It is Heather, but then we have to travel that distance to get to a decent food shop.

Doing anything up here is a bit of a trek - our nearest cinema is in Inverness along with all the decent clothes shops ect - but we're used to having to make an hour journey each way.

blimey another new home, a much chatter month this month.

Well my great plan for scrapping at the weekend went a bit a wrong. Virgin stopped our modem without authorising the new one which turned out to have a different Ip addy and took hours to get sorted out, and then it turned out i had left the lappy power lead at work

Did finish a canvas and print a load of pics out, hopefully tonight will be more productive.

Hi Heather - love you really - Yes, Joshua went back to school today and today was also the first day that he went home with his friend as the after school club has now closed - he had a really good time. But on the downside I get a letter from school saying they're going on strike on Thursday!!! - for goodness sakes they've only just had 2 weeks off AND have just had an inset day - how much more bl**dy time off do they want - do they ever consider the parents who they inconvenience, plus it's only 2 out of the 3 of the classes in his year that are on strike! - very angry!

Adam had his first day of work experience today. he has to work at a galvanised steel works (no i haven't a clue what that means either!) he is working in their office all week making cups of tea! he was petrified this morning, he is soooo shy. i made his fave dinner tho and when he got home he said it was ok but really boring.

OOh, it's a lovely chick flick, it stars "Grace" from Will & Grace and some bloke that I always think is , ooh, now can't think of his name, but he's just gorgeous. Anyway, the plot is along the lines of girl going to her sister's wedding but her ex-fiance is the best man and she wants to make sad man jealous so she hires an escort (who happens to be drop dead gorgeous) and then the plot continues, it's definitely worth watching.

"Who Me" is one of the cj's in the pets cj which Julie is hosting :) Was a really good one as Millie is such a wee monkey, I had plenty of naughty pics to choose from :lol: Cannot believe that I thought it was due next week - never mind I got it done and the postie collected when I was there - good timing eh ? But am having one of those days - got home feeling all good and proud of myself for getting it done and out in an afternoon only to discover that the rules card was sitting on my craft desk !!!!!!!! Sorry I didn'tmake it on yesterday - russ was trying to sort the router out!

Today I was sent home as I arrived at work and had a massive asthma attack. Really frightened myself!! Luckily got it under control and no emergency calls needed (although for the first time ever, I thought that that could be the case!) Feeling very sore and quite tired. Have had 2 Dr's appointments today and have to go back in a couple of weeks.

Will try and get the addy card done by second week of may - thats the week I go away and lots to sort before then but should be able to do it at crop nxt weds :D

karen- i'm turning 40 next january and i'm dreading it. i felt the same when i turned 30 and had palnned to spend the whole day in bed drowning my sorrows with chocolate. a very dear uncle who has since died sent me the biggest bouquet i've ever seen and that cheered me up no end. mind you i'm still planning to run away for the week of my 40th and have a lodge in edinburgh booked so i'll hopefully escape the mad "celebrations" at work

lucky you karen. i've never been to skye yet but i've got a holiday booked in nov that takes you to tour skye for a couple of days.

Thankfully I don't have to be there with the Guides I let kate do that. And we usually get a good turn out cos the girls love to carry the flag. The parade here is about 3/4 hour to the church so I 've told them tonight to make sure there shoes are black but comfortable.

It's a rather wet and dull one here today - which is really nice as the ground and river needed it - think our fishermen this week have been doing a wee rain dance :lol: They caught a salmon today so are pleased :)

Hope your all having a great Wed :) Am going to do some food shopping now and last minute stash shop ready for Fri - don't know if I will be on later (will try) but if I don't I will be on tomorrow nite :) Housework and making up kits ready for cc planned for tomorrow :)

Well had we trip to craft shop too, bought some bits and pieces. Had to do some food shopping too.

Evening Ravers.

No asthma attacks today just a nasty cough and very sore/achey. Went into work (had to pick up my car anyway so went in) and my manager said "what are you doing here! do I need to send you home?" well I lasted 3 hours did some of the bits I needed to and came home to bed and slept for a few hours;) not in again now until Monday so hopefully will be fighting fit!

I can't believe I have not even looked at the classes for the CC! It is the first time in years that I haven't been a big part of it - just don't have the interest this time. Was supposed to be a team leader but as I have not been around as much I'm not - I don't really have the time at the mo to be so involved since changing my hours etc..:D They were always great fun although I didn't enjoy the last one so much - I loved the manicness of the normal ones :D

Hope to get some crafting done in next couple of days - I need to make some birthday cards and a wedding card for my friend at work. Also need to get organised as I am at a crop on wednesday night.

Hi Fi, Glad to hear you are feeling better. I got a papermania paper pack (nostalgia warm), some brads, eyelets, ribbon, a couple of bookrings, DST & refils for my runner glue.

Don't let heather hear about the brads;) It's great to get some new bits. When I have done some more LO's and used some of the stash mountain I have(:blink:) I will take a trip to paperarts - its a 2 hour trip each way but soooooo worth it once I get there!!! That is why I do not go very often!!!!!:lol:

I'm heading downstairs now. Not sure if I will get back on.
