I finnished my teacher training today! YAY TO ME!! So last night I made Thank You cards for the Teachers who had helped me the most.

I have used my Martha Stewart doily lace punch, a gorgeous bird stamp from Inkadinkado Birds Galore set, and loads of gems.

Cor blimey Tracey, love the paper frill technique achieved with the punch - the colours are so striking together - really chic and trendy! Is the birdie a stamp? If so whose? :D

Susie, can you link to your blog entry that has the thank you card image in it? You're such a prolific card maker on your blog I can't see which card you were linking to with your original post here. If you can share the image using the img tags, even better. :)

Jan, great idea for a card! I tried a mini-accordian style birthday card ones, but this looks like a fun alternative to try!

The manager of the housing scheme I live in asked me to make 2 Thank You cards for 2 residents who had each achieved success with a project for the benefit of all of us. Here's the result of cards which are basically the same but look quite different using a different livery.

The idea was for the cards to be taken to all the residents who would sign it. I don't like people writing on my cards, few of us have decent penmanship, so I designed a card with a pocket in which a small notebook I made could be housed, and people could write their messages in that. The pcket on Andy's card is a bit big so the booklet is a bit lost, but you can see it if you look hard
