Hi All,
Dont know if I am posting in the right section but i have been reading and have now got the confidence to put my first post on here. You all seem like a friendly lot and i hope to be able to swap ideas with you all.
My hubby is buying me a robo for my birthday so I may be on here asking for your help alot as I havent got a clue were to start.
Anyway off to read some more of your interesting posts and cant wait until I can view what you have all been making but as I have only registered 3 weeks ago I still have to wait another week:angry:

Hi, Jane -and welcome to the mad mad world of UKS! As you say, the natives are friendly, if sometimes eccentric!
This section is usually used for technical questions, generally answered by our beloved SMAX.
You can ask questions in any part of the forum, but most would be posted in the general section.
Have you seen the Newbie Starter Pack here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/showthread.php?t=167465)? It's full of useful stuff. You may also want to ask to be 'adopted' by someone who's been on here for a bit longer, then you have someone to ask when you feel your question may be a bit silly - we've all had some daft queries in our time.
There is a special Robo forum - like you, I suspect, this is how I found UKS in the first place. But be warned, I came snooping around as a cardmaker who was thinking of getting a Robo, and now, like many others, I'm an obsessed scrapbooker!
Another way of getting to 'know' people and get lots of support is to join a team. Don't be worried by all the collecting points thing, I spend much more time on here gossiping than actually scrapping, so most months my points are pants, but I have some great cyberfriends with whom I can have a great laugh.
You have, of course, hit the forum at the zaniest time of the year - the Cybercrop which is a whole weekend of classes, challenges and total lunacy. So, if it all seems a bit hectic and crazy this weekend, don't be put off, 'normal' service, or something close to it, should be resumed next week!
So, welcome and have fun!

Eileen,
Thankyou for such a lovely welcome to the site.
My Robo is arriving today so I will have time to play before I am able to get some of your wonderful templates off here and make some great cards.
Love
Jane

Hi Jane,
Like you, I'm quite new but everyone here is so friendly. Don't be afraid to ask anything even if you think it sounds silly, we've all got to learn and I've recently bought a Silhouette so massive learning curve going on here. Have fun.
Sue.
