Too much gadding around the last 2 weekends with Scrapaganza and the Scrapaholix Roadshow in Southampton on Saturday.

Any of you care to tell me why the crap on the floor is invisible to DH & DD? I walked in on Saturday night and the stairs and landing were an assault course to be tackled to reach the bed...... :angry:

Quackas--Cal was right--i'm doing 2 advent swap, one on here and another on another forum--but that one is slightly different--the whole budget was £5, so everyone was using small bits from their own stash for the 24 pressies, then buying the 25th with the budget :D not as easy as you might think :D:D but all done now:D

just have to find a box big enough for my UKS one, then i'll be ready to post! Gonna go box hunting after a trip to the dentist in a bit :(

i HATE the dentist with a passion :( even more cos I have to re-register, cos it was 2 yrs since i last went--so £50 fee on top of the treatment i had last week for my abscess, and now today i have to pay £25 for a 'new patient' check-up :angry:
I could register with the NHS one down the road-but when i called them in pain last monday asking to see someone-they told me ' come in this afternoon and fill in the forms, then we'll get your appointment-3rd week in Dec :o :o )

OMG..... I had to do similar.... Had to register with the wee one.... and was £40 for them to see her.... only to be told they cant treat her coz of her arthritis..... :o but we are still registered there and will be seen after her jaw replacement..... hope they dont hit me with a huge charge as she wont be seen for 2 years at least !!!!

BUT your dentist is soooooo expensive..... OMG

Sounds cheap to me for a dentist. Our check-ups are £50 minimum and if you need any work done then it is hundreds at least.

GP isn't much better at least £30 each time but at least the prescriptions are free.

well, i need to sit down!!!!! have been given a 'estimate' for work i need doing--including 2 crowns, and now i'm expected to find over £1600!!!!!!!! I work 12 hours a week-so no chance :o:o

Can you please tell me what days you will be in this week. Mrs Claus has been nagging me to get this goody box to you as she keeps tripping over it, and is worried the reindeer might try to nibble it if its left much longer.

I am still watching you and see you have been very quiet..... so you are either being a very good girl and are keeping busy, or you are up to alot of mischief and hiding .....

Hope you reply soon so that my reindeer can plan their rather hectic diary for the week.

Yes - and dd has been costing me a fortune recently:(. Not as bad as the US though - when we were on holiday I had to go to the hospital - 2 visits total time about 2 1/2 hours and the bill was $6000 - thank goodness for travel insurance although it is taking ages to sort out.

Leigh - I hadn't realised dentists had got that expensive in the UK.

The reindeers started their journey today and should be with you shortly - hopefully by Wednesday, as long as the wind isn't against them as it is very windy here at the minute. You may open the box when it arrives just to make sure the contents have made the journey safely but don't go spoiling the surprises will you:lol:

DHElf are collecting your parcel tomorrow morning.... Mrs Clause said she will be happy to get her hall back and not having to stop the reindeer nibbling the packages....:lol:

There is a little parcel as you open the box that isnt wrapped, it is to be loved by you when you open your box :D..... inside the little bag is a little friend for you to take care off and to take care of you. He decided to come and live with you as its just too cold for him here in the North Pole....

DHElf will deliver your parcel on Friday between 9 and 5 pm.... so make sure you stay in and listen out for his little bells on his shoes....

A rather naughty elf helped me wrap and tag your parcel.... please forgive some of the oddities in the big box ....:rolleyes:

Also DO NOT :nono:squish, shake or squeeeeeeeeeeeze your Christmas day parcel, its very important that it remains in one bit....its very fragile as its full of love and we all know how easy it is to break a heart full of love.

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee My two parcels are here!!! :)

The postie came this morning whilst I was out collecting DH from hospital but luckily my postie is a friend (We both worked together years ago in a different life! :rolleyes:) and so as I wasn't in he delivered the parcels to my Mum who lives nearby and got her to sign for them. He's a star!

I have opened the boxes and am desperate to have a shake and a rattle but Santa said I mustn't so I'm really trying to resist. I have opened the extra gift that Santa said I could open early though and found a yummy chocolate advent calendar which will ensure my chocolate fix throughout December. :) There are also gifts for the children which I'm sure they will love when they get home from school.

I'll photograph everything later and upload.

My gorgeous parcel has just this minute arrived, all pink, purple and silver tissue wrapped presents, thank you very much santa, roll on the 1st.

My grand daughter helped me open the box for checking purposes only and the look on her face was a picture, she looked nearly as excited as me, but she did get a teddy i sent off for her, delivered today so she didn't feel left out.

Now managed to photograph mine. They look very sophisticated in black wrapping with gold tags. :) And each tag has a clue to the contents too.
