Thanks for starting this thread Cal

I made this card using the yummy Carte Postale set and A La Carte wheel.
I stamped the word Bonjour on Vanilla cardstock then clear embossed, and then used an ink pad to add colour.

Here is one i made last night i did put it in male cards but also qualifies for stamping up
the boat and sentiment is stamping up
the paper is DCWV and the circle sentiment is stamps away, a bit of a mix i know but the main focal points are stamping up

Here's one of mine http://bp1.blogger.com/_7OLD8EynZ24/SFDD3boWSEI/AAAAAAAAANA/TqZVUh5hyfg/s1600-h/ptw-24-%26-funky-fairies-241.jpg

Nope, it's not working although I have followed the instructions given here http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/showthread.php?t=227197

Hm Bryn, I've tried to have a go with your link too, but think it's possibly due to the path being quite long/complex and containing characters such as %... If you can't get it to work using the img tags method, just attach your images to the thread in future. I'll go update my post in case others have the same issue. :)

Wow, some gorgeous cards posted! Hope this works this time!

http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa37/bevvie21/Embrace-Life-200408.jpg

I used the Embrace Life set on this card, stamped on to vellum then heat embossed with gold ep, then flipped over and coloured the back of the flowers with Tombow pens

I used the Blooming with Happiness set on this card (the sentiment is also from that set)

Wow - stunning cards !!!

I've just added a request to the first post - could everyone please let us know what items you have made in the creation of your cards. That way, any newbies will know what they are looking for, and how other things such as punches etc. work.

Thanks xxxxxxxx

Hi,

Stunning cards everyone, Bev can I ask what stamp sets you used please.

I used the Blooming with happiness set on the umbrella card (the sentiment is also from that set), and the floral one is the set Embrace Life. I stamped the flowers on to vellum and heat embossed with gold ep then coloured the back of the vellum

Here are a couple of mine, I did post them in the SG coz I forgot designs go here... DOH!!
The flower one was a "case" of one of Monika's from her blog, although by the time I had finished apart from the scallops and flowers doesn't really look the same at all, the set is Touch of Nature. The pickup one is the Loads of Love set.

Gorgeous cards everyone!
Here are a couple from me :)
The 1st one is using the fab 'in the spotlight' hostess set with old olive, bordering blue and close to cocoa ink pads, bordering blue cardstock embossed with swiss dots and some paper from the DCWV spring stack.
The 2nd is using the little bird from 'touch of nature', the bg stamp is by Anita's though. Green cardstock is SU too, mellow moss?

No to this, I'm afraid.

Keep in mind that SU is NOT a sponsor of UKS. While it's one thing to let this thread continue to let people share their cards and for everyone to see lovely work, it is quite another to back-door promotion of SU on UKS.

The other thread are connected to particular stamp lines sold by a variety of sponsors (or at least the CAN be sold by a variety of sponsors) while SU! is handled through consultants - which may not advertise on UKS except as sponsors (like Monica).

I am trying to be reasonable here, which is why the thread was allowed, but if it turns into a huge SU promotion, and not just of the stamps but of all their products then I will have to take a hard line and close and remove the thread and not allow a new one to be created.

To avoid any confusion I am going to close this thread and begin a new one with the rules in it.
