Most people like the Sakura pens, but really anything that fits the holder that you like go for it. A lot of supermarkets do gelpens that don't cost the earth.

I use cheapo glitter gel pens from Woolworths. A large pack only costs about £4.99 and they fit into the standard pen holder. Sometimes they even have them on offer.

Hope this helps

I find the Bic Gel Metallics are really good for Gold and Silver. My problem is they dont sell them over here, Cath.x.

I've just bought some brilliant pens in 20 colours from Staples. They fit easily into the ordinary holder too!! They're stabilo fineliners and work really well. My sukura things wouldn't fit the holder and I ended up taking the inside out and sticking it into the holder with blue tc. Too much effort

I have found that Creative Memories pens fit nicely in the pen holder.

Their Triplus ones fit into the standard holder - they were some of the first I remember being recommended as fitting.
