hello how is everyone. My monitor has broke on my pc i'm not amused

oh shame sarah.

pig sick really - I lost ONE pound ! ONE - yes I know its better down than up and a pound is a pound - but first week I only lost 2.5 and this week a pound. I feel so much slimmer and less bumpy ! DH only lost a pound too - we get really fed up cos we have followed the plan. I think our meals are just too big to lose large amounts of weight each week. So we'll have to look at portion sizes.

Ah well, at least I'm a little slimmer and really I am 9.5lb's lighter than I was on Christmas day (yeh, how sad, I weighed myself christmas day).

Gotta stop being so hard on myself - working at 8.15 - having fish and chips for tea (our night off).

one pound is good Gill but it is having 'nights off' that is the problem. You really have to stay with it - you will get where you want to be if you give it 100% all the time.

you are so right Penny I know that not sticking to it 100% isn't good, but I am so fed up watching what I'm eating - at least going to class keeps me more on the straight and narrow - so to speak.

just waiting for customer to come - he's due at 8 - his son has trumpet lesson on a wednesday and he said 'I might be a little late' - time before last - and came at 20 past (I think thats a bit too much) last time he was nearly half an hour late !! - so I said - we'll have to schedule for another night instead of wednesdays and he said 'I was only late tonight because DS is learning to drive and he insisted that he drove home from trumpet lesson' - so in other words I can wait - I was pretty miffed. Thats the trouble working for yourself you have to smile sweetly and put up and shut up.

See what time he comes tonight.

Not the end of the world Penny, my dh came home one afternoon 3 years ago, he'd just been made redundant out of the blue and sent home! We've managed, not ideal as he works away from home, but I get lots more scrapping done! lol

frightening times - like you say you do manage. I don't know how we've managed for 18 months - using all our savings etc - the next few months sees whether the shop does well enough for us to continue to live here or whether we have to sell up and move to a small house. With son ill too our life seems pretty bleak at the moment.

BUT I TRY NOT TO WORRY SO MUCH - it's hard. BUT I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST PENNY !

Amanda - can you move these to thread 1 please. I think its up to you when you do them as i think it will take some of us longer than others. Lets aim to do a couple a week at this stage but if you do more then no problem.
You may have some of your own ideas and add those pages if you like. There are more than 20 as there will be some there that you don't like!

Hi I am quite tired tonight and looking forward to my bed.
Penny how was your weigh in? I am sorry to hear about DH its a total pain we have similar concerns with my hubby at the moment...4 weeks time we will know whats happening but its a little scary isn't it.
I had a nice treat in work today tho my boss gave me a £50 voucher of my choice for all the hard work i have done over the last couple of months. I have £75 put aside from last year so i may use that towards a laptop or something I will see.

Morning all
WOW - What a day yesterday, busy, cold, but lots of fun. We left here at 9.30 and got back at 8.30pm - all kiddies fell alsleep in the car, sign of a good day. The park stayed open an extra hour as they reached the 10,000 visitor mark - whiched pleased us as the park had started to empty out by then.
Mummy is still tired this morning - all that fresh air!!!

Have tons of house work to do today - catch up. Need to get things ready for kids to go back to school Monday as we are out for the day Sunday.

I have my laptop working again took a bit of time faffing about with it but its ok for now so thats good and i have it to take in the kitchen for the cc too if it still working by then lol

I dont know what I am going to do about the CC I an at a crop on the saturday so will miss that day. Aly wil be here on the sunday so dont suppose I will do anything that day either. How does it work- are the instructions put up altogether or is it a it at a bit at a time. like real time stuff ie giving you say 1/2 hour to do stage one then a bit more instructions for the next bit.

As far as i am aware the instructions should all go up at the start of each class thats how it has been done before the only time limit is you need to upload your stuff to the gallery by the deadline to be able to claim points for your cc team but you can do the classes at a later date if you wanted in your own time i have some i printed off at the last last one and havnt got around to yet lol

OK that fine then- it is just the I brought kits for 2 of the classes and it would be a waste of money if I missed them.

you can do the classes at any time penny...................the first cybercrop I did I just didn't understand - and a couple of weeks later when I understood what was going on I then did the classes.

That is a goal of mine, one cc I will buy all the kits ! Haven't bought one yet.

just waiting (as per usual) for a customer to come - then DD is going over to her mates in Tamworth - she was going by bus but as I'm free and need to get a bit of shopping anyway, I said i would drop her there.

Had a lazy morning - it's been lovely - done a bit of scrapping - finishing off a mini album I've been trying to get round too for a couple of weeks.

I managed about 5 los when i did my very first cc which i was impressed with and its easier when you have done a couple i use my own stash mainly and only get kits if they look nice like the red carpet was lush but way over my budget so have bought the papers and gonna do my own with the rest they are enjoyable well i think so anyway lol

So i take it you havnt got lost in your mountain of stash yet penny lol

you take it right- I have not even been in there only to get a LO that I am doing for a retreat to do the instructions and the layouts for our crop I needed to take a photo of for the website. I am going to do it tonight when Nadia is having fun with the worms!!!! I am going to Oxford tomorrow to pick up some papers for the retreat kits and that is my weekend planned but as they say the best laid plans often change!!!! so we will see what happens.

I am such a divvy went to set off to school to get dd halfway down my sister rings me and says she doesnt finish til 4pm so i set off to school for nothing turned round and came back home lol am off again in 10 mins i totally forgot she had after school club lol

well i dropped DD at her mates and they're 'painting the town red' tonight ! I am, once again, worried to death. Also the fact that they are stopping over at a girls house who's parents are away! I have asked her to text me when she gets back to this girls house - but I don't know whether she will.

Ive had, as I said, a real relaxing day, even my customer at 2 is a laid back relaxed person and a pleasure to do reflexology on.

Just trying to think what we might have for tea??? - BUT DH isn't home until 6'ish so I still have another hour to sit and scrap. It's been a LOVELY day.

I had a nice day at work - 18 balloons and some banners this morning - i kept chucking the balloons around as i coudlnt stnad them all being on my desk as i hate clutter like that. I got some nice presents tho, lots of cards, a book, dvd, mug and choccies....one of my team also made me a cake which was really nice of them.

I did not even consider letting Nadia go to a pub, let alone a club before she was 18 - well then I couldn't stop her she is an adult. But that is me- we are all different. She goes now and I worry but she know that I will not go to bed till she is home so she now stays over friends houses coz she thinks it is unfair to make me wait up for her. So I should be grateful that she is thoughtful.

Im afraid my dd is 17 and has her own mind - all the girls she goes round with drink (fortunately my DD doesn['t really like alcohol too much) so that is a blessing really, I suppose she wouldn't have anyone to go round with if she didn't do 'what they do' - I'm just hoping that they all don't get in again and so they all don't IYKWIM. As you know we've been out at 12 and 1 and 2 am collecting her from various places - fortunately tonight they're all staying at one girls house (but that worries me because the mom and boyfriend are away).....................I have to learn to let go, just wish they hadn't grown up yet :D .

I'm trying not to think abou it.

anyway, kitchen all spotless and lovely looking - now it's time to scrap me thinks.

I think it is a good Idea for them to all stay together at a friends at least they all stay together for the night as they will be going home together. Dont worry. Althought we will always do that. My DD is on a 'greens' weekend sleeping outside in this terrible weather and they have to sleep in dug outs with a tarpaulin over the top!!!!! It is really chucking it down here and really cold and windy. She is going to have a misrible weekend and all for the sake of her like of cadets.

Yes Elaine - Have managed some scrapping, still :blink: doing my little album, got 3 more pages to do and add ribbon to rings etc etc and thats it.
Was hoping to have finished by this weekend, but have quite a bit to do today as we are out tomorrow. The family are going to the crematorium as it will be a year tomorrow that we said goodbye to dad and my mum has had his name put into the book of rememberance to which i have still not seen and then kids back to school Monday so have to get shopping in and do their uniforms and everything so the prospect of a finished book are unlikely!!! But i can try.

Yes they are all craft pieces. I have had my BG rub ons this week already - very scrummy. My sizzlet has also come.
Now i am waiting on my Bad girl kits from the USA, National scrapbooking day kit from a sponser and then i ordered lots more paper and another little birdie stamp from another sponser - think i have spent another 40 quid this week on more stash, i spent enough last weekend..........

I did manage a trip to the craft shop - UNFORTUNATELY but fortunately DS was with me and I don't like to spend when he's with me incase he tells DH ! :wacko: so I just got DST and foam tape - a grand spend of £3.50. don't you think I was good.

been shopping tea cooking- why does fatfree, low cal. food always taste so bland. I have really spiced this chilli up though!!!!!

Leave the ironing - it's your birthday weekend - just do what you need - that is HOW I have ironed for the last 20 years !!! - I used to stand and iron on a Sunday night for about 10 years (no wonder i was tired :lol:) and then I suddenly realised that I only needed to iron a couple of shirts and stuff on a sunday to last us a couple of days and then I iron on as Tuesday a couple of things for wednesday and thursday etc etc - everything else after it is washed & dried I pop on hangers in the wardrobe and they need very little ironing.

Well, I bid you all a good night. I might do the first page in my 'my home' book - I don't know yet, got an early start and a busy day tomorrow.

I am not worried that the ironing will not be done from a "need to iron" point of view my concern is the roof is coming off the utiliy room where the ironing is and that if it rains or with the dust it will all need washing again so thats why i wanted to get it done!

Evening all - not long back.
Been bit of busy day, down to kent, into London to the Crematorium, back to kent and then back home - rather tired.
Bit of a stressful day to say the least - sister and i had a bit of an argument, and now come home and DD has a earache :angry: - hopefully it's just water in it from the bath!!!! She has to go back to school tomorrow as she had so much time of last term and plus the kids are home Thursday again because of teacher strikes.

Gonna go to bed now as i am sure i will be up during the night. Think DD had something on her mind. I am worried taking her to the church today was not such a good idea as she believes Grandad is in the sky and not in a field as she put it - i didn't let them go to the funeral. (although dad is not there - his ashes are at my mum's, but she has never seen them, they are hidden away - but thats another story!!!!), we went today as mum had his name put in the book of rememberance, which is beautiful on the day of his funeral. Will just have to take the questions as they come i guess.

I been in to town to get bits i couldnt get at weekend and now need to go to post office and i cant find my parcel tape argggggghhhhhhhhhh so will have to go to school get dd come back home try and find the tape then try get to back to post office before closing why can things never go smoothly lol

I got a letter from dd school to say they were open as normal and a letter from ds school to say they are closed that day

hello all am home from work and quie surprised to see how much has been done on the extension the roof of the garage and utility room is off already and the first steel support in too - not bad for a days work adn one skip has gone too.

Hopefully they will take in my parcels tomo!hehe I have had an order from Sarahs cards and also a set of stamps off an auction site - penny black ones.

I have had a terrible day - won't bore you rigid but I've just spent the whole day doing everything for everyone - driving here and there and everywhere, and DD who should have come out at 4.30 (at the lastest) got into the car at nearly an hour late - at 5.25.......................I was so annoyed. I am wasting my life away waiting for people all the time.

THE insurance said they haven't heard from the other side re their insurers - and this chap is a neighbour - hubby thinks as it;'s a company rental car that he hasn't reported it - he thought there was osmelthing fishy about the chap when it all happened and I forgot that there is £200 excess when we are already financially VERY strapped.

I am just absolutely sick to death the whole blooming situation - it just never seems to rain but it pours.

on the 6' bookcase I only have 2nd shelf down where the stickles are.

the unit where the trimmer is has 4 containers on and they are all empty !

I do have lots of paper and card - beautiful stuff, but it was at the kind generousity of two lovely people - whom will remain annonymouse !
