I thought we'd try something a little different this month, the challenge is all about taking inspiration from the everyday....
I just love these notebook designs by ecojot. I love the colours and the design style, and the birdies of course!
So your challenge is to pick something that inspires you and use it as the basis for a card!
It could be these notebooks, it could be the colour of your coffee mug, it could be an ad in a magazine, the pattern on your curtains, a saying you've seen somewhere, a piece of artwork, or a new addition to your wardrobe, it could even be that favourite piece of patterned paper you've been hoarding and still don't want to use just yet, anything at all!
Inspiration is how you interpret it, there are no hard and fast rules... So really this should be a nice gentle challenge - there are no restrictions as to how you use it! :D
Just go forth, create and enjoy! :)
Bonus gold stars if you show/tell us what inspired your card too, because we're all nosey!
If at the end of the month there have been 10 or more cards posted here in this thread, then one lucky person will be chosen as a 'winner' and will receive a little goodie through the post courtesy of Julie (stillscrapping) at Scrapbooking Castle (http://scrapbookingcastle.co.uk/store/).
Happy creating!

I have an idea, just waiting on my new inkpads and stamps....
Hmmm. Right then. All I need is some time, some inspiration and some stash and I'm all set LOL! (I can do the stash, the other two elements are a bit trickier!!)

This lovely summer weather is totally blighting my desire to sit indoors and make anything! I had oh such good intentions of doing something today, but ugh... the sun... it is so rare... I must go and worship it for a bit! ;)

A few things have inspired me to make this card.......have just got a summer house and have been enjoying sitting in it and watching the birds on the feeder and watching the garden starting to bloom.
I must admit I don't particularly like birds on scrapbook paper though I have just bought these cute little stamps from Hero arts, there are 6 with different little mesages and I thought they would make cute little cards.
I have put a picture of the insert too - I normally do full size ones but was looking at some cards in the shops and they had small inserts and I thought what a great idea...don't use as much paper either.
I used a scallop punch on the folded paper and didn't push it right in so I still had the fold...then doodled around the edhe and hand wrote the greeting.

Lovely Lynn! I am a huge fan of birdies on cards, I bought a similar HA set too so have been itching to use them. ^_^

They are so sweet.
I was inspired by the need to replenish my emergency card stock this weekend - LOL! Not sure that's quite the inspiration you were seeking, but I did make seven cards!

I thought I was a little uninspired this month, but then created this (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/album.php?albumid=378&pictureid=3386) for my nephew. Took me ages to think it up as Lego isn't the easiest thing to put on a card!!! Just a simple one . . .
What a great lego card!!! :D
I have a new baby granddaughter so am "thinking pink" lol
Here's my effort
