I noticed on their blog that they said they would be dispatching the kits on Friday and cards would be debitted then.

Looking for a bit of advice re the stamp club, I ordered this ages ago but have just realised that the card I used has since been renewed, it expired at the end of last month, I had thought when I ordered that they would take the payment straight away. I have read on the forum that Magnolia are really hard to get in touch with but don't want to miss our on my order, do you think they will just cancel the payment and if so do you think I should just order again using the new card, or do you think they will try to contact me to sort it out. Would really appreciate any advice

They wont be able to take your money if your card has expired so I think you just wont get your order. Cant see them contacting you personally. Maybe worth ordering another and if you get 2 sell one set on, dont think you will have much trouble doing that.

If they're posting club kits out on Friday, I reckon on Monday or Tuesday at the earliest (my order with them took 4 or 5 working days, but that would have included picking and packing -- and I don't expect that to take as long for a standard kit)

As I have now moved - well sort of as in between houses just now - I haven't been on here for a while so sorry if this has been posted. A while back someone said that they stored there magnolias in a CD case which they bought in Germany. A chain of German shops in the UK have a case for £9.99, which stores 200 CDs, comes with a lock and it reminds me of the one everyone seemed to like. I dont know if I am allowed to post the name of the Stores so it is the yellow and blue one with the first and last initial L. It is not in until the 24th I think - it is in the camping edition and I dont even know what date it is today.
I wont be around as gutting a house so thought that I would share this with anyone who may be interested.

Gorgeous cards. Someone on another forum has added a mouth to their Tildas, but I don't think they look right somehow!

Maybe because my daughter used to go to a Rudolph Steiner school and all their dolls had faces without mouths. That way it was up to the child to decide whether the doll was happy or sad:wub:.

BUT even without a mouth she can munch ice cream - LOOK :wub:
This too is a kick-stand card - I was REALLY out of my comfort zone with this one - as the mother I am making it for ask for something with a lot of colours and lots of things happening. Well :P looking at the finished result - that's sure what she got :P Better get your sunglasses on before clicking...

... just a few lines to say that today is my B-day (and YES it's lovely and sunny here). I share my B-day with your queen and our youngest member of the Danish Royal family was born last year today - her name is Princess Isabella.

My DH surprised me with a Crop-a-Dile, to lovely QK Rev. dies and an external hard disk for all my digital photoes this morning. What can I say - he's a keeper. :wub:

I am also using Prismacolor's on mine with Sansador. I tend to do a layer blend and then often add another layer to intensify the colour. On this card the blue is a mixture of 3 colours as I made a mistake and chose the wrong one in the beginning.

There are sets of 120 available on that well known auction site for £65 inc P&P from the US. That is about the price of the 72 pack if you purchase it over here.....mine were from the US.

Sorry to be a pain, but can someone just tell me what the blending stumps are? Where do I get them? Thanks again helpful people. :D

blending stumps are what you need to move/blend the colour on the paper. it is dense paper made into a pencil shape. You dip that in the sansador or blending media to blend the colour on the paper giving it that printed like finish. You will be able to buy them from any artist supply shop.

just to let you know, you only need one sheet of ez mount for the spring stamps

I know it is every one to there own but I find with the ez mount it makes the outline to bold as you tend to put more pressure on. I have always just prit stuck the stamp to the acrylic. You can feel what the stamp is doing.

I don't use ezmount - another member gave us the fab tip of pritt sticking them to the acrylic block - then you just wipe it off when you have finished stamping! Works fab!

angeljakki, I love the swirls on your daydreaming one... how did you do that?

kevie you use a versamark ink pad and stamp on plain card. It makes a water mark effect let it dry for about 10mins and then chalk over it and the colour will be more intense and pick up the detail of where you have stamped. You can create some stunning results with it.
This is how we used to make patterned cards over here before all the scrapbooking papers came over here.

Only just bought Magnolia stamps! am loving them, but looking at these threads i have a lot to learn! and what are prism pencils?

Only just bought Magnolia stamps! am loving them, but looking at these threads i have a lot to learn! and what are prism pencils?

They are Prismacolor pencils sweety. Lots of us have them now hehe (even more people by the day I believe lol)

They are like watercolour pencils but you dont use water to blend them. You use a mineral oil (or baby oil I believe) and a paper stump (paper pulp squished hard to look like a pencil) to dissolve the colour and blend it on paper.

The most popular place to get them is from America (via the famous auction site) as the exchange rate is so good at the mo.

Have a look thro past threads or do a search on Prismacolor and Sansador and you will find loads of info.
