks - just what i needed for the other crafts and mixed media work i do. its going to come in handy for some christmas decorations i need to make! even the lovely scrap of blue fabric they were tied up in will come in handy! such a thoughtful santa :wub:

and my number 1 pressie was a pack of gorgeous pink ribbons! fab colours and designs - just what i would have chosen for myself!

You should do what I do - I made up an advent bag for dd with a little gift for each day - and it has the added advantage of controlling how much chocolate she is getting!!
She is 11 - she loved it last year, so have done it again this year, she was really excited this morning!!

I got a squishy present which turned out to be a pair of dark purpley/plum coloured gloves :)
Thanks Santa :) I have decided that these gloves are going to live in the car for the 101 times that I manage to forget to pick up a pair before I leave the house - so I imagine they will get a lot of use this winter!!

Think I'll have to treat myself to the papers! I'll remember your mince pie and a carrot for Rudolph. I must remember to warn Hazel too, so she doesn't wonder who's coming down the chimney! She is very friendy though, so would just give you a good licking, not bite you:lol:

A beautiful handmade book - I think it is a star book, but having only seen them in the books/tv etc, and not in the flesh before I'm not 100% sure, but I love it!:D
