Hi Tanya
I did have a list... but I lost it LOL!
We will have a fairly large stand, so its worth coming along if just to stroke our stock
There's also a goody bag and demo's... so I've been told!

OH no only just seen this!!!! No money as pay day is not until the end of next week :( Still might have to come and say hi to you tomorrow though as I love Scrapshed and BG for £10 per pack might be too hard to resist......
Shame this has not been publisised more down here as we never get anything happening normally so hope that just by coming along tomorrow I might ensure that it can happen again!

I've only just spotted this too - I would love to go but it would have to the one weekend that DH and my Mum are both away (thought not together ) and I'm not sure how the kids will react if I suggest it! I'll see what they say in the morning - some form of bribery may be in order....

 Clare! Might see you there then, shame that there was not more advertising about this further afield - guessing there might have been more Maidstone way! They don't know how far us scrappers will travel and this to us is on our doorstep!

I didn't know anything about it either - and I drive past there on my way to Sarah's a couple of times a week!
I'm only a few miles from Maidstone - and no - it hasn't been well publicised round here!

I've not seen any advertising either - it's only that I saw the banner as I drove past yesterday. Promised to go out to lunch with my Dad today though  Kids would have loved it. I hope they do it again!

Not the biggest fayre ever I have to say but did not stop me spending some money ! Most of which was with Scrapshed - think the entrance fee was a bit steep when you think Ally Pally is only £5 but hopefully this is just the start of better things and with support this will get bigger and better!
I did ask about the advertising and they said they were in Papercraft Inspiraitons (not Scrapbook Inspiriations ) and all the main craft mags! Said I saw most of them at work and had not seen it at all, they do not have a mailing list either as I asked to be added to it so that I did not miss one again. Just a shame they did not let us know about the classes they had there too as I would have structured my day differently but had to get home as I did not think DH would appreciate me staying all day !
Let's hope they learn from this one and that there is a next one that is even better! We need something like this in Kent!

I agree Helen - the entry fee was extortionate considering what they had on offer - but i did manage to spend a lot with Scrapshed as well, and got a Scrapagogo June kit.
Felt a bit sorry for the stalls in between the 2 main shop areas - especially the woodturning people.

When were you there Carolyn? I did not leave until about 1.15pm so sorry if I missed you!
TBH it was not the best layout and agree the woodturning people and also the jewellery in the first room probably did not do very well today. Did not realise you could buy the kits from Scrapagogo unless you agreed to sign up for a subscription! :( Shame cause I loved the May one!

Hi Ladies!
We are just back home now and unloading the van (that's the royal we LOL), It was lovely seeing you all over the last two days, we appreciate your custom.
The organisers are doing another similar event, only bigger, somewhere else in Kent. They did tell me, but I don't know Kent so it meant nothing to me... something like Darjeeling?
Anyway, must go and show willing with the van!

Bigger that will be MUCH better! Could it be DETLING there is a big showground there that they use for the county show each year amongt other things so that would be a goodie as long as the weather is OK!
Great to have got a face to put to the name and will be along after pay day.....

Hello Ladies - it was lovely to meet some of you today :)
The organisers told me that they are having a Scrapbook and Craft show in a set area when the Kent Show is on next year - Detling sounded about right :D

Is it going to be WITHIN the Kent Show, or AT the Kent Show Ground. There are a couple of craft fairs (ones where crafters show their wares rather than shops selling goodies) that go on there already. Be great if it was a show in its own right.

From Janice's post (no 25) it seems it will be part of the Kent Show.
Janice

As I understood it, they were talking of 'within' the Kent Show :)
If we have any clarification we will certainly let you know - but its not till next year :(
