I adore Sassafrass Lass ... love it all , paper , chipboard , stickers, stamps. Love the new BG ranges especially Urban Prairie and Ambrosia and Offbeat but have some of that (Offbeat) . Really love the new Wassail range as well. Again love all the bits that go with it . Scenic Route is mynext favourite range.
Making Memories and Crate Paper are lovely too , again especially the new ranges and I also love all things October Afternoon , especially the stamps... !

I love all Sassafras and all the bits that go with the collections.
I love all October Afternoon and all the bits that go with the collections.
I love all Pink Paislee and all the bits that go with the collections.

If you want to send me some specifically Christmas themed stash I am totally in love with the Christmas collections by Sassafras (called Life at the Pole) and KI Memories (not sure what it’s called but it's here (http://www.kimemories.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=shopki.ProductLineHome&setid=315) if you want to look).

Oh and I don't normally really like KI Memories stuff (unless it's Love Elsie) but this collection is amazing!

17-10-2008, 09:52 AM
I have ticked the don't send me any pp because I have loads and really need to use what I have...
Having said that.... I do like those little pads that you get...you know... basic grey/K&Co/DCWV/etc... that are 6x6 or 8x8... they are so useful...so I don't mind that sort of thing...

danyaz
17-10-2008, 10:04 AM
anything really as long as it isnt making memories pp, not keen on that.

17-10-2008, 10:08 AM
Anything really so long as it isn't in primary colours. Like October Afternoon, Pink Paislee, Crate Paper.

ooooooo love PP, so won't really mnd what i get--just no 'in your face colours' :D

17-10-2008, 10:42 AM
I've picked some but I don't normally have favourite manufacturers, I like what I like, no matter who makes it. Having said that, I've never been mad about Basic Grey, not too good with "fussy" pp, usually like Scenic Route (although not mad about their Christmas range this year). Sorry - that's probably been more confusing than helpful!

Ooh, Basic Grey new collections. I have most of the other collections, just not yet got to the new ones. I'd love to receive some.

17-10-2008, 11:18 AM
I love all Pink Paislee and stamping up however I just go with anything. As long as I have two co ordinating sheets (ie from the same collection) then I am fine ;)

Being a digi scrapper I haven't a clue about who makes what ... but I do like "moody" designs and, thanks to VV, I now like making mini books so I had a trawl through the list and saw some I liked :-
Most of Making Memories, Crate Paper and MME; all of Basic Grey; Fleuriste range from Cosmo Cricket, Playlist from Daisy Bucket and Art Nouveau and Rue from Dream Street. Gosh, that looks everso greedy!!! Most of these seem to be double sided so you do get value for money!

I like just about anything. Have had a quick look and like almost everything. Wouldn't use lovey, animal, child prints though. Love retro, flowers, grungy, brights, patels .................. list goes on and on. PPs is one of my weaknesses.

I prefer cardstock weight papers and use a lot of BasicGrey, Scenic Route and Fancy Pants. I also love the die-cut edged papers that Making Memories, Creaive Imaginations, Autumn Leaves, etc.. produce. :)

I like bright colours but not necessary primary colours. A bit of glitter is nice sometimes too.

17-10-2008, 01:33 PM
I love paper, any paper (i'm so easy to buy for my santa is lucky ;) ) Would prefer smaller sheets rather than 12x12 but it's not essential, oh and not with too big a pattern on it as I mostly make cards.

17-10-2008, 01:40 PM
I'm not very in-the-know about makes of papers. I don't like pastel colours and florals as I'm unlikely to use them. Earthy tones are good, and anything that fits in with my general themes (see other polls).

17-10-2008, 02:48 PM
Absolutely love Dream Street the best, followed by BoBunny, Doodlebug, Crate, October Afternoon, MME, Imaginisce...gone off Basic Grey so would like to avoid that please

Anything remotely boyish and a little worn is spot on...honestly I can't tell you how much I love Dream Street especially the new Christmas range ;)

I would say that my all time ave PP's are Scenic Route, Sassafrasslass, Fancy pants, Basic Grey. Be happy with any of those.

I love Basic Gray!! But also love cosmo cricket and scenic route..I am not into pinks as I have 4 grown sons I am scrappy my way through the zillions of childhood pics of them..the distressed look is also a love of mine where paper is concerned. :)

17-10-2008, 05:17 PM
Cosmo Cricket is my fav brand but to be honest like all sorts. Not fussed on small, flowery patterns, like big and bold; scrolls; 'themed'; geometric

17-10-2008, 05:39 PM
I prefer the cardstock weight papers and at the minute I am loving all the my minds eye papers. Also really love any of the shaped papers.

Kron
17-10-2008, 06:19 PM
Really need to be more adventurous with my papers, haven't really tried very many brands at all. Don't like geometric though or anything to in your face!

17-10-2008, 06:21 PM
i love PP - but I have sooo much and I am sooo fussy (there isn't a range that I like everything in) that it would be best not to send any!! - sorry

17-10-2008, 06:45 PM
I've ticked all of them, how can I choose? I particularily like Kay&Co and Basic Grey though.

17-10-2008, 09:24 PM
BG all the way for me!!! Any of their new stuff except Archaic as I got that at Ally Pally. Also like Cosmo Cricket and just about anything really! I'll give it all a go, except anything too girly and pink or anything for child LOs as I don't have kids.

Woozle
17-10-2008, 10:22 PM
I haven't ticked anything 'cos I find I don't consistently like one brand.
I like subtle papers not bold designs. My favourite papers are those which are like a colour wash or distressed looking - some of the plainer Basic Grey are fab :)

I don't use a lot of patterned paper, doing an inordinate number pf pages cardstock only, but having said that, I haven't bought, or even looked at, new papers for about 10 months, so anything that's newer would no doubt be welcome :)

Sonia2007
17-10-2008, 10:37 PM
like most PP - especially Basic Grey - prefer subtle shades.

17-10-2008, 11:24 PM

This si the tactile side of me coming out again but I guess the most important thing for me is the feel - I do not like the thin flimsy ones no matter what the pattern - I love cardstock quality paper. I love Basic Grey but to be honest I have all of them apart from the very very latest ones including euphoria which is lush - I have the new cosmo cricket one that was on qvc recently as a tsv and have got the dtuch girl one - I love fancy pants papers and scenic route

dizzy
18-10-2008, 12:42 PM
I seem to like all but not paisly print of old vintage style with flowers. Big daisys and such are good.

I didn't tick anything because I like so many papers. The only ones I don't really like are striped. I like bright colours as well.

dragonfly jane
19-10-2008, 02:07 AM
If I had to pick a favourite range it would be 'My Mind's Eye' but it's a hard choice.
I like many styles depending on my mood and what I'm making, I seem to use a lot of striped papers and dotted ones.

iana
19-10-2008, 10:52 AM
i love patterned papers, and adore the Kaiser range (not named above) i like papers that arent too in your face, if that makes sense..

i have a mammoth stack of papers though, so dont worry if the thought of buying papers for someone else is tooo daunting!!

It's hard to choose which makes I like really, I like most makes.... I prefer bright cheery papers to subdued colours/ heritage type papers....but then I'm sure everything will be useful at some time (at least that's what I tell myself as my paper stash mounts up!)

22-10-2008, 07:46 PM
Actually I love bits of all makes of pattern paper but Basic Grey and Crate Paper are my favourites.

23-10-2008, 04:36 PM
I like pp's but am no use here as I'm afraid I just pick stuff up - I don't know the names of them at all! Eek!

I'll just copy over what I put in my profile here -

Marah Johnson & Elsie Flannigan style
Grunge/Rock/Gothic/Fairytale
Bright, funky colours, blacks, PURPLES (love purples)
Stars, skulls, birdies - big patterns I can cut out and make embellies out of.

Not a fan of heritage stuff.

juliab
23-10-2008, 09:50 PM
Apart from Basic Grey (which I have loads of) I don't really have any favourites - I just buy what I like when I see it - so that isn't vey helpful! I havebought quite a few Theresa Collins most recently. I suppose two or three sheets of complementary papers from a range would be good cos I tend to just buy one sheet of any range and then find it doesn't match anything else.

The only other helpful suggestion I can make is that I haven't really bought anything much in the last 12 months so anything new will def be different from what I have

24-10-2008, 06:29 PM
Love, love, love basic grey. Have offbeat but love the new urban prairie and more of their christmas papers are always welcome
Love MM noteworthy papers (and everything else in the range ;) )
Anything funky, unusual or stripey is good :D

Spooky
24-10-2008, 09:28 PM
I liked BG older papers, but nothing really from the last about 3 releases called me ...
I've gained a smattering of old KI Memories (their colour theory range), some Scenic Route.

Otherwise its the odd sheet here or there, as I rarely buy whole collections just the few sheets I like in the collection.

I'm rather frugal when it comes to PP in my LOs and and tend to use it in smaller pieces so prefer small repeating patterns. I also tend to cut put sections of PP with larger bolder patterns, So prefer ones that have a route through to cut out a section as such... had to explain so I'll try to upload a couple of examples....

I tend to use blues, greens & purples a lot, but hate pink so rarely use that... not a massive fan of brown either, other than when using with rusty/ earthy tones.
