.. his major interest is pistol shooting and he is very talented and has participated in several internal competitions. Now he has also met a nice girl with the same interests and I wanted my card to show a romantic bulls eye. Layout of card inspired by Monica from the SU card thread.

Used several QK circles on top of each other, a brad with a heart, tiny arrows from the QK clock and QK Maggie. Patterned paper somes from a pad called s.e.i. Dill Blossom paper stack.

Thanks for looking and sorry - I have not yet mastered the img-thing.

Card for at b-day to a gentleman who is into making honey and applecider. Lucky me he did not also collect stamps - not sure where I would have incorporated that! LOL My lovely QK dies did most of the work - took some time to train the bee to do "skye writing" but at last it worked to my satisfaction. No idea when or where I bought the bee-ribbon and not why either - but JUST what I needed here. Thanks for looking.

Ok I'm going to be brave and post some of my cards here, only the second time I've done this so here goes....

Had to make some male cards for the weekend (can't believe I have used peel offs!!!!!!!)

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n38/biscuitlid/cards/birthdaycardbluespinner.jpg

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n38/biscuitlid/cards/nestiescircles30thblue.jpg

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n38/biscuitlid/cards/30thgoldandpeeloffseeeeek.jpg

The blue spinner was done using nestabilities and plasma card I got from the NEC a few years ago, hanging on silver thread so it sins round when card opens. An idea I stole with pride from a friend of mine.

The blue 30th card uses a selection of nestabilities cut out at random with the matching sized pieces stuck inside the card. I used a foam stamp I got free with a mag ages ago.

The black one not only uses peel offs (my pet dislike I'm afraid) but I also smuggled in a bit of Bibster acetate ...ssshhhhhh don't tell anyone I used it!

Our "Jack-of-all-trades" just turned 30 and this is his card. He organized lunch for everybody (but seems to stick with the same food himself), drinks Coca Cola, takes care of all the outgoing mail and all the other stuff we just couldn't live without someone doing for us. AND he recently bought his very first NEW car, a tiny blue one. This is his card from all of us. 30 and the car is metallic - but it doesn't show here.
A salami sandwich this time with fried onions. Used the base of the wagon KS-0321 as a mailcontainer. Used 10 QK dies and a couple of punches.

I used the QK hiking boots and tried to alter them into soccer/football shoes. They look a bit BIG - but I wanted
to keep the holes for the laces.

I made this card for a work colleagues son whose birthday is tomorrow, unfortunately I design and craft a lot using the cricut and design studio, I never had a cut file for what she wanted so I asked my friend from over the pond to design me the cut file, which she was happy to do. Thank you JenC for your amazing cut file and for taking the time to design it for me, I think the young man for whom it's for will love it, again thank you.

The cut file is designed using 'George and Basic Shapes' now if you would like this cut file you will need to visit JenC's blog (http://jensbrainthings.blogspot.com/)and request it.

I added the finishing touches from the photo Jen sent me for which she designed the cut file on. The Happy Birthday was made using Pooh font, which gives it a great touch.

Hi fellow crafters! Never posted on this part of UKS before, I tend to lurk in the Craft Robo section but have sometimes popped in to see what you are all making.

Anyway thought I would post this card I've just made as, like most people I find inspiration for cards for men difficult. Made this mainly with my Robo but if you have other machines or you are good at cutting out it may be useful as an idea. The recipient is a HGV driver so he has lots of gears!!

I've always found mens cards difficult to do but had a flash of inspiration when doing a card for mt cousin's 50th Birthday. So here it is. The front of the card is shaped but the back is straight sided, it's there just to make the card stand up.As it is made from silver card it didn't photograph very well but I think you will 'get the picture', so to speak!
