i've had a bath and u have filled the thread - i couldnt understand why there was no reply button :lol:

Well i will have to go on a mission to find my own spice racks then will have to have a look in a cheapy kitchen shop or something - i aint been to a kitchen shop for a while.

i need to find a better way to organise my flowers too!

My bro is letting me have a spare flat screen monitor at some point so that will get rid of this big screen and make more space i will prob change it over when i move my stuff to the bigger room - hopefully in about 3 or 4 months time!

I need to do some scrapping this week...I was thinking that I didnt have much to do this weekend - seen all the family last weekend etc etc but now i remember its the cc so thats handy my day will consist of a trip to the craft shop at the farm (to use my £25 freeby) then supermarket for some nice lunch and then rest of weekend at home. Dh is off tho but he normally happy to sit around.......oh i have just thought what if he gets me to go nasty tile shopping again :(

Think i am gonna give this house book a go - just looked at some of the points in more detail and can get away with doing them in respect of our house in Texas - this way it will be nice for the kids when older especially Sammy as this is his country being an American passport holder!!!!
Might even start it next after the castle!!!!

The jars i have for my flowers come in a set of 4 from ikea for £1.99 a real bargain and i love those little jars i want some more of those at some point too

Amanda - Yes Sam is my youngest 3 1/2 and then Hannah who is 5 next week and Liam is 12 next month. Eldest 2 were born in Holland. Might do them alittle book of their first home in Holland - although we never bought either over there but we stayed in the same house for nearly 6 years. Obviously Liam remembers his time in Holland - but Hannah is very vague only being 18 months when we lefted.
What a busy few weeks we have then of scrapping houses.

Penny - the little castle book i am doing at the moment - all my photo's are black and white - i love them much more than colour, and of course they are easier to match to paper!!! But i can see 20 years down the line the kids will be saying why did mum do balck and white photo's???

I really like black and white photography- it can make a very boring photo look good and yes any papers will go. I got the 7G's blue and green that go lend themselves to black and white. Just waiting for a claer rain freee day to get some shots up out local forest and around the village.

Hopefully - Haven't heard yet. Cause we moved into the area quite late and i had the other 2 to sort out for schools nad what not last year and then on top of everything else (dad), i never put his name down until this year and now i am being told i haven't got a chance in hell of getting him a place. He is so desperate for nursery but i really begrudge paying 40 a day for the local creche to take him - just think it's absolutely ridiculous amount of money for a kid to go and play for a few hours. I would rather keep him here and do things with him - like scrapping :lol:

Prices for nurserys are quite expensive hopefully a place will come up in school for him fingers crossed i had trouble with gettin nathan in to first (big) school so he had an extra term in nursery before he got a place i refused to take him to the other schools as they are a bit of a trek from here and with caitlin only bein a baby and it bein winter i wasnt pushing a pushchair for miles in snow am quite pleased i stuck my ground as he did get a place eventually

This is what i am waiting to get him into - he is not ready for school until next September - they start school the year they turn 5, so technically he will be one of the oldest in the year. The nursery i am waiting for the government pay 5 pound a day towards the cost - which is quite good.

yes Gill wot a way to spend a birthday- so far I have spent mine by post office- school run - washing, cloths and dishes- washing the dirtiest kitchen floor and that is as far as I have got. We had to have takeaway last night after getting home so late with one thing and another (DD & DS :P). wasnt' a big one - I had just a main meal with NO rice - but scoffed a few prawn crackers too - so can't have extra's tonight as our weigh in is tomorrow and I lose such small amounts as it is! So, after weigh in we are having the BIGGEST BIRTHDAY TAKEAWAY WE CAN POSSIBLY GET :D

Well i have just got ready - about to put chicken in oven to cook and hopefully get some scrapping done. I have been surfing the web of our old estate in Texas, trying to get as much information as possible - each division has a web site, rather cool - detailing all the ionfo. Now just hope i have plenty of piccies. Should do even if they include the kids in some of them it won't matter.
But i must finsh the castle book first. Only i more page to do!!!!!

she is cooking me a syn free dinner- so I willstill be on track. But last nite I had 4 custard creams and 5 celabration chocs- that has prob blown any loss for me as I did have those lovely shell choccies from Ally which disapeared very fast!!!! Never mind-ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! LOL

exactly penny - slimming is really about healthy eating - not trying to lose as much weight as you possibly can each week - at the end of the day - in the long term you want to try and be slim for life. I've given up ever thinking I shall be a size 12 again (don't want to be - think our faces sag too much after being bigger for a while) at my age - IYKWIM & IMO.

BUT IF I can get back comfortably into a 16 or even a 14 I'd be a very happy person. My new coat is a 16 and was tight when done up, but now I already have 2" spare when it's done up and I have lost such a small amount of weight - I just feel so much better for eating more healthily.

he he :P I didn't like to pointedly ask 'so where you off to?' - in case you thought, blooming cheek of her! Shame about the filling, I hate the dentist too, correction, my dentist is a lovely man, we've known him for 20 odd years our kids are the same ages and he & his lovely wife always used to get their tiles from DH shop (when he worked for the other company) - and we got on really well - BUT he knows I hate going to him for actual dentistry. :lol:

well hospital visit done - DH is having to do a sleep study - talk about a laugh, I will have to photograph him when he's got all the equipment on - just hope no one breaks in - he'd frighten them to death - LOL

Had a nice relaxing day too - sat in the WRVS for a cuppa and I actually resisted the cakes - took some doing, came home and demolished loadsagrapes.

tea finished - only chicken salad - but DH cooked some mushrooms and they were vile - we had to pick them out - so not a very pleasant Birthday dinner and DD came out with a big box of southern fried chicken for her dad as an extra birthday pressie (nice thought) BUT we both had a couple of pieces each and then said 'we are on diets' ! So we've thrown the rest away - terrible waste, but then it goes in the bin at work either way.

Hello all well believe it or not i only got home from work 20 mins ago - bloody road was shut so it took me over 2 hours GRRRRRR so i got takeout cos too late to cook.

I had my stamps arrive today and also my package from SArahscards. I ordered an 8.5x11 album and i am gutted cos its a portrait one and i thought landscape :( oh well i havent tried portrait yet so will be a good excuse too i just need to think of a theme for that now tho

yeah last monthes kit was really fab, so was the one before the tinkering ink. I used all of both of them. This monthes kit I think lends itself to a girly vintage look so I will get some photos of Nadia converted to sepia to use on them.

DD doesn't need to be in until 12 - DS wants an appointment with this volunteer worker coordinator - so I need to ring him about 9 - and he wants to go to library, I need to go to bank. So not an exciting day today.

hi ya. really disappointed with half a pound off ! - doesn't seem worth going when you lose such little amounts, and we do know that we don't keep to it 100% - but I just think my body has gotten so fed up with me dieting all the time and my metabolism is at zero. DH lost nothing and he is very disappointed too as he has kept to plan a lot lot better than me. PLUS he's only lost 5lb's in total but has had to go down a notch on his belts and his wris****ch spins on his arm? As I said my coat has 2" gap when done up and I've only lost 4lbs?????? It was mega tight when I first started?

SO we pigged out on fish and chips :wub: have decided that from tomorrow moring we shall write everything down and see if we have a better week next week.

No scrapping again - with all the running about every day I just feel so tired in the evenings...................and out tomorrow morning at two customers over in Sutton, it's a nightmare.

So, I am getting off to bed a bit earlier. Speak tomrrow.

I feel a bit better about only half off now - as you say, it's better than on, but we are going to try just a bit harder this week as I'd like to get into the next stone bracket & so would DH.

Sarah - I know what you mean about families. Can't say I'm close to mine, but never argued or anything like that - however, after DH packed his job up (and in hindsight we wish he hadn't or, at least, planned more before he did) - my sister and BIL had a right go at us - you've got to do this and your've got to do that - and you ring his firm and tell them you are going to do this (as it should really have been a kind of constructive dismissal - even though DH gave his job up). Anyway, as you know we have struggled for 18 months without an income now and at Christmas the whole family were going out for a meal - well as we all split the bill and it usually comes to about £80 plus with wine etc we just said 'we can't really afford to this year' my BIL launches into a full scale attack on us how stupid we were (I do agree, but you don't like being told) etc etc etc..............PLUS I've been asking for the family photo's from when we were young from my sister for 12 months just to scan but she will not let me have them! Anyway, they haven't contacted us since and I don't feel we've done anything so we don't contact them.

AS YOU SAY FAMILIES !!!

it is absolutely torrential rain here ! no walkies for the dog! and I'm over in Sutton at 11 - but I may get to scrap this afternoon which would be very nice as I haven't done much all blooming week.

My lady who is due at 2.30 rang to ask if she could come at 4 - I really didn't fancy working 4 - 5 and DD needs a lift into Tamworth at about 5.30 - I'm working at 1 pm too - so it's a bit itsy bitsy today.

So I rearranged my 2.30 today to 2.30 next week.

I also have had this HUGE boil like lump come up on my eyebrow above my right eye - it's awful and so sore.

I have packed my stash for a crop me and Ally are going to tomorrow- it is not ours so we can do some of our own stuff. I will print of te CC classes tonight and do them tomorrow at crop- maybe.

Sarah i have been doing yoga for about 10 years now sometime's yes it helps and sometime's no iyswim, i have to go back to see the surgeon at the hospital in two weeks to get results from blood,xrays and mri scan not looking forward to that more pulling me around,i just hope they don't say i have to have rod's put in my back that will be a big :nono::nono::nono:

Ally I was scaning some photos og MIL and FIL but it didn't happen so I will not be doing them then LOL.
I have got a new cartridge for the cricut and it has home in it done in really nice fancy script- I have cut you one for your book Ally I shall bring it tomorrow and if you want more you can do them sunday.
I looked again for bags for you but still have not seen any. But I have to get the girls from Ponty at 4 so will look in town before hand.

AND have you got any essential oils - you can buy 'bulb rings' they're little ceramic discs which you put a little essential oil into the grove and when the light is put on it heats the disc and the room smells LOVELY - I would suggest Ylang Ylang - lifts your spirits quite a bit or you can use an oil burner (but I was always very wary with kids in the house).

Right - DD wants to go and get a new dress!! - and then she's meeting her mate - and I gotta cook, so no scrapping at the moment AGAIN - bit fed up really not being able to get on and get something done.

Dinner done and dusted, Nearly bed time.
Ally my son just has a knack of winding me up at the moment - he just goes agaisnt every word i say. He has been after this computer game for over a year now (Grand Theft Auto) and i refuse point blank to let him have it - it's aged for 18 and over because it is quite explicit, drugs prostitutes and so on, bearing in mind he is only 11 - well he has borrowed his friends game and been playing it and i found it this morning - i am so annoyed not only for sneaking it behind my back but my little ones could of switched it to play it as they have their own little games they play and i do not want them seeing things like that - he won't come near me tonight :angry:
Anyway enough of my moaning.

Will go and do the photo's of book now although can only upload first picture into my gallery as i do not have photobucket. Will put rest in the forum, so you can peek!!!

What a fantastic class - absolutely love that mannequin!! I will do at a later date for sure. Might do a LO that they have done mind you but 12x12.
