same here Fae. My hubby doesn't mind my obsessions to a point as long as it doesn't get too silly aswell. Mind you it has of late with stash buying (although not actually many stamps) but if we needed something for the house like an oven then the nellies would (sadly) have to wait :)

Hi Karen,

Ah it's sort of a holiday here too (not a bank holiday but there's festivities due to it being liberation day), didn't realise it's a bank holiday in the UK. The queens birthday was last wednesday and thursday was "Hemelvaart" so it has been a long weekend for a lot of people. I'll eagerly await the dispatch notice tomorrow then :)

A day at home for me, mummy stuff, HW etc

No rubber delivery this week at Sugar Nellie, it was expected before friday but it has not arrived and with it being the bank holiday weekend the PO are not working again untill Tuesday.

Even we are stalking the postie:(nothing arrives as quick as you would like it to. We are waiting for Sweet Ebony and Lola & Simon stamps with Ladybug and friends also due in too.

thanks for the positive comments Its great to get feedback I used the concord card that someone here recommended and find it wonderful for colouring. Karen, the papers are HOTP ones .
I'm off on holiday on the 31st, hope I don't miss sweet and sassy when she arrives (though come to think of it dh is taking his mini laptop thingy with him so Funky Kits may get an order via Turkey!)

yes thank you Kim, I had ment to put it on the blog and took pics but can not load it on as I am not very good at computer stuff. It is a lovely card and I will try again to get it on the blog as it was a lovely surprise to recieve:wub

I will also thank everyone who sends cards and pictures to funkykits & sugar nellie, we recieve a lot of emails and try to read them all but sometimes we do not have the time to answer them all. At the moments we are working a three day week but once we move to our new office and Christmas kicks in we will have to up the hours.

I love all the Sugar Nellies, especially the new range but I struggle to see them on the site as the watermark protection text covers most of the image up, any chance of making it a wee bit smaller so oldies like me with bad eyesight can see what is on offer?

this may sound like a daft question but what size are your cards?
the reason I ask is they all seem to have plenty of 'space' around the images to put stuff/embellies...

when I use my card blanks the images always seem to fill the card front with no room for anything else....

The card I just posted in 5 x 7 inches, get them in packs of 50 from The Works, dont tend to use C6 as they are too small, I often make my own cards too as I can have them any size I want then, I also often use a 5.5 x 5.5 inch card too and put them in 6" square envelopes... (sorry not CMs as I am old school)... lol

your the same as me hun. if i order envelopes online i always have to ask hubby to convert for me & yes i will ring him at work if he is because i just can't work it out (makes my head hurt!!) I like working with square cards & have just got myself some 5 x 7 envelopes to make some of those aswell. I make all my own now.

I cut the card out using my Cricut Design Studio, I took the scallop circle from mini monograms cart, then did another one and flipped it, then welded it together at the top.... then cut it out.

I made a kitty card today, one of eliazbeth bells designs, I didn't use the pretty colours that everyone has been using , I used boyish colours, rebelling a bit this week and it's rubbing off on me creations...lol
