OK, I have been fooling around with this since I saw Tim Holtz' August Technique on his blog (http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/08/august-techniqu.html). While doing it his way, it occured to me that the Sharpie markers may have similar properties to the Archival Ink pads so I grabbed one and had a go.
It worked :)
I can think of a few ideas for how you could use this technique, and a few variations (like using Tim's technique of stamping off, but then colouring in the white areas with the Sharpie) and it is probably of limited use in the end, but it was interesting to [play around with and someone else may have a stellar idea for using it - in which case they should share it with a photo!
