Hi Fifi
I LOVE your card and I'm dying to know what the stamp is and what embossing powder you've used but I can't seem to get the page on your blog to load for me - any other one is fine but it just seems to be this one (maybe its just me!!).
thanks

I have just finished creating 50 of these! They were very much inspired by MargieS (see above) who has kindly allowed me to 'cardlift' if you can call it that - thanks Margie.
What a nightmare the heat embossing was! I could not get the stamp to give a clear image so had to colour parts in with a versamark pen, very fiddly. x x

they're beautiful - well done.
I remember when I made some for a friend I had to heat emboss the image - never again! My heat gun kept cutting out to cool down and like you I had to use a versamark pen too. I made 150 and was sooooooooooooooooo glad to see the back of them. I think I even threw the stamp away afterwards so I couldn't be reminded of it!
Your guests will be lucky to receive these

thank you Denise!!
Wow, your invites are really great, I am just starting 150 for my sister in law, will post when finished, but they really dont compare:love:

Anyone help me with a card blank sourcing question? A firend is getting married and making her own invites. She's seen a card idea she's quite taken by, but it's cut from A3 rather than A4 cs.
I'll try and describe it! It's a square format when closed, but opens up into three, with the bottom section forming a wallet-style enclosure (so you can pop in address details, directions, gift list info etc).
Any ideas?

They are usually called pocket or wallet card blanks.. you can get then online or in the big blue craft store.. they are lovely but I haven't decided if it would be easier to buy the banks or make them HTH
