Don't have close family except DH, who isn't into scrapping; we both loathe being photographed; never had children and tend not to take holidays so I've voted for Heritage and Christmas.

I scrap everything but generally don't use specifically themed papers.

17-10-2008, 01:30 PM
I'm a cardmaker rather than a scrapper, I make a lot of birthday cards so anything birthday themed would be used. Love anything with cats on. Wouldn't want baby or wedding themed things but other than that I can use most anything.

Most of my scrapping is around my 2 boys..aged 3 and 4. Also like scrapping holidays...earlier this year went to New Zealand and haven't scrapped any of that stuff yet. Would like to do a 'book of me' next year so anyhting around that theme would be good too.

17-10-2008, 05:41 PM
just about anything goes here for me also....I have put no fem. as I have 4 grown sons so don't do very much fem. at all, I love scrapping my graveyard photo's (headstone statues) so themes that would look good with those would be awesome.

my main scrappin is my family history photos I'm trying to get through, so anything heritage, Dogs, and though not been on holiday for a while still got loads of old photos to scrap mainly from Wales and some from Disney. We tend to go on lots of day trips to 1940's events, farm parks and vintage transport musuems and rallies.

Having said all that, most things find a home because I also like doing mini books on allsorts of topics.

I scrap almost anything, however I don't use much "themed" stash as I find it doesn't fit my experiences! My scrapping is mostly:
Days out in the UK (castles, cathedrals that sort of thing); Holidays/Trips - but I don't do beach! My holidays are either Guide camp or towns&cities!; My Guides doing activities - anything from cooking to canoeing; My life - from childhood to present day - again, anything & everything gets scrapped; My family (including history) - but I'm really fussy about what I use for these sort of pages so prob best not to do "heritage" stuff!

I don't have pets or children (unless you count 24 Guides & the odd dozen Brownies borrowed every now & then!). I don't do beach holidays, big birthday parties etc. I don't do a lot of "family" scrapping - we are a very small family & don't do a lot of "stuff" together.
I do scrap "religious" - mostly Christian but with odd bits from other faiths. I do NOT celebrate/scrap Halloween or Valentines day. I don't scrap Easter as it is a religious occasion for me not a "bunny & egg" type occasion and I don't scrap much about Christmas either - there are no kids in my family and we don't do the "big" Christmas thing/Santa etc.

I scrap a lot of family, friends occasions etc oh and pets as i have a little hooligan now... but i dont really buy themed stash as it doesnt fit me as a person..

When it comes to holiday i go to the caribbean so i need tropical etc if you decided this as i have a lot of dom rep pictures that need to still be scrapped lol...... its so so hard!

like a lot of people not really one for theme stash as such but I do have two young children a boy aged 6 and a girl aged 4 and yep they are the main focus of my scrapping. I do not have pets so would not use ANYTHING pet related. I already have a fair bit of christmas type stuff and to be honest I havent really gotten around to using any of it yet. I always do a summer holiday album.

I am very much a travel scrapper - lots of exotic trips to record. This year it was a three week road trip in the US but also have a mountain of pjhotos from other places too - Peru, India, China, various parts of Africa and lots of European photos.

Other than that the main focus of my pages are DS (11 years old) DD (now 21 but lots of earlier photos too) and times on family occsaions - the usual birthdays, day trips out etc.

NO PETS though!

Am outvoted M-F in our house, 3 to one, do don't do as much feminine as masculine!
Holiday-wise also consistently hard to find nice ski-ing-related stash, not just ready-made embellishments- would appreciate any advice on this one? xx

I've picked a few things here, but most themes will be useful at some time, I suppose (just trying to make it easy for my sender!). I have less of a preference for religious, pets and heritage.

I mainly scrap my travels, and flora and fauna ... as I don't tend to take all that many photos of people and have no kids!

Mind you I'm a 'traveller' rather than a 'tourist'; I tend to avoid tripper locations and places and have only be on a package holiday a few times as a kid. So general travel bits that can fit that and not too american would be appreciated (although I know its hard to find ... from my own searching!!).

My main hobby is Guiding (amongst my hats I run a Brownie Unit) so do various outdoor things with that and lots of my friends are in Scouting/ Guiding so I head off camping with them quite often. So outdoors stuff is probably another theme to look for.

I live by the sea, but this is Portsmouth and not some tropical island (despite us having a micro climate!). So seaside stuff is good as long as it can say 'British seaside' rather than 'florida/ tropical island seaside'. Its also good for growing up photos as I've never lived more than 8 miles from the sea!!!

Whilst I dabble in some of the other categories, I probably have more than enough bits to cover them!!

I don't really buy themed stash

eta: Actually - tell a fib - if it's halloweeny, skulls/black cats/skeletons/spider webs I can't get enough of that type of stuff.

Only boys in my family, apart from me so I like masculine, children themes. Also my big project for 2009 and will be to scrap the 300!!!!!!!! yikes pics I took on a trip to australia so anything with a travel/Oz theme would be fantastic.

I am not that into themed stash except maybe for Christmas but I have enough of that! I have put down boy themed as that is mostly what I scrap but not baby boy themed, and I really dislike heritage themed things!

I have chosen a few things, but dont really buy themed stuff as such. Well, if you include kawaii (cute Japanese and Korean stuff), owls, birds, deer, dogs, skulls kind of stuff as themes then I do! Hope that makes sense!
