Hi Martha

Firstly, why are you changing it, is the old one damage? If you are using the carrier sheet then you never cut onto the teflon mat so it shouldn't need changing.

If you are cutting vinyl or flock then you will probably need to change it once it gets damaged or your cutting depth seems erratic.

To change it is simple. Firstly peel the old cuttiong strip off and make sure the bed is clean and dry.

Remove the cutter and slide the head all the wayover to the left (with power off). Peel about one inch of the backing paper off the new strip and fold back. Now, lay the strip in position and stick down the end that has the adhesive exposed. Slowly peel away the backing pressing the strip down as you go.Try to keep it straight without any kinks. It is just like laying down double sided tape.

Once you get close to the centre, slide the head over to the other side and finish off the rest of the strip.

It is much easier than I have made it sound
