Gallery messages?

When I logged on last night I had several messages in my gallery (about new comments etc). Today I can't find them anywhere - is it just me? I really liked this new feature so I hope it hasn't been removed again...

I quite liked it too, hope it comes back, maybe there's some adjustments going on.

me too I like that addition and I also like that it tells you where the new photos are in the gallery(underneath the photos)

I have turned that back on. I turned it off while fixing another issue. But it is back on now.
