Jo...you can balance your Christmas Day pressies out by building up to it iykwim...say you're buying a paper range with all the embellishments and cardstock, keep a few aside for Christmas Day and have some of the embellishments leading up to it...does that make sense, then on Christmas Day they have a complete range HTH.

I make a list of what I'm giving on what days and then wrap accordingly so when they unwrap their pressies I know what they're getting, then I can smile to myself...I use little tags and just write the number on

Thank you for answering my previous questions, just a few more if you would be good enough

1. Is there any particular Fancy Pants or Crate papers that you are after?

There are three that I really fancy the look of if I am not too late Santa and please dont put me on the naughty list the three are......

celebrate, daydreams and simplicity but would be happy with any of them I just love them - the bright fresh colours are fab

2. Would you like a scrappy Present for Christmas Day? Oh most definitely Yes Yes Yes PLEASE!!!

3. Santa was slightly confused, do you like Euphoria from BG but not keen on the new releases? SOrry for confusing Santa - YES I love Euphoria and Two Scoops - I have a lot of Basic Grey apart from some of the very latest ones - have got right from the old stuff to Scarlets Letter and Boxer and Archaic - have got a lot but no Euphoria or Two Scoops

4. Is there anything you have really wanted for a while? Actually there is - I really fancy trying one of those Acrylic Albums - bit scared of them but quite fancy having a go

Evening all,

Busy day at the NEC yesterday and treated myself to loads...oops good job I've got everything for my swappee :)

I'm all shopped out now and hopefully will wrap this week and take to the Post Office :)

Just got to cut out my gift tags, number them all and decide on the order which I roughly know and do a copy for me so I know what they are waking up to...gosh I really, really hope I've got it right but I'm so excited to know what they think :)

Don't fret Lynne as long as there are presents you've done it right ;)

You can either number your presents or add a little clue to the tag and its entirely up to you how you wrap them, number them etc no hard and fast rules :)

Oh wow Oh wow!!!!!! My parcel from the postie is obviously something else cos a very nice DHL man just delivered my Advent Swap. I had a parcel to open right away and it is a fab little advent calender.

Well its been an awful week here - DD's dad passed away suddenly last Thursday and been trying to help her through that and come to terms with my own strange and mixed emotions :( Still waiting for date of arrangements etc so poor DD is in limbo at the moment :(

Sorry to have not got here yesterday , had an absolutely manic day and was out in the evening but my parcel has arrived from Santa - yay thank you so much ..... Didnt have a chance to touch it until just before bed last night , ripped the lovely wrapping open just to check it was my advent swap goodies , hey it wouldnt be anything else would it in christmas paper eh ..... ?!!?!? Santas here to put your mind at rest ..... me and Mrs Claus are so sorry youve been worrying , we would never ever let you down , especially as you have been so good lately , well until today when you have been prodding that poor cat of yours ..... dearie me ....!

We had been waiting for a package to arrive from across the sea that had part of your pressie in for the 25th , the BIG DAY (and a very very very busy one for me) , sadly the overseas elves in conjunction with those people that drive the red vans have not done their best to help us on this occasion , good news is though that Mrs Claus already had one of this said item herself , unused, and had ordered yours because she thought you might like one too , so she gave that one to the elves today to wrap up and enclose in your package , there are two presents for the 25th .

We have had to entrust your package to the 'ladies and lads in red vans' who have assured me that it will be delivered tomorrow via Special Delivery, we would really have loved to deliver in person but Im sure you understand how very busy it is up here at the North Pole.

Once again, so sorry that youve been sad and worried , the delay was not intentional and we really really hope that you like whats been chosen for you !

hehe I am not that bad anymore thankfully, at first I bought everything I saw and watched being demo'd but I have learnt what I need now and also know what I like, I keep saying I must have a clear out as I have so much that I don't want or need and a limited space to store them so it would be to my benefit to do it.

I am lucky having this outlet near me, they have a chain of shops across the county and their warehouse is just 5 minutes from me. It's huge and we have our fortnightly crop there too, we get 20% at the till (I shan't mention any names cos of the sponsors etc) but I lub it :lol:

Need to ask everyone a favour - DD's dad passed away last week and its the funeral on Wednesday - she is coming home Monday til Friday and obviously things are going to be a bit fraught - I will be opening my pressies on the appropriate days, but need to be a bit tactful and not get too carried away with the excitement of it all in the circumstances - and I will make sure I let you all know what I get but I hope you will understand that I might not be able to make a big deal of it, or the group openings until the week after :)

The proper tree goes up early this year cos we are having A CHRISTMAS EVENING 'DO' on 13th so Zac my DGS aged 4 :unsure: and I will decorate on the Wed pm before and I will redo this tree in the evening when he goes home LOL:P The rest of my Advent pressies can then go under the tree from 13 - 25 :):):)

As you can see I am getting soooo excited and Bah Humbug (bless him :love::love:) more miserble <_<

off to watch Come Dancing and then cook some lovely SW food for me. DH ate earlier tonight

Oh how exciting Lynne :) I was trying to think yesterday what to do with my advent pressies but I think they will have to stay in the box until DD has gone back at the end of the week - I will just take out the appropriate one every morning. I will think of something more appropriate for next week - although it wont involve putting the tree up early :lol::lol::lol:

As for me opening mine in bed ..... you obviously havent spotted what time I am up and about :lol: OH has enough issues with me getting up at 4am-ish without me sitting in bed opening pressies :lol: I would have a Grumpy Elf too :lol:

Of course but not been there yet but have done our Christmas letter to send round the world to tell them there will be no cards sent abroad this year due to PO costs and email being 'free and also ecards :( sad but the cost would have been in excess of £30!!! just for cards and no letters added to the weight
