I have spent all day wrapping my pressies up ! Only 4 more to get. I have bought mainly stash, do you think that would be ok? The wrapping was a huge process - maybe I shouldn't have been as ambitious and die cut all my tages to go on the pressies !

I have just spent a pleasent evening making something very special, cannot say anymore than that but i love it.
Took me ages to wrap the presents up and had to scrounge a box big enough from a shop in town today.

The birthday fairy tells me that it is katy's birthday soon, in fact she said it was the
16th december, is she right by any chance.

Just thought i would let you know that i have been cracking the whip with these cheeky elves and they have nearly got your parcel ready to go, they have too many hot chocolate breaks for my liking. Anyway must go, i need to have a hot chocolate myself now, its hard work keeping on top of everything here at such a busy period.

My ex-wife, Mary.

She had started taking flying lessons about the time our divorce started (1989) and she got her license shortly before our divorce was finalised later that same year.

Yesterday afternoon, she narrowly escaped injury when the aircraft she
was piloting was forced to make an emergency landing, in a garden in
Aberdeen, because of bad weather, and crashed.

The absence of a post-crash fire was most likely due to her having
insufficient fuel on board.

Fortunately, no one on the ground was injured.

The photograph above was taken at the scene and shows the extent of
damage to her aircraft.

Even though we are divorced I am so pleased for her, she was very, very
lucky.

We're hoping to go to EuroDisney in July. Poor DS1 was supposed to go to France on a school trip but there weren't enough places so we thought we would go to EuroDisney instead. DD is so excited!

I have news of your presents. As i speak they are on their way to you via parcelforce as the reindeer are on strike because of the credit crunch and the higher price of feed. They are hopeful of a compromise and will resume normal service in time for christmas.
Just had news that your parcel should be with you on thursday and you have to sign for it also.
I have also just been told that you are allowed to open the parcel and you will find a card and present from the birthday fairy for your daughter, Katy and a christmas present from me.

Not sure Special Delivery is required, depends on level of insurance to cover goods enclosed, £36 is max without going to Special Delivery which gives £500 cover, other than that it's ParcelForce 24 or 48 which are also tracked and give £150 cover.

I would check with both courier and Royal mail ... see which is the cheaper option. If you go for courier, you will know whether its received or not by the tracking number ... and if you go for Royal Mail then go for either the Recorded Delivery or Special ... although I think special costs a fortune now ...

Compare prices .... be sensible- so long as you get a receipt thats what matters.

The reindeer are scheduling a stop at your house tomorrow (or Friday) - they should be dropping off a parcel for your autograph.

Please ensure the westies are safely tucked inside, as we wouldn't want to scare them or indeed have them scare the reindeer (some of them are highly strung :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:)

I apologise in advance for any droppings that may be left (Mrs Santa makes sure they have a good breakfast before they leave the North Pole:)) but I'm sure you could use them in the garden in your garden.

You may open the box and look - but of course not touch/prod/shake/rattle etc :) until 1st December - ENJOY!!!

I am going to buy a new christmas tree today, i threw my old one away last year, was getting a bit ropey. I was going to get a small one but i have seen a gorgeous 6ft one so i'm getting that one. Decorations are going to be traditional colours and lots of homemade ones including them sour containers with chocs in.
Really getting in the festive spirit now, just need to find time between housework, work and having my grandkids to finish the parcel and get it to the post office.

No that doesn't sound like a very convenient shop to visit but closer than any of the sponsor shops are to me in the north pole:lol: I was hoping there may be one closer so I could enlist their help in order to save the reindeer from carrying such a heavy load.:lol:

Ohh ok, anyway i quite like that shop but dont get down that way often, only when i visit my family who live that way, i do detours too but with oh, lol.
I have to do my scrapshopping online as there are no shops near where i live apart from cc, which i only go in when i am buying my grand dd bits for her sticking days with me. She has spent all day making 30 cards for her family and friends at playschool but got fed up when it came to writing in them so i got stuck with that, tbh i needed the break from all the swaps wrapping as it gives me a headache thinking its not enough, must buy more, etc. thank god for grandchildren, eh.

My oh works in your part of the country so he sent your parcel for me, which is why the reindeer didnt have to do it, i have my own personal reindeer to do tasks like this as i don't want anyone knowing exactually where i stay when i am not in the north pole or i get harrassed 24/7, you know how it is when you are as popular as me.

You could just put your house number and postcode on the parcel.

I have been laughing all day at this....

Katie was taking in some christmas sizzix die cut shapes to give to her teacher as ideas for making xmas cards so she cut out some santas, gingerbreadmen, angels..... and a turkey and a chicken.

Wow what a rush of wind the Reindeers produce when they fly past! And they dropped off a wonderful parcel from Santa. It arrived safe and well and I enjoyed opening it and having a little feel and shake - I have always been a big kid when it comes to Christmas!

hubby and I made a good production line last night :lol: i had a row of 'gadgets' so my tags are now all done---bigshot, cricut and the xyron too :lol:
now we will doing the same for wrapping tonight (ran out of time last night!!)
