I was reading this post and I too would be very much interested in the documents you have. I have tried to use the inks but find all I can do is make a mess with h them.
Thank you

I've used them a lot on acetate and mirri card to make (usually rather splodgy) backgrounds. They're also very useful for colouring metal so you can use them to colour plain metallic brads and metal charms. But I'd also be interested in any new techniques too.

The technical term is "bung 'em on anything" lol. Just play and the result is usually fantastic - don't mix them too much or they go like mud. allow them to run, spread and merge - tip your paper, item, acetate etc so that they move.

A little bird told me that some people even use them on fruit! How weird is that!!!? :)

They are great used with UTEE too, you get a lovely glazed finish to some gorgeous colours.

I'm about to alter a leather writing case with my alcohol inks. Makes a change from altering my hands....i had to buy a huge box of latex gloves to avoid having "wild plum" covered hands all week!

I have the Ranger Luminous Metallics Inkabilities Inks, bought in 19 oatcake!
Does anyone know if they're the same as alcohol inks?
I've searched the internet to try and find out but no luck.

i've been playing with my alcohol inks, with the tutorial from Dan didn't think I could go wrong. BUT this morning my DS said - what you painted on that acetate mom, looks like congealed blood. :(

Not quite the effect I had in mind. Think I need to get some different colours as I now think he is right after a 2nd glance.

Lou the Posh Metallic Inkabilities aren't the same as they are water soluble.

Cantstopstampin if anyone want some more colours we have a great multibuy offer here (http://www.cre8tiveonline.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=147_320) :D
