You say you like brown for scrapping - what other colours do you like I love browns and creams and at the moment i'm loving the colour orange but really i love all bright colours blues, greens, yellow, I also like dark clours such as dark reds/purples - i don't like pastel colours or pale pinks/mauves.
Are you a pink girl at heart like Mrs Claus? I'm a girly girl (love shoes and handbags) but not a pink girl (i'm not a fan of the colour unless it's hot pink/cerise - don't like baby pink)
Would you like a scrapping present on Christmas day or non-scrapping? a scrapping present please
What adhesives do you use? repositionable herma and thin double sided tape (oh and didi glue dots!)
Do you like journalling? i love journalling :wub:
Any particular manufacturers you like or dislike? ummm...i love crate paper, scenic route, october afternoon, bo bunny, love elsie, sasafrass, anything really - i don't like basic grey
Do you read? i love to read (mostly crime fiction) although never seem to have enough time!

I have a Cuttlebug and most of the embossing folders :rolleyes: I have basic dies like the concentric ones and the cat one, paisley and a heart shape one, then nestabilites as well.

I mostly use acrylic paints but I'll play with anything

4 What's your favourite season
Emm I like the colder months (like being cosy :D) so Autumn/Winter

5 What music do you like
I change my mind lots but things I have on my playlist at the mo, Vampire Weekend, The Verve (Forth the newest one), The Streets new album and Arcade Fire.

6 Favourite animal
Anything fluffy :lol: I guess I'm most partial to kit cats and bunnies :D

You've been a good girl this year and I would like to find some very special gifts for you this year. Earlier I was over with the elves in the messy workshop - that's where they mix paint and ink and all good stuff ... they tell me that they have a list with your name on it but Gilbert spilled lime green paint on it & now they can't read it! (and Gilbert is a level 4 elf so he should know better!)

Please could you help old Santa out by reminding me which colours of Cats Eye ink pads you have and/or whether there are any you would particularly like?
Also what colours of acrylic paint you are wanting

What is on your scrapping wishlist?

Glad I checked this thread now, wasn't expecting to hear from Santa so soon! :) Very pleased to answer your questions for you.....

I only have black, brown and white journalling pens, so any other colours would be fab.
My favourite colour, hmmmm, I have lots! But usually green, brown, grey and blue are the colours I wear and the colours I like to scrap.
A scrapping Christmas Day present would be awesome, but honestly I would be happy whatever Santa decides!
I have a pet rabbit, so that would have to be my favourite animal. Although I recently went whale watching so I'm a bit obsessed with those too at the moment.

Good - of course I'm being good :)

what brand chocolate do you like?I like Lindt, Green & Blacks & Thorntons most - but I will eat Cadbury too - I'm not keen on Galaxy or Belgian chocolates (but OH will eat them if I don't like them!)

notice you like punches, what ones have you already got?I have lots - do I really need to list them all? I have corner rounders, lots of mini punches, several of the daisy shaped flowers, just about every size circle, scalloped circle in 1", 2" & 3", the threading water, ribbon slot and a couple of other Fiskers punches. I don't think you can afford the bigger punches or a round it all!
If you want me to be more precise, let me know & I'll do a full list of everything I have!

are you more of a traditional christmas person or a more morderny christmas person? That's a really hard question! Christmas for me is very quiet - just me & my Dad & brother - we don't really do much. I suppose personally I have to say that I like non-commercial Christmas - I prefer to focus on the religious side than the commercial stuff. I have a little tree full of ornaments which don't match at all but are full of memories - I often buy an ornament when I visit somewhere etc. I have a lot of glass & wood on there, but it is very mixed. I suppose in many ways I'm quite traditional but I have no preference on colours - Christmas can be red & gold or blue & silver or lime green & orange! Father Christmas is ok - but I go for the more old-fashioned images not the modern "santa" images.

Do you ever use eyelets? I do use eyelets but I have quite a lot of "ordinary" ones - something different would be welcome though ...

what kind of bling do you like? I'm not really a blingy type person but I'm trying to use it more - I guess I use those little self-adhesive gemstones most - and mostly in clear, but I wouldn't mind trying some in other colours - I'd love some black/grey type ones if they exist. I don't need glitter, but flock would be nice.

The elves have been so busy, watching you all year, but still they have made a mess, so thats why i am here....

Hello Bridget.Williams.... Santa here saying Hello... i have afew questions to ask if would kindly help me say hohoho.....

The elves have been so busy, watching you all year, but still they have made a mess, so thats why i am here....

They let the reindeers in one night, and what a mess they made, dear old rudolf bless his socks, i think he drank to much brandy and beer..:D

So heres my questions to you dear, please sit down and read when you have a minute....

I will ask a few to start me off but maybe back before my dinner ^_^

Right heres my little list, please do not be affraid, santa here and his elves do have to stalk you dear...

1. I hear you have 3 boys, could you tell me more about these..... and if this includes you beautiful blues what names have they, and are they aloud a few treats? Santa, my boys are Mr Williams and the two beautiful blue boys - Billy and Georgie. All three are allowed a few treats, of course

2. I see you like to scrap the boys so here i ask you now.... i know what colours you use the most, but are there more to add?? Anything but pink, really, Santa. I love reds and blacks and earthy colours and coffees and creams and ......

3. I see you would like handmade embellies, and felt would be your choice, do have anything specific or does anything and any colours go? Anything would go, Santa. I would just appreciate that you and Mrs Claus had taken the time to sit and make things for me. That is very kind.
4. I also see you like to stitch on lo's is this by hand or machine?if by machine would you like to have materials that would help you handstitch these? Alas that my stitching is neat enough to look machine done. It is all by hand and I am always running out of floss, especially black, white, cream and brown

5. I see you'd like some paint my dear what colours and sort would you like? I only have red, turquoise, cream and white, so anything else would be a bonus

6. I heard aswell from down the shop that you like swirls and flourishes and also journalling stamps... now do you have any in particular you would like or do i need not to worry... as santa has a few in mind but needs to know what youhave before hand? Santa, anything would be everso appreciated - but a scalloped edge circle journalling stamp would cause me to be extra good for the rest of the year!

7. I see you havent filled in the smellies is that due to you not needing... or if you would like santa to travel to the smelly workshop what sorts would you like smells or any specifics? I've got loads of smellies, so would rather Santa sent something else - but thank you for asking!

* i have a couple left not long before ive done...

8. Sorry i need to get this right my dear so i ask you this little question what colours are your faveourite and do you like socks, scraves and glovies? If so santa has a few in mind but needs to know your footsize! Golly I only wear black, grey, khaki/greens or red out of the house (well, everything co-ordinates!), so anything for outdoors would need to be one of those colours. For indoors, I'd be delighted with sky blue pink bedsocks, or anything fun like that. I have hoooooge size 8 feet.

9. I ask you this as we all know girls like to have nice things so do you like bag charms or hair accesories or dont you need any of these? if so what sort would you like or do you use? I can often be found elbowing the little girls out of the way in Claire's accessories, as I love little things for my hair (shoulder length and blonde-ish - okay, mainly grey but out of a bottle!). Also (not quite a bag charm) the horrible men who burgled our house stole my favourite key ring. A new key ring would be lovely!

10. Last but not least im nearly done the last is here as follows.....do you like candles if so which names and which smells are you fave? Santa, nothing floral, but anything clean and citrussy. That would be lovely!

Right i will answer the following questions for you...

As for the inks etc santa i am not to fussed as what colours you buy as the more the merrier i think hee hee... but as for the chalks i would like some browns/blues if you could please santa...

No santa you can put some prezzies in some smellies etc.... as i do love a good soak even though the majority of the time i have a shower... it makes it extra special when i do get in the bath!

Oh my little furbaby snuff is allowed some treats..... we also have a nother furbaby called lottie...... shes is also allowed some treats!

Yes santa i like choccie oranges..... but not the dark choccie and no nuts please...

I dont really like sherbet... but if santa pops some in my Oh would be more than happy im sure hee hee he likes them..

If i had to choose a fave colour it would be the colour you wear santa the lovely colour red!

I do read a lot. Not as much for pleasure as I'd like to but I try to. I'm really into Jane Austen at the moment. Which reminds me I'm two books missing (nudge nudge wink wink hint hint)

2. What sort of cats do you have, would you be able to tell
me their names? and are they allowed treats for
Christmas?

They're both british short haired. Tinkerbell is tortoiseshell and white and Roxy is black and white. Roxy has gorgeous blue eyes (I think they might be in my gallery). They are allowed treats for christmas. Though they're little terrors so expect treats all the time

3. Do you do any puzzles, sudoku etc?

Not really. My favourite way to relax is watching football (as you already know) or playing the flute

4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing
you would buy?

A house for my mum and dad

5. Do you wear gloves, socks, slippers? If so what size?

can never have enough socks!! I'm a size five.

4. do you have a die cutting machine and are die cuts on your wish list at all? I have a Sizzix Big Shot and tag a long. Some die cut alphabets would be great, and perhaps die-cut Christmas things (baubles, tree etc)

Do you read and what is your favourite author/s?I LOVE to read - I read very quickly & get through books by the hundred! Most of my books come from charity shops or the "3 for £5" type shelves at The Works so I get whatever I see - I read too many to buy books at full price! I don't like SciFi or Mills & Boon type romances but other than that am open to anything - I suppose I tend to prefer biographies, historic novels, Murder Mystery and true life or other "people stories" but I read chick-lit too! For "easy reading" I read stuff like Maeve Binchey, Nora Roberts, Annie Murray, Rosie Harris - I suppose I do like books about people & their stories, whether fact or fiction ... I don't really have a favourite author, but recently I've read stuff from Sam Bourne, Phillippa Gregory and Jodi Picoult among others. I haven't read any of the Phillip Pullman books, or M C Beaton's "Agatha Raisin" books but quite fancy them ... I haven't bought new books for a while & have no idea of what's on the shelves in the supermarkets etc at present - I won't have read it! I am happy to receive books that have been pre-read if that helps :)

Whats your favourite smell? I like smells like vanilla, cinnamon, almond, berry or citrus - I'm not really into musk or floral types smells. My all time favourite Yankee Candle is Buttercream - smells good enough to eat!

Favourite colour?not pastels! I'm not a pink girly type either. My ultimate favourite colours are gunmetal/pewter & true indigo however they are not very common to find! For wearing I prefer black, grey, navy, red, blue & the rich jewel colours like emerald, ruby & amethyst. For scrapping I use a lot of earthtones/autumn colours (kraft, browns, greens, cream, deep reds, tan) - I love earthtones but they look dreadful on me to wear.

What shoes size are you? between a 5 & 6 - as most things don't come in 1/2 sizes I usually go down to a 5 for slippers etc that stretch & up to a 6 for stiffer shoes that don't!

Do you wear gloves and scarfs?I don't really wear scarves, but gloves are always good.

Do you like christmas cake? or christmas pudding?Yummmmm.... love christmas pudding :) not had christmas cake for ages as nobody around me likes it - I seem to remember the last lot I ate being over sweet with the icing but willing to try it. I adore marzipan

cream or custard?custard - I do like a little cream, but custard wins every time!

What would be your ideal christmas day present from me?that's a really difficult question! I suppose if I think about it really hard I think I would really like something to keep me from getting bored over Christmas when I'm at my Dad's (that doesn't require lots of equipment etc, unless I know I need to take it with me!) - it doesn't have to be scrappy - a puzzle to solve or a book to read or a model to make or a game to play ... anything but endless bouts of Christmas TV!! Having said that, something scrappy would be good too - I haven't bought much for me all year so am very out of touch with the latest trends/products etc.

1. You say you like milk chocolate, any kind in particular? I love galaxy chocolate but any milk chocolate will do me!!
2. what kind of alcohol do you like? Love pernod(bit expensive) but do enjoy alcopops or a nice glass of rose wine.
3. Do you like boy and girl themes stash? (for los of your kiddies) yes i do as long as they arent too babyish.

Yippie!!!!! I feel like I'm 5 years old again! Logged on at lunch time and I now have such a grin! I promise to try and be a very good girl santa :D:D:D

1. Do you have a favourite type of coffee? herbal tea?
I'm not a fan of 'flavoured' coffee, but not adverse to tring something different if you have any recommendations. Usually I stick to a good quality ground coffee. Herbal tea, I go for the fruity ones with a slight spice, but I don't like strawberry.

2. Do you have any children? If so, are they allowed a treat?
Nope, no children as yet.... DP constitutes as one in his own right!!!! :wub:

3. You say you like stitching... is this stitching on layouts? Cross stitching?
Both! Have a thing for cross stitch and would love to try stumpwork. Know Bazzil have come up with stitching on LO's but haven't tried that as yet

4. Is there any particular colours of glitter glue that you want? Paint?
Any! My ex partner got all my acrylics when we split, so don't have any now :( glitter, I keep looking at stickles, but never buy any. Purples, coppers, greens tend to get the most use, as do reds.

5. You like punches... what sort of punch would you like?
Any! Really, I only own a heart one, keep having to borrow from a friend :( Would love one of the large tag ones or a cat one.

6. What kind of embellies do you like?
I tend to use metallic ones, jewels on occasions, not really a ribbon fan but eyelets and brads rock! chipboard swirls and felt stuff too :D

7. Do you like bling?
Oh yes :D

8. What is your favourite colour?
Beetle green :D

9. I know you like Yankee candles... do you like the christmas range?
Love it! Like quite spicy scents, but vanilla is a staple

(and Gilbert is a level 4 elf so he should know better!)

I love embossing my cards atm and I would like to have ago at stamping but don't know where to start. I have 9 rubber stamps which I bought in 2005 which have possibly been used once or twice and 7 inks but just don't know what to do or where to go from here so perhaps ideas etc for stamping the ones i have are the wooden rubber stamps so i am lacking something here to put my brain into gear.

1. Im would love a scrapping pressie on xmas day, but Id be happy with anything really! Hubby hates me crafting so never buys me anything to do with crafting!
2. Love buttons but use plain ones mainly not into shaped ones unless they are squares/triangles, I really dont like novelty shaped buttons! Any colours would be appreciated but smallish ones would be perfect as I use them as centres on flowers on layouts mainly!
3. Dont have too many cats eyes, mainly pink/red, maroons would love any colours besides pink!

OK , to answer your questions ...

Fave colours to scrap.... now this is quite a difficult one ... on one hand I love bright , bold , funky colours but I also love autumnal colours .... browns , creams, greens , muted yellow colours ... I guess the safest thing to say is the autumnal colours . The only colour combinations I dont really like are primary colours together ... red, yellow, blue ... oh I am waffling now ... sorry !

Fave colours to wear .... well as you many know I am a 'big' girl ... mainly wear dark colours . Live in blue or black jeans and usually dark tops , but do like to wear bright coloured tops sometimes too, especially bright pink and lime greens !
However ... socks ... love them all , bright dark , patterned , plain , spots stripes...

Candles - prefer fruity fragrances - apple, orange , lime , lemon or relaxing fragrances like lavender .
Re Yankee Candles I mainly use the little candles.

Jewellery - I wear very little ... daily I wear just my eternity ring , a pretty but very subtle bracelet and a necklace with a lovely Welsh gold Nevern cross. I do have some other 'special' jewellery but that doesnt get worn very often . Like jewellery but as I say just dont wear much .

I LOVE Christmas Santa and am such a BIG kiddie , very excitable, so of course it would be lovely to get some Christmassy things !

Ooooo I would LOVE a scrapping pressie for Christmas Day as I dont think there will be any , or many , other scrapping goodies so that would be really extra special .

I seem to have quite a few candles at the moment, not something I use too much. I love christmas too but don't tend to decorate the house now because it's only me and Bruin so it never really seems worth it, but last year I did get a small black christmas tree which i just put lights on. I'm thinking I might make some decorations for that all in pink, as I love pink and black together, so anything in pink i could put on the tree would be lovely.

1. Do you own a Cuttlebug? I dont have a cuttlebug - I have got a cricut for christmas - got it a ltitle early and am loving it - dh is taking it away from me anytime soon to sent to lapland - boo hoo. I also have a big shot which I use cuttlebug embossing pouches in - I have the following

2. Do you have a particular colour scheme/favourite colour you like to scrap with? I experiment with different colours - I love chocolates, caramels, raspberries 0 there I go thinking of my tummy again - lol

I have also got a bit of a thing at the mo for zingy colour touches - black or white with bits of zingy lime green in. DOnt do yellow very well and for some reason even though I love the colour purple I don't seem to be able to scrap very well with it

Do love pinks esp for little girly layouts - most colours are fab but as I say not really yellow and purple - the main thing is texture - dont do thin floppy papermania paper if you know what I mean


3. Do you do little princess pages for your daughter and is she a typical pink girly? Oops just answered that havent I - yep girly princess with a twist - she has a brother so we often see her getting up to mischief but then she does that little girly melty thing - yep deffo pink princess

4. Do you do typical boy pages for your son? I'm thinking traditional boy patterned papers, blues,red and greens all the bold colours etcyep - anything - that way - do most colours for him apart from girly pink and lilac lol!

5. Are your children into anything ie ballet, karate etc or hobbies they like? The both do wait for it - from one extreme to another - irish dancing to kick boxing - they are 4 and 6 (girl then boy)

Hi Santa, I did reply to you I promise, I was so excited to see your message it was almost straight away!! (page 2) But don't worry, I will copy what I wrote for you :)....


I only have black, brown and white journalling pens, so any other colours would be fab.
My favourite colour, hmmmm, I have lots! But usually green, brown, grey and blue are the colours I wear and the colours I like to scrap.
A scrapping Christmas Day present would be awesome, but honestly I would be happy whatever Santa decides!
I have a pet rabbit, so that would have to be my favourite animal. Although I recently went whale watching so I'm a bit obsessed with those too at the moment.

And your question above, it would be great to receive mostly stash presents if possible, and would prefer no smellies. I would love perhaps a new stamp or two, and alphas, stickers and rubons are always useful. I am sure I'd be happy with anything though, I like to use all sorts of interesting things and all sorts of colours on my LOs! :) Oh, and ANYTHING Christmassy is good too!

Now, what would make my heart sing? Almost anything I think. I love all things girly (as I have two of them!), I love cardmaking, so stamps, inks, cards etc. My scrapbooking tends to be rather plain and simple but that's 'cos I can't bear to use lovely stuff! I must drop that habit.
Non crafty, I love my feet and hands to be warm and I own about 8 or 9 pairs of slipper - love 'em
Things I hate - jelly, pineapple, and sp**ers, horible creepy things. I hope this helps.

Right, anyway...
I don't wear much make up day-to-day, although what I do have mostly comes from the Body Shop. I do love lip gloss and lip balms though.
I read lots of girly 'chick-lit' type novels in bed, so any of those would be great! And magazines are good too.
I must confess to not having much patience at all when I see papers I like, I usually just buy them straight away. I did have some Pink Paislee Vintage Moon in a kit though and have used them all up, so would appreciate some more! Or anything by October Afternoon, I got through the few I had very quickly.
I do use chalk inks a lot, and mine are all looking a bit worse for wear so any would be great.
I would use pretty much any embellishment - absolutely anything! Use lots of ribbons and buttons, and I also like completely random things sometimes. The one thing I have never found much use for though is eyelets.
I make all sorts of cards, not really sure of anything specific, but I'd be happy with anything!

More questions Santa, missed them last night as I actually did some scrapping and less lurking!

Answers.
1. Blue and Gold with sentimental ones thrown in. I'm OTT although DH would like me to be minimalist.:lol:
2.I'm allergic to nickel so only really wear gold and silver I'm afraid. I like earrings best as I've long hair and wear it up at work.
3. Live in Scotland so socks are a must. Have most types TBH, black for work, coloured for weekends and fluffy for bed when DH away. Some coloured ones would be nice for my jeans as they are getting a bit low.
4. DH is an Alexander known as Zander. Unfortunately he has expensive hobby likes. He is computer and gadget mad. We have more games consoles than you should be allowed as well as PC's. Hence I know more about the merits of PS3 and Xbox 360's than I really should. Chocolate is a yes though.

fave TV programmes are the bill, casualty and home and away (sad I know) also love family guy. fave film anything with colin firth
don't do to much reading always fall asleep and have a lot to do for work but do like jane austin
cookings cool especially cup cakes
like most foods not too kean on fish and carrots
don't reallu do jewellery to lazy to rememebr to wear it but when I do it is usually anything sparkly

I like spicy and fruity, i am not keen on flowery things, i love cinnamon and christmas scents and if it helps i have a yankee candle tart burner to really like the tarts apposed to candles :)

I like big chunky unusual things, bracelet and necklaces, i wear earrings occassionally but normally studs not big dangly ones

Oh my word - what a question Santa! I don't know what to say. :wacko: I love cardstock weight papers especially BG, Fancy Pants and Scenic Route but I have loads of those already. I have however recently bought some of the gorgeous MME Laundry Line papers and I think I'd like to get some more of that sometime. I bought paper from the 'Flirty' and 'Sundress' collections but fancy some of the 'Coastal' or 'Natural' collection. But I'd really be happy with anything - can always find a use stash. :)

Do you have any other family members who would like to be included in the parcel?

I have three children - 14,10 and 4 who I'm sure would love to be included but wouldn't expect to be so wouldn't be disappointed if they weren't either.

Do you wear jewellery?

Yes, I wear necklaces and bracelets sometimes.

Yes, socks and gloves are good.

umm ... I guess I could give painting a picture a go - I'd prob enjoy painting it for a couple of hours but I'm not sure it would be top of my list :) I did a paint by numbers thing years ago & it looked awful - all blotchy splodges of colour with no blending or anything between the colours, but maybe they've changed?
I think they'd look better coloured with watercolour pencils & blended but not sure you'd cover the "black lines" that way :)
So in short - it wouldn't be top of my list but I could probably enjoy it for a couple of hours ...

Ho ho ho, well I am slowly but surely being dragged into this 21st Century lark. I am snowed under with work at the moment, so delegated the parcel packing and despatching to one of my new elves this morning. Well you know the saying if you want a job doing right do it yourself? Well a truer word was never said in jest!

To start with having told me that everything was in your box and ready for sending, I had a quick scout at his workdesk and found 4 items still on the back of his desk, I was not amused I tell you, but he muttered something about not putting human presents in the same package as animal ones, something to do with cross-contamination or some other rubbish.

So I gave him another chance and said to redeem himself he could deliver the box (which is now a box and a small package!) personally to yourself and that he could take Rudolf for a run whilst he was at it. Well can you imagine the cheek of the elf? He came back with a receipt for an arm and a leg for delivery by something called PARCELFORCE for the large box and ordinary post for the 2nd package. He then concocted some story about running into the chap at the weighbridge who informed him that Rudolf was overloaded, so he needed to return to the depot. The elf then told me he used his initiative by going to the post office, apparently he had been talking to a chap in the pub the night before who had recommended it.
Apparently Parcelforce is guaranteed within 4 working days, so should be with you no later than Friday.

Now I have the job of taking Rudolf out myself for his run, another job to add to the neverending list :wacko:

In his defence, he has marked both packages with a notice to say "PLEASE KNOCK LOUDLY"

Please let me know when it arrives, as I will worry until it does, oh dear more grey hairs!
