Thank you for the extra info you have added to the polls....very interesting and very helpful. I'll be back to ask you some questions later, so keep a look out for me.
If you find any cards or LO's to add to your gallery, that would be nice.

ooooh hello Santa - thanks for messaging me so quickly...
"Beads" - I love them - all shapes sizes, materials and colours (the more unusual the better!) - I must confess I am pretty bad at using them (I just love to stroke lol) but I am now hosting a fabric CJ so they could come in handy!
"Stazon ink pads" - I keep looking (and drooling) at the new range of bright colours - I did have some remover but haven't a clue where it went ...I'm very naughty and rarely clean my stamps!! (I figure that it if it is ok for Sir Tim then it is ok for me lol)
" bath bombs, are there any scents to should steer clear of, and do you mind if they leave glitter or other bits in your bath?" - I'm not keen on pine/euclyptus type smells but am happy for glitter and bits - I'm big kid and love silly and decadent things
Yep I drink alcohol, tea and hot choc - prefer milk choc rather than the more bitter stuff, all alcohol is good except gin which I hate (tastes like used washing up water to me lol)? I love liqueurs and red wine
OOOh poor elves! I'm sure I will love the pressies you send ....don't know if I said but I really like "altered type stuff" - weird stuff and anything for my fabric CJ would be very gratefully received
It's so so sooooooooo exciting - *rubs hands with glee* - thanks in advance Santa

Oh my Santa , you have been busy tonight !
Lets hope you can now get your hands on your ATG gun soon Caz ! I dont really know a great deal about DHL in general , have been an @ Home courier for over year but only been to the depot about 3 times as they drop my deliveries off to me , but my DH is in the transport industry , worked for many years in Southampton for another carrier , and apparently the DHL depot covering your area sadly havnt got a good reputation..... sounds like picking up from the post office is much much more convenient anyway !
Gwyneth - thats a great wish list of yours !

Santa,
I've got my chalk inks infront of me ... so here's what I have!
Alabaster, warm red, bisque, creamy brown, olive pastel, azurite, dark peony, lavender, warm violet, chestnut roan, yellow citrus, maroon, lipstick red, ice blue, lime pastel, charcoal, orchid pastel, blue lagoon, burnt sienna, warm green.
... a fair few of the range ... hmm I only have a colorbox paintbox of metallic inks ... and my quicksilver have gone all funny so a replacement of that in a cats eye would be great!

Hello Santa. Thank you for thinking about me .. and so soon too!!
Most of the fabric cjs are 6x6 or less so small pieces of plainish .. the mottled, moody kind of washy .. fabrics are always welcome. Any beads or charms or jewellery type stones/gems that can be either sewn or glued on are great. Threads of all sorts .. stranded cottons, metallics, coton a broider, the twinkly knitting yarn works too.
Oh, and lots of the stamping inks/chalks work on fabric too, especially as they won't be washed!!
Fibres for the mini books are always useful ... better yet are 12x12 double sided papers - any kind but moody, swirly, grungy work best for me - as they can be made into all sorts of goodies!!
Hope that helps.
Gosh, I'm all excited now.
Off to do some stalking of my own.

Wine; red or white.
Tea, Coffee or Hot chocolate, do you drink from a china cup or a mug?
No candles?!? The new christmas one is delightful, are you sure?
I notice you like naked chipboard, is that shaped, alpha's or sheets?
Do you like stickles and or glitter?
Would you prefer all scrapping or a few non scrapping goodies. Are there any body products you specifically like?
That's enough questions for now, but I'm sure Santa will have more in the next week even though she's already been shopping for some things. ((((()))))'s

Just moving this to the new thread to make sure you see it.
Santa has some questions for you.
If you could pick the top ten things you would love to get in your advent parcel what would they be?
If you could pick the top 10 things you would least like to get what would they be?
I've been doing some spying and know you don't have a cutting maching. Do you like alphabets cut out on machines? Is there anything else you would like that a machine could cut out. - e.g scalloped squares, scrolls etc
Do you make mini books, use note books etc?
Is there any type of jewellry, hair accessories you like?
What size shoes do you take?
What sort of glues do you use - do you like glue sticks, glue pens?
Do you like charms?
I see you like Basic Grey - what is your favourite and would you prefer christmas or non christmas papers.
Would you like Christmas themed scrapping stuff, a mixture, or non Christmas
What sort of Christmas decorations do you like - traditional red and green, modern colours, traditional balls, bells sort of thingies or "funny" jokey decorations
Do you like glitter.
Do you do cross stitch.
That'll do for now I think but I might be back pestering you again later.

This is Santa looking for Natoni.* Have you been a good girl this year?
I want to make sure all your surprises are good ones - so, could you flick through the following questions and let me know what you think?
I know you prefer bright colours - any particular favourites, or ones that you could use more stash in?
Inks - which inks do you prefer? And what colours do you need?
Do you use stamps at all?
Do you like alpha's?
I know that you like to scrap your family - boys, girls or both??
Are there any colours you would NOT like to receive?
Would you like a mix of Christmas and non-Christmas? Or just one or 'tother?
What five things would you REALLY like to receive? And what five things would you 'return to sender'?
So many questions - I'll let you get through that little lot first ...

How are you Santa anyway, It's been so loooong since we spoke last, did you manage to find your big sack? I do worry as how can you deliver all of the wonderful presents to the boys and girls without it. Hope you've been giving Rudolph his medicine you know how he gets this time of year, we don't want his nose to be too red and sore this year! Well I must get back to work! I've just spent the morning making 36 halloween cupcakes for DH to take to work. I'm now stained with black and red food colouring. I don't think I get this mucky when I'm playing with my distress inks!

that wil teach me not to read the full thread first.
Would you prefer a made/finished book/item or perhaps a kit to make up yourself?
I like seeing what other people have made and find it inspiring, I am a bit lost at the moment with my own scrapbooking so any sort of inspiration for me would be great from any of those three, although i wil say I have an attraction thing to notebooks and so have many i dont tend to use.
How old is your God-daughter?
umm five and 18 months i think, Erica and Lydia,.
What kind of jewellery do you make? We wear lapel pins here .. bracelets and necklaces tend to catch in the reindeer's harness - makes them very tetchy!! Is it all beaded or do you use other materials?
I tend to make lots of earring and necklaces, I dont like the smaller seed bead type items and am more of a big bead, espeically loving the lampwork type ones. I have a Chrysalis braclet, a bit like the troll beads and like the beads like that in the indian glass. Most of my items of jewllery for me tends to be pink or aqua. Also loving the charm braclets at the mo. So my style I would say is chains and big beads.
thanks for popping by santa i will now add more info to the comments section of the polls for you also.

Santa has found your profile information and your poll entries very useful but I do have a few questions for you Tracy,
Please could you confirm whether you use 6x6 or 8x8 as well as 12x12 - or do you use all 3?
You have mentioned several colours that are your favourites, but are there any colours you dont like or dont use?
I see you like chalk inks, paint dabber & stickles - can you let Santa know which colours you already have please?
Santa would also like to know whether you have any children and if so what age group they are....
Are there any types of embellishments that you would NOT like to find in your christmas box?
My elves have also reminded me that some ladies would be pleased to receive packs of things that were split over a few days...but they couldn't remember if you were one of those ladies, could you remind me please.
I think that's about all I need to know at the moment, but if keep an eye out for my messages over the next few weeks in case I need to ask you anything else.
Bye for now, and remember to be good ;) Santa's watching!!

Good evening Santa - as promised now answering your questions! Maybe not in the order they were asked tho'
I do like alpha's - tend to use naked chipboard (well, they
're naked to begin with!), or funky rub-ons - nothing too type face. However, I have used die cut letters - again funky ones.
You asked about jewellery - I have a 'uniform' of ring, watch and necklace that I wear everyday, but do love washed felt and glass.
I have size six feet - both of them left!
Glues - I tend to use a variety of double sided tapes, a glue roller and Zig 2 way glue, but am happy to try other sorts too.
I do like Basic Grey - my favourites at the moment are Skate Shoppe (especially Dill), Archaic, Lollipop Shoppe, Phresh & Phunky, Stella Ruby and Blitzen. I also love pirate papers.
With regard to Christmas or non-Christmas - I have a lot of Christmas already as am stockpiling for Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas - but more than happy to have a mix!
And Christmas decs - we have a lovely mix of old old old, new new new and funky stuff! As long as its not pink its usually a hit!
Sorry Santa, I'm not really a glittery girl, or a pink girl. I used to do cross stitch - but now just use my threads when sewing felt (and have boxes of threads).
If it helps - I like plain stuff that I can personalise or stuff that I can personalise with, like naked chipboard, cats eye chalks, coloured buttons, embossing powders etc etc
I love cats - haven't ever really scrapped mine yet - but should maybe make a start!
My best 10 things to find would include: coloured buttons, naked chipboard, plain coloured ribbons, journalling pen, bazzill style edges, funky embossing powder, a nice pencil, alpha rub ons ....
Ten things I would not like to see include anything pink, frilly and cutesy, themed buttons, stickers (unless dinosaur / pirate / monster) and anything flowery! There appears to be a trend appearing!
To be honest - I could do with livening up, I tend to use buttons, felt, stitching and plain card in all my layouts. I think I need my mojo shaking up - so feel free to disregard all my suggestions and send things to challenge me!
So Santa, hope this hasn't confused you too much - good luck!!!
i am so looking forward to this now:)
and Santa i have been very very good today (all all the other days this year!)

Candles are fine so long as they dont smell of cinimon lol. I drink out of whatever someone puts a drink in !! but to be honest prefer a china cup. Body products , i dont like anything greasy.

I seem to have forgotten that KatieM has gone away for a few days. Those elves are making my life very hard at the moment, not passing such important information on to me, I can see them getting coal in their stockings this year, ho ho ho.
Time to do a bit more snooping before i get the reindeer bedded down for the night.
Be good everyone, you never know who is watching you:)

Ooh how exciting, I feel like a child again! I'm trying to be good Santa, honest :)
I'll try & answer your questions now before I go to bed...
is DS allowed any treats in your box, and is there anything he really does or does not like...sweets and or stash related...?
Yes, I'm sure DS would be thrilled if there was a little something in my box just for him  Sweets wise he likes most things, especially chocolate, but doesn't like caramel or chewy centres - one of his favourites at the moment is a chocolate orange. Stash wise he loves stickers of any type and is always making things out of paper and (lots of) selotape!!
if you were to wear a nighty (and I know you dont!!!!!) roughly what size would it be...?
It would be somewhere between a 14 & 16.
do you like altering things?
I do like to try & I wish I was better at it  I like the "thing" to have a purpose afterwards such as a container for something, I have done a few pen tins & couple of lunchtins, that kind of thing... I do the occasional canvas but not really sure that is altering as such...
do you have a favorite brand for scrap stash?
Not really, although I do love the quality of Crate Paper or BG for example, but I tend to chose papers by design rather than sticking to a brand. I dont tend to go for papers with large designs on them, if that helps at all - as I dont feel comfortable cutting it or covering it up! I like to get things that co-ordinate or are from the same range as I feel that's the hard work done! Lazy I know!
do you have a tipple or are you a pure at heart tea drinker?
I do drink from time to time, often I will choose Vodka & Diet Red Bull (although I will happily drink Red Bull by itself - esp. if I'm staying up late scrapping!) At Christmas I like to treat myself to a coffee with an added measure of Baileys ;)
you say you like alphas, do you have any you would not want? any favs?
My only real dislike with alphas is glittery ones where the glitter comes off! In fact I dont really like loose glitter at all. I do like a bit of bling & sparkle, but I have to be sure it's going to stay put!
do you own a die cutting machine. and if so which ones?
I have a Cricut Expression and around a dozen cartridges which I really must make more use of - in fact, one thing that would be incredibly useful if Santa knows where to find it would be something to re-sticky the mats with??
I'll be back to ask you more I am sure, but for now, make sure you stay good !!!
I'll try Santa, I'm a good girl most of the time ;)

Good morning Santa, Here I am shaken and not stirred. The film was good but not as good as Casino Royale. Late night didn't get in until after 1, good job it's my day off.Down to the list of questions, you have been very specific and I will try to answer without looking a greedy girl because I really am not fussed ( good northen word) as I love this swap the buying for my swappee the thought that you are thinking about me and the joy of opening a little surprise. I sometimes leave it to open when I get in from work and if I have had a hard day it brings a smile to my face. Enough sentiment down to the task in hand. Stamps , don't like cutesie but an inspirational quote would be great. Like 'life is not measured in the moments we breath but in the moments that take our breath away' I've got that one it was just an example to give you a clue to what I meant. Now you know i am a dotty woman. I hope you have got a cup of coffee in hand , you could be here some time!
Stazon got black and white would love brown but I do think it might be too expensive unless you have an extra one lying in your craft space somewhere hiding doing nothing. I don't mind if it's a used one with some life left in it, a bit like myself! I am surprised I don't have brown as I have loads of inks.
Bling... self adhesive nice tiny bling any colour just to add a bit of sparkle to my cards, silver is always neutral.
Blossoms medium fabric would be great, love the deep plum red ones for those romantic cards and layouts, also good for Christmas cards. I'm rambling a bit now but you will get used to that.My husband has after nearly 30 years married
Herma any is great
Now for a "little" moan.... I hate fibres.
I do use beads on cards sometimes
Fabric I have just seen a card that is layered on a small piece of light cream felt I would like to try.
I will try to upload to my gallery when I get up to lofty heights and use my ancient computer to give you an idea of my style. I can't work out how to do it on this, my DH Mac. I know it's supposed to be better for photo stuff but my husband having the patience of a raging bull has not explained how to do it.I hope you don't think I have been too forward with my answers. Thanks for your time and effort and I hope that your Santa is busy thinking about you as we speak.

Good Morning Gwyneth!
Just so you know I'm always watching..... coming in a 1 am...good girl. Glad you enjoyed the film. Mrs Santa is nagging me to go - something to do with some bloke called Daniel Craig or something. I have to say I don't understand what she is on about.
Thank you answering my questions...I've now started to sort out a few things for you, but remember to keep being good!
Bye for now.

31-10-2008, 11:26 AM
Ho Ho Ho
Hello Santa
sorry it took a little while to answer, I am just so excited as I love christmas and couldnt believe you spoke to me so soon. I am always a good girl, well I try anyway
Anyway to answer your questions
The colours I use most are pinks, purples, orange, red, anything bright really and could always use more
I use cats eye chalks mostly, have most colours but would like orange or red as I dont have these
I do use stamps sometimes but am still trying to get the hang of them
I love alphas of any description
I scrap mostly my dd who is 7, sometimes do my ds who is 18 (thinks he is too old to have his photo taken by his mum) mostly pics of when he was little
Dont think there are any colours I would not like to recieve
I would like a mix of Christmas and non
Five things I would REALLY like to receive, I love handmade things (anything), stickles in bright colours as I only have gold and silver, Girl themed stash, naked chipboard, I have a thing about sheep as well so if you could manage a real life sheep that would be good, if not anything sheep related would be just as nice
The only things I would like to return to sender is anything that smells of lavender or anything flowery
I hope this helps, but I am sure I will love whatever you send me :)

Hello santa ,so nice to hear from you , even better as i think i have a cold coming so you have cheered me up :)
right to answer you
red wine
i can only have one cup of caffinated coffee a day :( so drink decaff ,dont drink tea or much hot choc.
Chip board all kinds , i love stickles dont tell my dh i have nearly all the colours and i have lots of glitter, my floor often looks like tinkerbell has had a party there . Candles are fine so long as they dont smell of cinimon lol. I drink out of whatever someone puts a drink in !! but to be honest prefer a china cup. Body products , i dont like anything greasy.
I am happy with a mixture and am just happy to have someone thinking of me .
Dont work to hard will you ,dont want you worn out before the big event
take care xx
Dear Maddy.
Santa is sorry to hear you have a cold and sends a nice hot toddy to cheer you up.
Now as you have so many stickles would it be easier to ask which colours you don't have? Do you have a favourite body product? If you had ONLY £5 to spend in a shop what would be top of your list?
Santa knows nowt about red wine, so you'll have to help me out with names there, or you could end up with vinegar.
Which magazines do you buy/read? I have lots of magazines and was thinking about parting with a couple, do you mind getting excellent condition but pre owned mags?
And last (for the moment at least) you said you don't do themes as such, but do you make cards?
Look after yourself.
Santa x

I went shopping and bought the main pressie, and ended up buying two cos I just loved it. I guess it's a good sign though cos if I found it easy to give away then I wouldn't have felt it was a good gift I guess.

Hi Santa
I promise i am being good :)
Please could you confirm whether you use 6x6 or 8x8 as well as 12x12 - or do you use all 3?
Yes i use 6x6
You have mentioned several colours that are your favourites, but are there any colours you dont like or dont use?
I am not keen on orange, yellows, purples and pastels.
I see you like chalk inks, paint dabber & stickles - can you let Santa know which colours you already have please?
Will be back in a while with a list of what i already have
Santa would also like to know whether you have any children and if so what age group they are....
I have a boy aged 10 and a girl aged 13
Are there any types of embellishments that you would NOT like to find in your christmas box?
I'm not keen on cutsey, fabric, peel offs, oriental.
My elves have also reminded me that some ladies would be pleased to receive packs of things that were split over a few days...but they couldn't remember if you were one of those ladies, could you remind me please.
I wouldnt mind if they were split over 2 days.
Thanks Santa

I did warn you I'd be back .. the old memory isn't what it was!!
Was it three pussies you have? What are their names and what colour are they?
I see you've opted for soap in the poll ... do you like any particular type - hand made, natural, scented (if so, any favourite aroma?) - make?
Hot chocolate goes down a treat on a chilly evening .. do you like the plain ones or do you like the flavoured ones?
Jewellery .. do you make for pierced ears(do you have pierced ears yourself?) or clips .. or even a mixture of both?
Oh hark at me ... more than enough to think about there ... though I might be back yet again ... now where did I put that reindeer food?

I see you've opted for soap in the poll ... do you like any particular type - hand made, natural, scented (if so, any favourite aroma?) - make?

hi santa,
i've been really good this year
my favourite colours are pink and brown
the majority of my christmas decorations are a little shaker/new england style and also a lot of lovely things by gisella graham, so mainly white, red gingham, burgandy - nothing to glitter and shiny
5 things i would most like to get in my stocking - golly that's a tough one
something hand made with love, something for pampering, something silly, something liquid and perhaps something scrappy - i realy don't mind at all - i'd be happy with lots of bubble bath, or lots of brads, or lots of chocolate and maybe tom chambers - even though he's married - it'd be nice to wake up to him on christmas morning.
there's nothing that i'd hate to receiveapart from a bag of brussle sprouts!
i'd love to experiment with some new things as long as there were instructions!!!!
i hope i've been of some helps santa. i'm very much looking forward to the begining of december
lots of love

Thanks for all the information -have consulted with my very best friend the stocking fairy and have printed off a lot of useful stuff about you. Been shopping and waiting for the elves to deliver some stuff. Still got to get some more bits though.
So.... more questions - do you like doing chipboard books?Do you like the word books -you know the chipboard books that spell out a word?
How old are your children?
Do you like plain colour brads or do you like the ones with a pattern on the top?
Ok - that'll do for now :)

I would love to get a chipboard word book - I have looked at them often and not bought one, but they look fun! Anything chipboard is a hit with me!
I have one little boy - aged 4 (going on about 10!) called Zachary.
Re. brads I tend to go for plain ones - unless the patterns or pictures can be used in little boy LO's - like dinosaurs, cars or pirates.
I can't believe Christmas is less than 2 months away now! ^_^

Is your DH reliable to get this precious parcel over the waters and I would hate to see it lost at sea. I don't know what the weather is like where you are but the snow is falling the reindeer are throwing snowballs the penguins are skating and mother christmas has a big pan of soup on the stove. Wrap up warm and wait for the tinkle of sleighbells.

I know you arent keen on smellies, but do you like to paint your nails? If you do what colours do you like
I know you have a little boy, am I allowed to know his name as the Mrs likes to make little bits (it keeps her quiet)
Do you mind getting anything hand made for you?
I have some gorgeous goodies in my tresure trove, do you have any aversion to sharing packets of goodies with me?
Tell me how you like to pamper and treat yourself ?
And I know you are a card maker, do you like bits for them, or even to get some cards made for you?
I'd like to know lots about you so that I can make your present as perfect for you as I can...so watch out for more questions please....and dont be thinking you know whats coming your way as I also like to ask red herrings!

what christmas coloures do you like to decorate your house in
what stazon coloures have you allready got and which ones would be on your wish list
what genral coloures do you like/dislike to scrap
Thats all for now
im of to plan my naughty/nice list
have a great day
Hello Santa! Sorry, I have been away for the week for half term with no internet access so just catching up with the thread .....
Christmas colours ..... red, green and gold
Stazon colours - only black and blue so far - would really like white - but also brown or red
And I scrap any colours :D. Not so much yellow and orange - and I seem to use lots of blue/green - but I probably should try more unusual combinations - like turqouise and pink with black.
Does that help at all

Hello again Santa :)
I have acrylic nails, so I'm afraid they are always painted by professionals!! I know that doesn't help you much but believe me, they look so much nicer than they would if I tried to paint them myself!!
My DS is called Toby. He saw your post the other day & his eyes lit up at the thought of something for him being in my box!!
I would be happy to receive something handmade for me - I would be very happy that someone took the time & effort involved and if it inspired me or gave my mojo a much needed kick it would be all the more valuable
I have no aversion to sharing at all  especially for stash!
Pampering myself is a tricky one - as I can't use smellies and am trying to break a long established habit of treating myself with food!! My nails are done professionally as I mentioned before....I work full time & am studying too so my biggest indulgence is having time to myself, to sleep or to scrap (not necessarily in order of importance!)
A SMALL choccy treat would be lovely - something I can savour & enjoy without the risk of overdoing it ;) mmmm, favourites would be something along the lines of a Thorntons truffle or 2 - something a little out of the ordinary. I like dark or milk choc but not keen on white as I find it too sweet, is that any help?
I love to get bits for my cards as I like to get new ideas - having some cards made for me would be fab too (as long as it's OK for me to use ideas from them... ;) ) as even tho I make cards for other people I always seem to be rushing around at the last minute to make ones I need myself!
I hope that helps Santa, and I like that fact that you are including red herrings as it keeps the excitement & the surprise going :D :D

Hi there Santa, so nice to hear from you ~ I hope you and Mrs. Claus and all the little elves are well.
I'm glad you found the polls useful ~ I did try to put in as much extra information as I could coz I'm a helpful kind of gal ha! ha!
My DH has been my DH for 28 years and until now has always proved very reliable but he's getting to that age when things are beginning to go ~ just this morning he's complaining about a sore back ~ so let's hope your parcel is not too heavy ha! ha!
One thing I've just thought of, that I should have mentioned earlier (sorry) is that ~ as he will be coming through airport security, I hope you haven't included anything liquidy or 'sharp' that might get him arrested for having a lethal weapon ~ cos "I'll have a blue Christmas without him" ~ to almost quote the words of an old song.
Lots of love

Hi againLebosi Well what do you know the elves had all your parcel wrapped up by 3am this morning. All ready to be shipped, er I mean put on the sleigh!!! I don't think DH will be stopped at customs although there is a small ( less than 100 mls) of fluid in one of the parcels. I hope it get through without having to unwrap everything. If customs do want to open it tell DH to count all the parcels back (each are numbered and also and odd one or two more. Ho Ho Ho.

Hello Maria, I hope you have been a good girl on your scrapping retreat and had lots of fun! (but not too much!;)).
I gave one of my newest elves your details to find you some presents and he was really scared with you owning a scrapbooking shop and not wanting anything to eat or drink either, his poor little skinny knees were knocking together! So I thought I would help him out with a few questions for you!;)
Do you have any other hobbies besides scrapbooking?
What do you do to relax and wind down?
Do you read and what type of things do you read?
Do you do any puzzles like crosswords or soduko?
What colour inks, paints or journaling pens would you like?
What colours are your christmas decorations, I do want your wrapping paper to match!
What gift would you least like to get, besides brussel sprouts?:)
Is there any particular manufacturer you really don't like?
Do you wear gloves, hats and scarfs and what size shoes do you wear?
Would you like your main present to be scrapbooking or something else?
Ok that should keep you busy for a while and give me a range of ideas to choose from:D
Make sure you continue to behave yourself, I will be watching!

Santa is ready to get going on you presents ... but needs some help!
He's noticed you've voted on some of the polls but not on others .... so could you finish letting him know of your preferences, if you can write a comment on the polls that helps Santa get presents that please!!
In the meantime ... Santa would like some questions answered?
He noticed you said you liked thickers in your profile, are there any preferences & would you accept homemade thickers?
You voted on your preferences for PP ... are there any particular ranges that Santa should look out for?
Bye

Oooh hello Santa! I'm surprised you feel the cold with that big bushy beard, Maybe Mrs Claus can knit you a balaclava? I'm very pleased to hear I'm top of the list this year, all that being good has paid off!
To answer your questions, I am very happy to receive a mix of crafty / non-crafty goodies.
I can't really think if there's anything you should know... I'm not allergic to anything, I love anything with cats on, especially tabbies, I'm pretty easy to please, ooh one thing I would like, if you need any ideas, is a small tree decoration. Last year I got a bauble with my name on in my advent box and I thought that was lovely.
Thanks Santa, I'm very excited :) x

Sorry I haven't been in touch sooner but Rudolph had a cold and the elves have been playing up. All sorted now though, I've left the elves polishing Rudolphs nose - keeps them out of mischief.
Thankyou for being good and filling out all the advent polls. You've given me so much info that there isn't much I can think of to ask you right now, but do keep an eye on this thread incase I think of something later, but for now I just have one question:
You say you like cuttlebug embossing folders, can you tell me which ones you already have.
Now you just have to try hard to stay on my Good List

CREATIVE TREASURES
Hello again, Santa is back to ask you a few more questions, just to make sure you get a really nice present....
Do you like alphabets? Which type: stickers, chipboard, patterned, plain...?
Do you have any aversion to sharing some nice goodies with me? That way I can make sure I have enough Special Santa Spending money to get you something really nice for Xmas day (I think I have blown the budget already!!)
What kind of jewellery do you like/wear?
Would your children be allowed to receive a little something (and if so, could Santa please know their names) or is your box to be for you only? (Don't worry, Santa understands if you prefer a special box all for you ;) )
Santa uses a Filofax to keep all those Christmas lists in - Do you use an organiser of some sort? If so, which type/size?
Do you own a cutting machine/bind-it-all/crop-o-dile?
I think that will do for now, Oh - but dont forget to let me know about your collection of inks/paints.....

Dear Santa,
Thank you for my message. Let me try to answer for you. I'm a pretty easy going person really.
Can you answer a few questions for me, my memory isn't what it used to be (old age you know, hohoho)
I have seen your answers to the various polls that my elves kindly added, but i need things to be a bit clearer.
1. you say you like journalling pens, which sort and what colours?
I like white, black and brown journalling pens.
2. Drinks, you say tea, hot chocolate and alcohol, any preference to any, brand, make etc?
I like darjeeling tea, not too keen on Earl Grey. Quite like the less sweet hot chocolates, rather than the very sweet kind. As for alcohol, I like red wine, fizzy wines, mulled wine, only shorts I'm not mad on are bourbons and whiskies. Hope that helps.
3. Glues. you say herma, is that permanent or non permanent or both?
I normally use non-permanent
4. inks, you say Tim Holtz, any preference on colours? Also do you like chalk eyes inks or other other brands as well as Tim Holtz?
I use a lot of brown to edge things, and like earthy colours. I'm happy to use any types of inks!
5. Embellies, you say, amongst other items that you like stickers (but not peel offs, totally understandable by the way hohoho), what sort of stickers are we talking here? alphabets?, cutesy?, vintage?, wordings?
I love alphabets, so stickers are great. Also like words and the liek. I like the vintage style. Not really into themed or cutsey stickers though.
6. I see you have 2 boys, I know that i should know this, what with me being Santa and all, but can i ask their ages?
I have an 8 year old and a 6 year old. I realised thast I hadn't updated that bit of info for a while as I now have an 18month old girl too!
7. Are there any non scrappy items you like, reading material? music?
I love stationery, hats, carves, gloves, candles - don't get much chance to read unfortunately. Love cooking/baking. Enjoy wildlife, photography. Enjoy music not into rap, dance (in the modern sense), reggae, hip hop but enjoy most other things. - love dancing (ceroc) with DH. I love handmade things too, cos there's always a little of the person put into it!
I think that's about all for now, I am sure i will have to pop back though.
Thanks
Thank you Santa :)
Kathryn :)

Hello there Biskit!
Don't worry - you have been a very good girl and so I have lots of ideas for you this Christmas! Thank you for answering the polls so clearly, it has made the chief elf's job of purchasing your goodies much easier!
Just to make sure he does the best job he can, would you mind answering some questions for me?
Do you have a favourite colour? If so, what is it?
Do your Christmas decorations have a theme/colour? Again, please let me know.
Do you have any allergies to foods/fabrics and so on?
What size shoe do you take?
Is there anything you would really love to get craft-wise?
Is there anything that would make you cringe if you were given it as a present, craft-wise?
Well, I think that is all for today. I'm sure I'll be back to ask you more soon!

I am so glad that you found my message and thank you for replying, you have made Santa very happy. HOHOHO.
Just a few more questions before i start my packing of gifts.
1, Are your lovely children allowed any sweet treats during the Festive period, if so which ones?
2, would you like a mixture of scrappy and non scrappy gifts in your box?
3, Would you prefer a scrappy or non scrappy main gift on the big day?
4, You say you like blossoms, would you be happy with a bag of mixed different colours and shapes?
5, you say you like Yankee candles, are these the tart shaped ones?
I think thats about it for now. I need to go and have my dinner now, got to keep the weight up, I don't want to have to go buying a new suit for the big day:)
Oh, could you ask your children to leave me cookies and milk instead of mince pie and beer this year, the mince pies give me terrible heartburn and i always feel bloated with the beer:)
Thank you and remember i am always watching you, so better be good:)

Ooohh...I'm suddenly very excited!!!! Hello Santa!!!
I'm so glad my answers have helped Chief Elf - I know he's very busy at the moment.
Answers to your questions...
Favourite colour: Not really, just like muted and rich tones. Am very much in love with the BG Eva papers as I love that purple used in it, its nice and rich. HTH's. I do hate baby and bright pinks though.
Christmas Decorations: No colour and no theme on "my tree". I only have "baubles" though. Have got lots of tin ones that look like something that Tim Burton has done. (Nightmare before Christmas is my festive watch). I also like ones that look hand made, little bunches of silk cushions that sort of thing. Just something a little different. Oh - but not white as DH's tree is dressed in white.
Allergies: None that I know of.
Shoe size: 7 1/2
What would I love: Ooohhhh....thats a huge question! Lots of things I'd love... The new basic grey lines - Eva & Granola would have to be top of my list as I haven't got anything at all from those ranges (was waiting until after Christmas...and its killing me ) I'm building up my range of distress inks at the moment and have been playing with those today, along with some distress powders. Thickers are something else I'm in love with at the moment.
Cringe worthy: Peel offs! Fabric flowers (love nice paper ones though) Papermania gems - they always come with hearts. Oh anything with hearts, animals or just generally cutesy designs. Decoupage. I think thats it.
Hope thats all been helpful Santa. Thank you!!!

Hello KatieM
I am so glad that you found my message and thank you for replying, you have made Santa very happy. HOHOHO.
Just a few more questions before i start my packing of gifts.
1, Are your lovely children allowed any sweet treats during the Festive period, if so which ones?
They are allowed sweet treats. They can have pretty much anything, apart from they don't have nuts or toffees. My eldest isn't able to eat things like sweets because of his condition (its a capability issue, not a medical one) although I do give him chocolate buttons in his puddings sometimes.
2, would you like a mixture of scrappy and non scrappy gifts in your box?
I would be happy with scrappy and non-scrappy, thank you.
3, Would you prefer a scrappy or non scrappy main gift on the big day?
Gosh, I really don't know, I hadn't thought about that! I really don't mind Santa!
4, You say you like blossoms, would you be happy with a bag of mixed different colours and shapes?
I would be more than happy. I love to put them onto mini books and that type of thing.
5, you say you like Yankee candles, are these the tart shaped ones?
Yes. I love the seasonal ones, like cinnamon, spices and the like.

Just a quick 'hello' from Santa, just so I know that he knows i have been good. I know i filled out the polls really well and my profile is so up-to-date it's slightly scary, LOL.
the Christmas Fairy over at the C.H.R.I.S.T.M.A.S swap hasn't been in to say hello to me either:( Do they both know something I don't? Was I naughty without knowing it? Perhaps I slept walked and did something naughty in my sleep and now don't remember it:(

Oh Maddy ...
Santa is worried about you, I left a message a couple of days ago and since you haven't replied I hope it just means you missed it and not that you are still poorly. I do hope you are feeling better!
I'm having lots of fun shopping for you and only have a few days left to cover now, hopefully that'll cheer you up if you are still poorly.
Here's the message I left the other day

He has some questions so hopefully he gets gifts that please!!
You ticked naked chipboard on the polls ... are there any particular shapes that you like/ use lots of?
On the same poll ... what sort of fabric embellishments do you like?
Do you scrap Christmas? Would you like items to scrap Christmas photos?
Do you have a BIA? You said you liked the Teresa Collins bits ... santa has an idea brewing....
What sizes doe you scrap? Do you make minibooks?
Do you make cards?
Do you do altered art?
Santa has looked for the paper you said you liked, but the elves haven't found it yet. Is there another range you like that I can send the elves off to look for?
Are there any non-scrapping items you would like to receive?

Ooooh Santa!!!
I had a blast at the retreat :D
Sorry its taken me a while to answer you! And please, please don't worry about buying for me! I love most things scrapping and am always grateful for stash that has nothing to do with the shop! The reason I put down not to send me food and drink is cos I'm a fussy so and so about those  I only eat Green and Blacks Milk Chocolate!!!! Wine is even harder and I don't want to cause too much stress for you santa, at this busy time of year
ZIGGYSMAMMY
Hello Maria, I hope you have been a good girl on your scrapping retreat and had lots of fun! (but not too much!;)).
I gave one of my newest elves your details to find you some presents and he was really scared with you owning a scrapbooking shop and not wanting anything to eat or drink either, his poor little skinny knees were knocking together! So I thought I would help him out with a few questions for you!;)
Do you have any other hobbies besides scrapbooking?
I'm learning how to crochet so wool and crochet hooks would be very gratefully received!!!!
What do you do to relax and wind down?
I light the candles, put on some music and open a bottle of wine
Do you read and what type of things do you read?
I do read... chick lit! But to be honest I've still got stacks of books still waiting to be read!
Do you do any puzzles like crosswords or soduko?
Don't really have the time :(
What colour inks, paints or journaling pens would you like?
Brown or white journaling pens! Inks and paints... any colours apart from purple
What colours are your christmas decorations, I do want your wrapping paper to match!
My decorations are pretty multicoloured!!! Don't worry about that...
What gift would you least like to get, besides brussel sprouts?:)
 Nope sprouts wouldn't go down to well!!! Ummm.... not sure really... not into cutesy cutesy stuff and peel offs?
Is there any particular manufacturer you really don't like?
None that spring to mind!
Do you wear gloves, hats and scarfs and what size shoes do you wear?
I have heaps of gloves, hats and scarfs!!! I'm a size 5
Would you like your main present to be scrapbooking or something else?
Oooh yes.. scrap stuff would be fab :)
Ok that should keep you busy for a while and give me a range of ideas to choose from:D
Make sure you continue to behave yourself, I will be watching!

Right to answer your questions , stickles to be honest apart for the clear ones i think i have enough to last me forever.
Fav body product , has to be nice smelly shower gel as i rarely seem to have time to relax in the bath these days.
£5 to spend , hmmm that would have to be something sparkly and blingy and shiney .
Wine , i am not fussy and think i have drunk vinigar in the past lol , Merlot is a good choice tho as is a nice rose zinfandel.
I am a mag junkie and have probably got most of them unless they are aussie ones lol .
Lastly yes i do make cards sometimes.
Santa please dont work to hard , its a very busy time of year for you , put your feet up for a while and send someone out for a starbucks , you do have one of those at the north pole , right ??
Big hugs Maddy xx

Ho Ho ZIGGYSMAMMY!
Glad you got my message, I know that you have been super busy just like Santa!:D Thanks for the answers, it gives me lots to ponder! I have taken your assigned elf on a few shopping sprees myself now and he had loads of fun and is not so worried anymore! I do wish one of the presents I give you could be some extra time but alas only Father Time can do that.:( Hmmm you only eat Green and Blacks chocolate, I have never tried that before, I think I will need to try some seeing as you think it is so good:D (purely for research purposes you understand!;))
Oh yes and don't you worry about those very horrible people who stole your bank cards, they have been put on the naughty list and will not get any presents from me this year!

Message for Puddlepants
Santa has been studying your posts in the polls and they have been very helpful to me and my elves but we would appreciate a little bit more information to ensure we get your parcel exactly right :)
1. What would be the 10 best items to receive?
2. What would be the 10 items Santa should avoid at all costs?
3. Do you celebrate Christmas and do you have a particular colour scheme i.e. traditional, modern?
4. You say you love all ribbon and braid but do you have any favourite colours/makes?
5. I see you have ticked alcohol in the polls but do you have a favourite tipple?
6. Do you have any children and if so what sex/age are they?
7. Do you have any other hobbies?
8. Would you like to receive all craft related gifts in your parcel or a mixture?
9. I see you like naked chipboard are there any particular shapes that you would prefer?
10. You say you would love anything Mixed Media but is there anything you have been yearning for?
We hope you don't mind us asking lots of questions but we want to make your Christmas very special :)

Message forlebosiPlease see earlier message. Your parcel is ready and waiting to be posted. It does have a small bottle of liquid ( less than 100mls in.) As it is already wrapped it would be difficult to unwrap and spoil all the elves hard workSanta

Santa has just returned from a little shopping spree, but still has plenty of pennies left to spend. Please could you answer a few more questions for him so he can finish his shopping at the NEC next week.
Keeping things reasonable (unless Santa happens to win the lotto this week!), what would be in your top 5 gifts to receive (scrapping and non-scrapping)?
Is there anything you would hate to receive?
When you say you like altered type stuff, is that something for you to alter yourself,or that the Elves have had a little play with?
What about candles? Do you use them? If so, any particular sort or frangrance?
Santa has gone for a mix of scrapping/craft pressies and non-scrapping/craft pressie so far, and hopes that is ok, but would like to know whether you would like your pressie for under the tree to be one or the other or a mixture too.
Thankyou!

Hi Santa, sorry i didn't see this yesterday
CREATIVE TREASURES
Hello again, Santa is back to ask you a few more questions, just to make sure you get a really nice present....
Do you like alphabets? Which type: stickers, chipboard, patterned, plain...?
I like plain alphabets. :)
Do you have any aversion to sharing some nice goodies with me? That way I can make sure I have enough Special Santa Spending money to get you something really nice for Xmas day (I think I have blown the budget already!!)
That would be lovely to share some goodies with you. :)
What kind of jewellery do you like/wear?
I have sensitive ears and can only wear gold. :)
Would your children be allowed to receive a little something (and if so, could Santa please know their names) or is your box to be for you only? (Don't worry, Santa understands if you prefer a special box all for you )
If santa would like to send my children something that would be great, their names are Sofie and Shay. :)
Santa uses a Filofax to keep all those Christmas lists in - Do you use an organiser of some sort? If so, which type/size?
I have never kept an organiser, but that would be fab, that way i might even become organised!! 6"x6" ish or smaller would be a good size :)
Do you own a cutting machine/bind-it-all/crop-o-dile?
I have a cuttlebug, sizzix, bind it all, zutter cutting machine and crop o dile. :)
I think that will do for now, Oh - but dont forget to let me know about your collection of inks/paints.....
I have most colours of dabbers, but i am running low on my favourtie: Pink Sherbert and cranberry (any pinks i love).
The stickles i have are Cotton Candy, Icicle, Frosted Lace, Turquiose, Platinum, Pink. :)
Thanks Santa, im really excited :)

Hello again Biskit!
I said I would be back again to ask some more questions.
Do you like jewellery?
Do you have your ears pierced?
Do you wear hair slides/ bands and so on?
Do you wear any make-up, nail varnish?
Now don't try to guess your gifts - there may be red herrings in all your questions! ;)

Hello again Santa!!
I love jewellery, but only wear silver (or platinum ), and yes I have my ears pierced, apparently I'm very hard to buy for though. Thats my DH's excuse for never buying me jewellery then!
I have long hair and young kids - so yes to hair bands.
Make-up & nail varnish - yep I do wear them but not very often.
I am intrigued by your questions, but I'm refusing to guess...it would take too much energy :lol:
Thanks for stopping by again! Its very exciting to see my name "up in lights".

oooooh fab to hear from you again Santa.....
top 5 gifts to receive...
fabric scraps, homemade items, bling (4mm), swirls (rub-ons/chipbord), glitter thickers
hate to receive: coffee, ginger, anything wrapped in polystyrene (eughhhh horrible stuff), cutesy, chintzy, decoupage, peel-offs
altered stuff: for me to alter or for me to alter with OR altered by the elves - its all good! lurvvve Tim Holtz,Zettiology, Paperartsy type stuff
candles: although I like candles - I do have a lot of them. The small tea light ones are best because I don't have long periods of time when it is safe to burn the larger ones. I would love an "altered" tea light holder lol. Fragrance wise - I like (unusually for me) girly flowery scents (love rose, freesia, hyancinth etc) also like the clean cotton type scents. Not keen on "male type scents" sandalwood, patchouli type stuff and I loathe lavender !!!
my pressie for under the tree: I really don't mind - I can think of pros and cons for both!
Hope this is helpful.....

Thank you Tracy, you're right at the top of Santa's "nice, good & helpful" list! ;)
Just a little clarification and I think my job will be done ;)
What kind of jewellery do you like/wear?

If santa would like to send my children something that would be great, their names are Sofie and Shay. :)
Do you like to wear any other jewellery apart from gold earrings? - Mrs Santa likes to have bracelets & bangles of all types & colours, something to do with co-ordinating her outfits apparently
Do you like to alter things? Or do you make other items apart from Scrapbook LOs and cards? if so, what kind of things do you like to make/use?
I see that your children are also on my "nice" list - although they probably think I dont exist  do you think they would like a sweet treat or something that the elves had made for them? The elves are making some really nice little notebooks this year - do you think Sofie & Shay would like something like that? Or would they prefer a sweet treat of some sort?
I'm going to be sooooo busy over the next few weeks. It's such a lot of work getting presents to all the good boys & girls around the world, but it is worth it to make them all so happy  mind you, I am looking forward to a nice long sleep come Boxing Day!!

I think I may manage within budget but I've been a bit creative and raided my own stash for a few items (I do some other crafts too and have some items that are ideal - brand new and unused but I'm counting them as "free" in mu budget ;)). I hope the final parcel will still seem worthwhile to my swappee :D

Do you like glitter in any form?
Do you like candles and if so what types of smells do you like?
Do you wear any type of jewellery?

Hi Santa,
You have been busy. I must firstly apologise for not getting my gallery updated, hardly had time to breath over the last couple of weeks. The only time I have been up to 'lofty heights' has been to wrap and pack my advent swap which still needs some attention. To answer your questions....
I do journal on pages but don't know exactly know what journal 'spots' are???? I am a little thick.I have a whole rainbow of glitter and do use it, mainly the 'snow' glitter.Being an aromatherapist I do use scented candles and love the 'Christmas' smells. Jewellery ... I tend to wear the same all the time , because I am too lazy to coordinate before I go out to work but often look at DD selection and envy how she matches clothes and accessories. The 'What would you least like to receive' is a hard one' ... let me think ....fibres probably but as I have said I love this swap because I think it brings the season to life. The fact that I know you have gone to a lot of trouble to put together a parcel I will like already gives me a warm feeling. Thanks santa

Hi All, I too have gone way over my budget and still need to buy some bits. I have also pinched things (brand new in packaging)from my own stash so that the money goes a bit further, because you can't really buy a lot for £25 can you!!!
The one thing i am having a terrible time with is the main present, I want to make sure it is something my swappee will love to open, this is one present i can defenitely see me going way over the recommended £5 for :)
I am waiting on a parcel with some bits in and i need to get a box big enough, plus the wrapping paper, but hoping it will all be done so i can send it sometime next week (I am at uni the following week to need to get it sent by next saturday at the latest).

Oh Tiamariad .... Santa is calling!
Tiamariad
Santa is getting a better idea of what pressies to buy for you advent enjoyment!
Santa
Santa is getting busy with the christmas list letters so would really like to buy your advent goodies soon so they arrive in time ... can you take the time to answer my questions so that I can send the elves out ....

I placed an order for some goodies last night at two different shops, so I've got those to arrive, and a shopping trip planned for next week for any last bits / extras, then I need to agonize over what to give on what day, I mean I don't want to disappoint on day 1, but then I don't want to give something fabulous on day 1 only to have the rest of the days seem a let down by comparison ( i think i think about it too much!) Then just the wrapping, I've got my box ready, so not too much left to do!

Dear Puddlepants, Santa is desperate to hear from you so that he can get your parcel packed and ready for delivery :)

Hi Santa
I'm sorry this has taken so long as I did fill it in once and then it didn't post so I had to walk away from the computer before I stated calling the computer all sorts of hurtful names:angry::angry::angry:. Anyway now I've composed myself here goes...

Santa is getting a better idea of what pressies to buy for you advent enjoyment!
He has some questions so hopefully he gets gifts that please!!
You ticked naked chipboard on the polls ... are there any particular shapes that you like/ use lots of? Anything goes I love the male and female icons and also the robots they are soooo cute.
On the same poll ... what sort of fabric embellishments do you like? I love allsorts really, I really like the felt frames that are out there at the moment but anything goes.
Do you scrap Christmas? Would you like items to scrap Christmas photos? Not usually but I am going to this year. I have bought the My Minds Eye christmas papers but couldn't find anything to co-ordinate in the shop if that helps at all?
Do you have a BIA? You said you liked the Teresa Collins bits ... santa has an idea brewing.... I likey this idea, what was it again? hehehe I didn't think that trick would work! I do have a BIA!!!!
What sizes doe you scrap? Do you make minibooks? I scrap mixed sizes and do make mini books.
Do you make cards? Don't really know how!
Do you do altered art? Yes i like doing all sorts I'll always try something once!
Santa has looked for the paper you said you liked, but the elves haven't found it yet. Is there another range you like that I can send the elves off to look for? TBH I haven't been encouraging myself to look as I have to save money and not spend it so there isn't anything I can think of. Howabout maybe your favourite range?
Are there any non-scrapping items you would like to receive? I realdon't mind? Something of Santa's own creation would be lovely if Santa has the time!!!!
Santa
Thanks Santa. I really can't wait to see you this Christmas!!!!

Beans it is then ;)
Hiya Santa, I'm a card maker rather than a scrapper so most colours I'm happy with as I choose my colours to match the person i'm sending to - if you see what i mean! I'm not a pink girly sort of person, but I love making pink girly cards, I also love blue and purple. The only colours I have quite a lot of are black and white.
thanks :) x

Dear Puddlepants, Santa is desperate to hear from you so that he can get your parcel packed and ready for delivery :)
oops, sorry, missed a few days. Won't happen again I PROMISE Santa.
1. What would be the 10 best items to receive?
Eek! Well actually I like odd things. In a recent craft swap on a parenting site I received a wonderfully diverse box of which my favourite item was a set of brass keyholes and cover! But I'll have a go.
1 brass hardware
2 unusual braid
3 rich coloured paint
4 alcohol inks
5 pretty beads
6 tiles like scrabble or mah jong
7 arty charms, think wings, keys etc
8 craft moulds or texture plates (I use Utee and polymer clay)
9 mica particles
10 bits of broken/vintage jewellery
2. What would be the 10 items Santa should avoid at all costs?
1 Disney
2 Nestle (and any huge multinationals, Walmart etc, are you getting a good pic of my political views here?)
3 stickers
4 card making
5 pastel papers (though pastels are fine for beads and ribbons/fibres)
6 cutesy
7 word pebble type things
8 cuddly toys
9 candles
10 fennel
3. Do you celebrate Christmas and do you have a particular colour scheme i.e. traditional, modern?
We're Christian and love the Christmas celebrations. We have traditional red, gold and green on a real tree. Our decs are mainly traditional but I like quirky too.
4. You say you love all ribbon and braid but do you have any favourite colours/makes?
No fav makes, as most of my ribbon is unbranded and my braid vintage. I like sludgey autumnal colours or rich, deep colours but I use pastels for the clothes I make to sell.
5. I see you have ticked alcohol in the polls but do you have a favourite tipple?
I'll drink anything! I mainly drink red and white wine and real ale but I also like single malts, Baileys, liquers, anything really.
6. Do you have any children and if so what sex/age are they?
2 boys, Zadok is 7, Elijah is 4. They like the usual boy stuff, despite my efforts on gender neutrality. Zadok's fav colour is green and Elijah's is red (as in Power Ranger Red  )
7. Do you have any other hobbies?
I sew. Every day. I love sewing, I aim to either sew or craft something each day. I like making arty jewellery too. For reading I prefer biographies about women or historical books
8. Would you like to receive all craft related gifts in your parcel or a mixture?
A mix would be lovely, though mainly craft
9. I see you like naked chipboard are there any particular shapes that you would prefer?
Not really. I have a Big Shot so can cut basics like hearts, stars, flowers, tags etc. So something more unusual and swirly perhaps?
10. You say you would love anything Mixed Media but is there anything you have been yearning for?
Gosh, what? Unusual mediums perhaps, like expandable paste? Arty type moulds or stamps? My favourite shop is http://www.3djean.co.uk/ which gives you an idea of my tastes. She also does odd but cheap things like vintage postcards and cabinet cards. Oops, bad move, I'm just off to buy her new shrine kit....
Thank you so much Santa - I really will be pleased with anything I get.

I'm hoping that my last bits will be here by next weekend, should there be a problem I'm off to the NEC on the saturday so I can pick up any extras/missings then (with luck). That said I hope to post the following week. Once its done I'd like to get shot...

I've got a few bits and bobs together, but am off to the NEC armed with a long list, and am waiting on a little something from the US, and then should be done, apart from finding a box, wrapping and labelling, posting etc etc.
So I'm hoping that means a tick on Santa's "nice" list for me, but I fear I must be on his naughty list, cos I haven't heard from him at all!

Ha Janie - you are so wrong! I have been watching you! And stalking all your posts. And you have left me struggling a bit because most of your posts seem to be about non-scrapping stuff.
Never mind - I have set the elves busily making you a few things and Mrs Santa has been trawling on-site shops. In fact she has been hogging the computer so much I couldn't get on the UKS site to leave you a message.
So never fear, your parcel is coming together nicely. Just one question - what are sparkly H20s which you mentioned in one of your posts? We can't find them anywhere - but maybe we are looking in the wrong place.....
Anything you wopuld absolutely HATE to find in your box?

Oooh Santa, you have made me a very happy girlie just before I go to work! I'm sorry most of my posts are about none scrapping stuff - I used to post loads and loads, and have a big gallery, but then when UKS got trimmed down to size, they all got cut cos they were so old! Truth be told I hardly ever have time to scrap these days, what with littlun and work, and any mojo I had vanished into the mist long time ago! Anything to get me going again would be fab, and I do seem to be most productive around cybercrops, so I think things with instructions are good for me. The twinkling H2Os are like a shimmery dust that you can add water to and paint with, but I do know that they are very expensive and so wouldn't expect to find them in my parcel really, unless the elves had some part used ones that they didn't need anymore and didn't mind somebody else playing with.
I can't think of anything I would really hate, but I wouldn't be too keen on green holographic wheelbarrows / peeloffs etc a la Dawn Bibby!! I would appreciate anything that had been made specially for me, and DH would always hoover up any edibles that weren't to my liking (but that isn't much!!!). We're going for non-breakables on the Xmas tree this year due to small person, but anything goes colour wise. I'm an easy to please kinda girl and just the fact that somebody has thought about selecting a little package each day as a surprise for me is the nicest bit.
Hope that helps you a little bit, Santa, and you take it easy too!

How old is your Son and whats his name? I know Santa should know this but I am getting old and it sometimes slips my mind!!
I've seen some of your cards (they are lovely by the way) and it looks like the images were stamped? If this is the case what stamps do you like, is there any specific stamp you're after?
Is your dog allowed treats? If so is there anything your dog really enjoys? Also whats the dogs name?
Santa is really struggling to locate Doodlebug Christmas papers/even after googling and searching the USA websites - Have you seen them anywhere available? If not is there any other ranges you're after?
Can you tell me lots of information about you that you think will help me with putting your advent together. As I've asked all the questions I can think of but I'm sure there are lots of things I don't know because I've not asked the right questions!

I'm gradually getting things. Its been quite difficult as I don't have a bricks & mortar shop near me so I haven't been able to mooch to look. Also my swappee has things that I don't have so I've found it hard to know that I've ordered the right things to go with them! Going by all my info I've found it really difficult to find much under £1 at times that doesn't look like tat! At the moment each present is more than that. I know I've blown the budget but I would hate my person to be disappointed by their presents. Actually the Christmas Day present was the easiest one to get!
I'm hoping to be able to make something or two to put into the package.

I also struggled with this until I read that you can include things from your own stash for 'free'. I feel much happier now that I've had added some bits and pieces. This obviously takes the value way over £25 (however, even if you were only spending £1 a day and a fiver on Christmas then it still comes to more than the 'limit').
Parcel should be winging it's way shortly:)

My brain is so cabbaged this morning I spent 5 minutes looking at it and wondering if I'd ordered any books off ebay,

Glad to hear the elves are behaving themselves and not wasting time playing snowballs.
I hope they are on their way back as there is still plenty to be done here before the big day

This has been so much fun. I hope my Lady loves her goodies. I'm still waiting for bits and pieces to arrive but have wrapped the presents that are ready. I too have gone way over budget but it has been well worth it, I get so much more from giving and watching (in this case reading) the recipients response!!! I'm looking forward to the 1st!!!! Well must go and wrap some more!!!!

YOu know what - I think we're all worrying if our swapee's will like what we have got for them, but to my mind you can see from these posts that so much time and effort has been put into them, I'm sure they'll be loved.

I agree. After all, we've all done the shopping etc for this so we all know the effort that goes into it and how difficult it is to stick within budget
I've finished shopping now - the last of my goodies arrived this morning. I need to make a card, make some tags, and wrap everything - hopefully I can get that done this weekend :)

Some people send a card from Santa but what I have done in past advent swaps is sign it myself so that your swapee knows who has sent the lovely gifts :)

I am going to hide my chrsitmas card in the last present:)
I really need to sit down tonight and get the card made and presents wrapped and in the box I have (I am hoping they fit in the box) If the box is too small i will have to wait till the weekend before i can get a bigger one, but i really want to send it out on Saturday!!
I am really looking forward to receiving my box and I know that after all the effort that has gone into doing this I will love whatever is in there, I am hoping my swappee will feel the same:)

Hello again Dizzy.
I'm so glad your parcel arrived safely ... delegating is necessary sometimes but I always worry until I know theyv'e done as good a job as my reindeer and elves do!!!
December isn't so far away now ... so not too long to wait, but perhaps hiding it away is a good idea .. not so much temptation. HoHoHo!!
I'll look out for future posts ... I like to see if I've made the right choices ... all those people and all of them wanting something different ... which reminds me ..must get on ,,, busy, busy, busy.
Merry Christmas

Oohh, how exciting. I'll be sure to let you know as soon as it arrives.
One small problem - I may not have computer access between Christmas Eve and 28th December (family sleeping in the computer room, so furniture has to be moved etc etc), so if I don't acknowledge any messages you leave between those dates, you'll know why. I may be able to creep online sometime, but don't hold your breath ...

GALADRIEL - The elves didn't realise that the post office closed at 12.30 on a Saturday so I'm afraid your parcel is still in the sleigh. I'll send Rudolph off to post it on Monday- sorry for the delay! Thanks for letting me know you might not be around, now I won't worry that you hate your Christmas Day pressie and aren't speaking to me ;)

My box is all wrapped and ready to go, but I don't think I will be able to post it till Friday or saturday. I am at uni for the week except Friday and won't be getting home till gone 5.30pm, so will miss the post office.
Is Friday or Saturday too late to get to my swappee on time?
I can't leave it with DS to take to the post office as i have no idea how much it will cost:(

Sorry I have been away and must confess I din't get round to checking this thread Santa - didn't think you would be so quick.
The parcel hasn't arrived yet - I don't know what is going on with the post here - a circle journal was sent to me 14 days ago recorded delivery and hasn't arrived - I ordered all the stuff for my swapee two weeks ago from three sponsors on here - they dispatched immediately and none of it has arrived and a parcel sent for my DD birthday four weeks ago is missing.
I'm just about tearing my hair out.
I promise I will let you know immediately it arrives.
{{{}}}'s Lesley, have you got the same postie as me? It sucks when stuff goes missing, the stress really isn't needed especially at this time of the year. Last year I got three red slips saying they couldn't deliver because I wasn't in, but when we went to the sorting office they couldnt find the parcels, their answer was.. ask the person that sent it to put in a claim, how on earth can they if you don't know who the parcel as from?? I've lost count of how many parcels have gone missing to my house, it seems mentioning getting the police involved has worked though as one that strayed for a week recently was delivered to the office (with my home address on it!).
Hope everyone else is having a little less stress, mine is ready to be packed, just need a box :)

:( That really sucks!
I've had that problem recently too. Sorting office couldn't help for 2 weeks!!! I found that re-arranging delivery online has worked in 6/8 cases so far  (get me, all statistical, eh?!) Gods know why they can find it to re-deliver, but not to collect!!!
Just a suggestion, but hope it helps you both!

I went to the sorting office again today and asked them to go and look for the missing parcels. Nothing there but the woman behind me in the queue had two missing recorded deliveries and was trying to find them.
I seriously think I am going to say that I will go to the police. I can understand maybe one getting mislaid but 5!!!!! This week four parcels will be over 15 days late so will be "officially" missing so I can really go to town on them.

I have to agree the post office is being a bit shoddy at the moment! I ordered a Camera for my little one and it arrived in a post office bag as they had damaged it while in their care, I'm debating sending my parcel via courier and insuring it just to make sure! I'm almost ready to send my parcel out! I've managed to spend twice the budget and some but it has been so much fun, just a few little things to make this week and then it's off to my swappee. Not long to go now though is everyone excited?!?!
