is it is a private one the person who created it will need to send you an invite... pm them if you have been missed...

if it is a public one - at the top on the blue banner line there should be something in the right hand corner saying "joining this group" or words to that effect...:D

Click on Quick Links on the red bar above, scroll down to Social Groups and click.
Find the social group you want to join and click on it (there is a search facility), scroll down to the red bar just above the sponsor boxes and click on join group.

Currently there is no email notification of posts to social groups.

or yes, click on the join group in the blue bar - either will work so long as it's an open group. :)
