hi kate, did you have a nice time? you must have been thrilled with your newly painted hall and flowers, lucky you
love the layout, esp. greens and oranges with the pale background, really stunning
that orange down the middle of mine is a felt swirl - 'felt fusion' by Queen&Co. self adhesive too, so easy to stick on

Night Tiff
Kate - well emptying the bin is just one step too far! You just have to cram more rubbish in and squash the lid down. Don't you have the bin emptying fairy at yours? I'm certain my lot think we have one!
kate8679
12-04-2008, 11:05 PM
nope it appears the fairy strangely chose the same week as me to take her annual holiday  - he gave up with cramming the lid and just took it off and kept piling the rubbish on top - men

Well I have cut my pink paislee ~ however only the office lingo, cant touch the spring fling  and made this (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=156891&nocache=1) lo. Its basically what I was trying to scrap with the mystery kit. Again very very simple but its not that interesting. I need to scrap the meaning behind what this song means to me but that will take a bit of soal searching so will put it off a little longer.

Well, i *have* finished, but the last layout i did, last night, im just not happy with...its bugging me, i think its because i used papers o dont particulary like, and because of that i havnt kept to my style IYKWIM.I also have tried to put 'too' much on it!
Only thing for it is to rip it apart and start again!!!!
I have until tuesday, but i also need to write up a word doc for them all:o
DH is going out this morning, so may try and sneel a bit of crafty scrapping in!!!:P
Tash..great layout..i have used up all my pink paislee and am awaiting the big pre-order!!!:P

Willow ~ Glad to see you are nearly complete on your projects. Have fun sneaking some scrapping in.
sam ~ Crop today? If it is hope you have fun and make something delish ~ as you always do
Starr ~ All work and no play... No really dont wear yourself out hun. Tak care
Thanks for all your comments on my lo. It was a very quick one but its growing on me. I will someday make that into a meaning mini book, when I can finally come to terms with it. Today I started on the art cards again and I made one, woo hoo... However I then found a whole stash parcel from scrapz that I ordered and checked but havent re opened ~ it was like xmas again. So I finally got around to making a seperate and my first 'proper' atc (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=156952&nocache=1), ie one without a promt. I am very pleased with it and I think I will be making more :)
Have a great evening all

willow ~ glad they have all got done now. you can relax :P
mary ~ hope you had/havinga nice gardening session ;)
Flying visit today, have loads planned tonight. Last night I stamped out all my latest stamps and I have been slowly colouring them to turn them into cards. Also I have a prog on tv I would like to watch tonight (about being addicted to stuff) and then I would like to watch doctor who on iplayer that I missed saturday :P So busy me tonight
Could I ask you all something though? If you were going to buy gift tags for presents what size would you except them to be? Playing card size? Also if you could buy a card with matching gift tag would you? ~ no need to answer if you dont want to
samsq
14-04-2008, 07:28 PM
Tasha - I think you need to have a roam about Clintons Cards or something similar to judge the size of gift cards.
I used to manage a card and gift shop, and the gift cards varied tremendously in size. Some being folded and some a flat hang tag. I would say the majority were smaller than playing card size.
The new stash due to arrive is mainly new Bo Bunny - and judging by the bill I've just paid there is a lot of it too!

Morning all. Another Monday - at least it's a sunny one.
Was snowing here this morning! :o It had brightened up by break time though so we were out in the playground with the kids. They get an extra long break on a Monday as part of the gov. fitness initiative. Placement went well, lovely class, so looking forward to tomorrow.
Could I ask you all something though? If you were going to buy gift tags for presents what size would you except them to be? Playing card size? Also if you could buy a card with matching gift tag would you? ~ no need to answer if you dont want to
Tasha, I don't really have a preferred size for gift tags, although I do quite like the square ones which I think are about 8-10cm. Tend to buy gift tags to match the wrapping paper rather than the greetings card. HTH :)

Just finished this week's challenge LO....here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=157142&cat=503). I enjoyed doing that one....it all just seemed to come together. ;)
Tash - I'm with binky would probably buy the tag to go with the paper and I think tags would be smaller than playing card size.
Hi Starr....how did your first day go?
Willow - will keep a look out for that new mag.
Sam - new Bo Bunny.......will have to have a little look when you've uploaded. :P

14-04-2008, 11:35 PM
It went well thanks. Just getting to know the kids today. Quite a small class, only 19, I was expecting 32! 12 boys & only 7 girls which makes learning names a bit harder. Girls are easier cause they wear different clothes (dresses/skirts/pinafores) & have different hair styles, whereas boys can look quite similar so you get names muddled until you know them better.
Long day today as we had a meeting to organise which lessons I will be taking and when. The staff couldn't believe how much we have to do in such a short time as the post-grads had much longer to do the same which is quite a daunting prospect. Sure I'll cope though. First formal lesson is phonics on Thursday.
Contributing to the new mag sounds exciting Willow!

Hello folks - back home again - all the way til Saturday! 4 whole days!! Will read back later - bit tired now and waiting for hot water to heat up.
Glad the placement is going well Starr.
I agree - I'd buy a tag to match the paper not the card.
Sounds like you're busy Willow!

Morning all!
I had the morning from hell this morning - Ewan was in a very funny mood and ended up being carried into class by his TA :(
Its a shame he isnt in your class Starr - he loves phonics - they are using the Ruth Miskin Read Write inc. system at his school and he really enjoys it.
I know exactly what you mean about boys - Ewan has mostly boys in his class and most of them have shaved blonde hair - i never know who is who- luckily for me ewan is easy to spot in a crowd with ginger hair!
Very exciting about being in a mag Willow! I guess this is paid work if you are having to send in your lo's - or are they returning them to you later? Either way its a great achievement - well done :)
Hope hospital goes well Flapsi :)
Hope you are feeling better now too Binky
Mary - i know what you mean about over-indulging - i'm restarting the diet and cleared up the last of the easter choc last night :nono: Mind you, i am now nervous about getting the horrible stomach bug that seems to be going around as some stupid woman brought her kids to toddler group today then started giving the little one Dioralyte for his'upset tummy'- why do people insist on spreading yukky germs around like that aggghhhh!!
Binky
15-04-2008, 03:07 PM
Willow - well done hun xx
Flapsi - glad you had a nice time and hope your ankles are being kind to you today. Good luck at the hosp. xx
Kate - that sounds a nightmare with Ewan but at least you got to leave him at school!;) Bless him!!
Sam - hey hun how is it in lovely Wales?
Saw Dr yesterday morning and gave me different antibiotics to hopefully kill this off once and for all. Fingers crossed. Leaves me really tired tho and off my food (which isn't a bad thing).

willow ~ woop woop at them being published, is there anyway we could get hold of the mag?
flapsi ~ Welcome home... wow four days at home must be bliss. Dont forget to put your feet up ;)
Sam ~ Stop tempting us :P No really hope you are having a great day/evening.
Well I havnt done anything much, made a card last night (on the female cards thread if you want a gander) with my first penny blacks and they are amazing. Oh and I caught up on tv. Payday tonight/today so been paying bills and the like ~ very interesting <_<. Ohh and I am now on a stash diet ~ my very first. After my blow out for pink paislee last month/week I cant spend anything this month except ~ £30 stamping up club, £12 subscription, £39.62 I have 'spare' and glue as and when ^_^ wish me luck

hi tash
i would buy a smaller tag, about half playing card size, but i do tend to make my own as they are so expensive!!
mary - love the maps on your LO - what happy photos:D
starr - glad your placement is starting well, isn't it nerve wracking meeting the staff and kids you'll be working with for so long? have you got to plan your own phonics? i've worked today and taught poems to year 3. nice class. i float around so teach different age groups
kate - that's so hard when your little one cries when you leave them - heartbreaking, poor you - was he ok after school?
tash - good luck with your stash diet. your subscriptions should give you a bit of new inspiration though evry so often
binky - hope those antibiotics are helping you feel better now
sam - just had a look at your pink paislee - just gorgeous mmmmm ^_^
willow - brilliant news, let us know when the mag comes out - well done you!
flapsi - hope your ankles are feeling better today
well i still haven't got the trampoline - waited in 2 whole days for it now - delivery company say the man has called but i find it strange he hasn't left a card or anything

I was most nervous about meeting the kids incase they didn't like me or were little horrors! I'm teaching blending on Thur, 'gl', so will be following the same sort of structure the class teacher uses. Our lesson plans need to be very detailed for our uni files though so will be working on that in a minute.
starr ~ Glad to hear you are enjoying your placement. I dont begruge you having to learn all the names though :o :P Are you there for long?

Morning folks -bit grey here again today, but at least it's dry. Why is it so hard to get up and motivated when you decide it's a day off?? Yesterday I had visions of whipping round the place this morning to make it all tidy and sparkly then scrap all afternoon. And here I am not even had a bath yet! Ah well. Will get some stuff done no doubt.
Don't think I'd be much use at adopting Sam - not around often enough, and probably wouldn't know the answers anyway!
Hope everyone's well - how are you today Binky, are the new tablets working?

willowthewysp
16-04-2008, 04:02 PM
OooH, nowthere is a question!
Ok, the item i had to use first?(well, i wont put paint down..as that is obvious!!) So it will be,probably the x-cut machine...that was really easy to use, and the basic grey stamps:)
Would never use again?Toss up between the vellum (im not a vellum fan) and the glitter glue stuff..again, im not a fan of that!

Willow - ooooh what are the BG stamps you got?? They do nice ones! I had a sort out of scrap stuff last week and must admit all the vellum I bought when I first started scrapping is still sat unused so is going to the charity shop. Hello binky http://yelims.free.fr/Coucou/Coucou24.gif I am ok, bit annoyed with work/pay at the moment, but nothing can be done. Yes I have got a few more stamps, I brought some clear penny blacks and they are lush. My first card with them can be seen here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/showpost.php?p=4847639&postcount=91). I have also brought a judikins black cat from the states, which I love. Going to try a card with that one tonight. Ohhh and I have finally mounted another set from stampingup. They are called tree for all seasons, they sound boring but they look very nice. :D I have to keep myself away from sir stampalot now  my stash diet is in force

16-04-2008, 09:22 PM
Hi all :D
Quick post tonight as I have lots to do, appologies again if I missed anything. Have to say I would hardly use the glitter glue either Willow. Would have said the same about the vellum as it has been ages since I used any but now I have my sewing machine I've rediscovered it, so easy to attach now. BG two scoops stamps look good. I was so tempted to buy them but I have a thing about stuff matching so once I've used my two scoops paper up (if that ever happens ) I'd be unlikely to use the stamps again. Really don't need anymore stamps anyway so it's probably just as well I thought twice about it.
Off to finish planning phonics lesson & start maths. Teaching time! We only started being taught time in P3 so they have really pushed it forward. It's quite a difficult thing for children to grasp so hope I do OK & don't confuse them. Have to watch the way I write my 'k' as naturally I do it different to the way they are used to.

Sounds like you're busy Starr! Er, when you have a minute, what are phonics? Hear quite a bit about them on the boards but don't think they did that when I was at school! Thanks for comment. On a roll now and done the next one! Here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=157319&cat=500&ppuser=19059). Think I'm scared if I stop I'll never start again!!

Flapsi phonics are the sound the letter makes rather than the letter name - so children learn to say 'a' as in the start of 'apple' rather than 'ay' as in the middle of 'away'.
It basically teaches children to sound out each part of the word rather than attempt to read it by memory like many of us were taught
you can find out more here (http://www.readwriteinc.com/page12.html) if you want
It has certainly caught Ewans imagination - he has been reading since he was 4 1/2 - and now he can read most things or at least make an educated guess at words he doesnt know by sounding it out. The only trouble is, is English has this pesky habit of slipping in letters where they arent needed - the silent 'k' thing really throws him  - we just call it 'one of those silly words' and leave it at that:D

Lesson went well today, forgot a couple of things but remembered in time so managed to include them. Teacher was pleased but said I need to have a stronger voice and presence. Although I come across as confident I am quiet. Managed behaviour though & had their full attention which was something I had worried about. Maths lesson tomorrow :)

just catching up on your lovely layouts and cards - really tired tonight so just popping on to say hi :)
have been at dentist today as DS fell yesterday and hurt his front tooth. the tooth has actually shifted across, giving him a big gap at the front like madonna! dentist says not to worry, it's only a milk tooth, but will prob go discoloured (at least it will match his other front tooth, lol, which he fell on a couple of years ago). poor thing is having trouble eating and talking as he keeps catching the tooth in its new position. he is SO accident prone, and it's always his teeth he falls on - dentist advised us to get him a crash helmet!!
we're staying with our very good friends in cardiff this weekend, so will pop back on sunday or monday to catch up with you all
hope you all have a lovely weekend, let's hope this sunshine stays for a bit

Ok...Challenge time
Aprils challenge is....
Now it is officially spring and the days are [at last] getting longer
An easy challenge for you...
Simply do a layout using light/airy colours, i want to see some 'fresh' layouts
Maybe some 'white space' or soft spring flowers....
(this may be a challenge for me due to my normal use of bold colours!!!)
Sorry just a quote of the monthly challenge as I need to complete this the weekend. I have gone back and tryed to remember this for the past couple of weeks, I guessed if I quoted it now its not as far to search back :D Just the matter of work in the way.

Its hp photosmart essential. Only a few weeks ago my pc deleated my whole pictures folder so I think the program is searching for a file that isnt there, but it is because I replaced it. :( Dont know how to bypass it though so this will have to do. Willow - love your Mo LO!! How did you do the frame? Also I want to invest in some paints - what ones do you recommend and who from? :P
Mary - nice LO. Who do you reckon is going tonight on I'd do anything?
Tash - sorry about your comp. Hopefully your bro can fix it. I lost the print disk for my printer and just downloaded it for free off the Epson website. Funnily enough it ended up a lot easier getting it to work after downloading instead of using the disk!:rolleyes:
I did another LO last night and am about to another now. Its amazing the effect organising your papers has on your creativity!!!
willowthewysp
20-04-2008, 12:44 PM
Morning Binky!
The frame on the Mo layout is an acetate frame by fancy pants.
As for paints, my all time fave paints are golden fluids, you can get them here (http://www.millers-art.co.uk/acatalog/Millers_Art_Fluid_Acrylics_64.html) they are expensive, but the BEST!
Cheaper paints that are good are Anita's all purpose acrylic paints, which you can get from hobbycraft or from here (http://www.daft4artncraftsonline.com/inc/sdetail/8359) failing that...any acrylic paint is good:)

Binky...the dabbers are ok, but IMHO, not worth the money....i have bought many of them and they dont 'dab' for long...the paint gets too thick and the spongey bit sort of frays..all my dabbers are used as normal paint tubes with paint brushes..i wont buy a dabber again!!!
Sam...11 layouts!! What was that lady on???!!WoWzers!!!
Mary...willowesque!!!LOve it!!!
Tiff..Glad you had a good time out...hard choice to make now though...biking or crafting....!!

Morning peeps....
Binks ~ I'm with Willow on the Dabbers! Don't buy them - they don't dab for long!
Sam ~ 11 LO's?!?!? How can anyone do that many LO's so quickly! Mind you, having said that I suppose I did that many when I did Shimelle's 'Album in a Day' class at PaperArts! ;)
Tiff ~ glad you had a good time at your friends

I'm off to my crop tonight - not prepared at all!!! Must get a move on - i keep paying £5 to attend but rarely actually produce a lo!!!
I'm glad you lot warned me off the paint dabbers - i nearly got some of those
Binky
21-04-2008, 06:06 PM
Kate - hia hun have fun at the crop! I'm relieved about the pre-warning on the PD's too!
Willow & Mary - thanks for the heads up on the paint dabbers. I guess its one more of those tools that "looks good in principal".
Sam - hope your day went okay?
I've been busy this afternoon making my Shimelle 25th of every month book. I didn't get the kit as I'm using up some of my old stash. I will upload it hopefully later tonight when its finished or tomorrow if it takes longer.

Any day off is great!!! Has been good though. Did some work & a spot of scrapping :)
Enjoy your crop Kate.
Are you doing Shimelle classes Binky? I had a look at some of the kits she was selling last night. Really liked 2 of them but can't really justify buying more when I have so much to use up too.

Evening all ~ this will look complicated but this is yesterdays and todays catch up post.
Mary ~ I love that cc circle lo, amazing. Thanks for the info on the dabbers too. i agree with you on the ot by the way ~ I actually took the whole day off :P
Willow ~ Love that acetate lo, I dont know where you get all your ideas from. Another thanks for letting us know about the dabbers, I have 3 but only becasue they were free. Dont really get on with paint if I am honest ~ thats why I love your work. Hope you have had a quiet/peacefull day.
Binky ~ I usually have no problems with computers but this has got me stumped. But hey word will do fine. I can agree with you that sorting your scrapping space/paper usually gives you creativity, only I seem to have lost mine  Hope you enjoy shimelle class, I was thinking off it but due to my working patterns most of my 25th would be a day in work anyways  Well done on using your own stash and not buying more though binky.
Starr ~ Thats silly about the school policies. Glad you got some scrapping in on your day off :)
Tiff ~ I hope you chosse scrapping... No really just do what you feel is right.
Sam ~ Glad to her you had fun at your crop and  at the lady who did 11 lo's, I take my hat off to her. Hope you had a good (ish) day at work.
Kate ~ Have a great time at crop tonight.
Well yesterday I was at work and today I have had to phone in sick. I hadnt been very well last night/this morning so I had to really working with food and all. The big problem is I wont be payed it  Anyways had a day not doing much, brought out my pink paislee 3/4 times to try and use it for willows monthly challenge, now I have it out and turned it into the weekly challenge. I have made one more card and uploaded the last 3 weeks onto my website so thats good :P ohhh and I have also raked a set of papers that I would never use so I am feeling all fuzzy inside <~ not sure if that last bit is normal

Tash...what can i say..your layout is awesome..love it:D
I have just had an optition appointment and my eyesight is perfect!
I have been having problems with my eyes...and apparantly the glands at the back which control the oils are blocked...really blocked, which is why i have had bouts of 'oily and blurry eyes'! Easily solved though by using a towel and hot water as a compress type thing!
Binky..i (for some unknown and stupid reason) have decided to do shimelles challenge too! But using my own stash..i have a 6x12 album which isnt used for anything else, so thought i could use that:)

hiya hunnies!!
2 entrants are not in the poll, The LO's weren't linked here and when i made the poll i went through here{the common room}:( (I did post last month to remind everyone to link here because some were nearly missed last month.)
there's 31 votes already counted so am not sure if it's feasible(sp) to shut the poll and re start it with the 2 entries that aren't included, however it seems a shame that the hard will go to waste... also the time taken to do the challenge.
what does everyone think?? shall i close the poll and do a new one or shall I just leave the poll up as it is??
Please try and post your answer in the Common Room ASAP
I'll post this in the bradette team threads too incase anyone misses it!

Congrats on the great news Binky :D Your courses sound really interesting, good luck with them. Know what you mean about HG, I was never really a big fan at first. I've always quite liked HG but it is really hard to find over here & QVC are overpriced in my opinion. Did pick up a few bits at the outlet but not the ranges I really wanted. Been trying to get the Urban Acres Blvd. for a while but as it is older it is proving an impossible task :( I looked at Little Bird's Tale a few weeks ago but glad I held off as the offer last night was really good :) Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. I'm determined to do a LOT of work tonight and hopefully get ahead as I want to take part in the CC without feeling guilty. Headmistress sat in on my maths lesson today, v.daunting but more informal than it will be with my uni tutor so good experience for me.

Binky...congrats hun:)
Rudolph bun is fine...i have started letting him out in the garden and getting him in is a mare!!! He is fast!!..I must sort out a friend for him soon though!
I had a worrying moment earlier...I bought a parma ham bone for Amber..she has one a week!! And she took it in the garden to enjoy as she usually does. However Raven went near her and she *went* for him...not in the sense that she was going to bite him, more of a warning:o This i cannot tolerate under any circumstances!
Its so unlike her, she has never shown a nasty side at all! I went up to her and she was fine, and when she had finished the bone, played with Raven as normal.
Im wondering if it might be because she is in season.....
I will have to monitor her very closely as i cannot take the risk of her *really* going for any of the children..
samsq
23-04-2008, 11:04 PM
Willow - that is something to be worried about. Do the boys know not to approach when she has her bone? One of our old dogs was wonderful until she had her bone, but try to take it away from her she would turn psycho. Hope Raven isn't too shaken by it.
Binky
23-04-2008, 11:19 PM
Starr - I'm sure you did fine with your headmistress in your class. Have to say don't blame you for being nervous...just the word "headmistress" makes me nervous!! Not nice creatures...I should know I have an aunt who is one! Never see her tho so thats okay!:lol:
Willow - That must have been a really frightening moment for you both. Maybe chat with your vet and see what they say. Could having her speyed calm her down about her food agression?
Ooooh Rudolf bun sounds such a fun bunny!!!
Sam - lucky you! it was lovely and warm and sunny here this afternoon too. Must be amazing to be near a beach.
I've finished my calendar book and am really happy with it. Just need some ribbons to add to the book rings to finish it off now.
The really cool thing about the photography course i'm doing is that they give you Photoshop 5 to keep as part of it!! I'm really looking forward to getting cracking on that one to step up my photography.

:lol::lol::lol:
She was really nice, but still a bit scary. Suppose that's part of her job being a manager, everything that goes on in school is her responsibility so she needs to ensure it is all done properly. Know what you mean about the word headmistress, it's a horrible word.
Hope Amber is more settled now Willow. Do they cover issues like that in the classes you are going to?

24-04-2008, 01:20 AM
Sam...Amber has never had a problem with food aggression before..this was totally out of the blue, and previously wouldnt have flicked an eyelid if the kids went near her..bone or no bone!..And the kids have never tried taking her bone away.
I have had some advice on how to possibly deal with this...to get all the kids involved in feeding her/giving her treats and her bones, instead of me being the one to do this all the time...will see how that goes.
Raven is not shaken at all by it..i wish he was as i had to bring him indoors away from Amber...he thought it was a fun game to get her to growl at him:o!!!

Have got to try and fit in my shopping tomorrow sometime and will be stocking up on the 'essentials' then!
Will anyone else be scrappin' in their PJ's over the weekend? I don't usually but as I don't have to go out and DH and the kids won't be in most of the weekend, I think I will this time!! :P

Mary - I'll be in my pjs throughout the wkend scrapping! Must stock up on more choccie...
Willow - what is the MK challenge?
Sam - hope you have a nice day at work
Does anyone know how many points you get for a mini-albumn? As I've made it for a CC challenge does it still count as points for the team?
I got my digital photography stuff today from the OU! Woohoo! I'm going to install the progs. They give you Photoshop 5 to keep and a video tutorial on how to use it! I've got the dvd for the first class so altho it supposed to start in two weeks I just might take a sneaky peak today.....:wub:

Starr ~ hope you enjoy your new stash purchases. Good to see you got on well with your maths class even though the head was sitting in.
Binky ~ Yes my posh pig avatar, cute eh, too expensive though. Yes I am a bit busy but busy is good :) nah haven’t got much confidence, always put myself down regarding lo’s. Will try harder though. Congratulations on getting into all your OU courses hun, well done. Cant wait to see your finished book for shimelle’s class. Woo hoo glad you get some free software etc on these courses. Looks like you will have so much fun Binky. Regarding the cc I have a list of 5 that I would like to attempt but I only 100% know I have the items for one of those classes. So I may just ‘watch’ this cc and pop in where I like.
Willow ~ have fun doing shimelle class. Sorry to hear about you dog ‘going’ for raven, I agree with everyone else, just keep an eye on him. Aww sorry to hear you cant scrap in the day, you will have to catch up in the evening.
Mary ~ love your book on you blog, amazing. Sorry to hear you are still having to work long days, not good. He he Mary @ the pj’s. I always scrap in my pj’s, but saying that as soon as I am through my front door I am in pj’s if I don’t have to go out.
Sam ~ glad to see you had fun on the beach. Not a nice day off with all that cleaning sam, shame you didn’t have a maid or something you could scrap all day then ~ bet we all wish that though eh. Regarding the cc, I have no supplies :( but I do have tomorrow up till Monday afternoon off work so that’s all good :) might go on a treat run tomorrow B)
Kate ~ Glad you managed to get the bunk beds together. Boo hoo that you cant cc much, you will have to catch up like willow :)
Tiff ~ Wow your cc plans sound great :)

Hello again peeps.....
Well I'm back from dentist....poor DS had to have his tooth drilled, abcess drained, temp filling put in AND he has to go back again Monday!
Absolutley loving your Shimelle projects Binks and Willow....when I get home I must try and upload some more pages. The prompt for the LO sounds interesting and will help with taking relevant photos later.
Hope you're all OK ~ speak later.

Afternoon all. Weather is not pleasant today - cold, wet & windy. Hope it is better with you lot.
Binky - love the book.
Tasha - spill the beans. What happens with Wiifit? Am I right in it being an exercise game?
Mary - I sympathise with DS. I must have had a megga session of grinding my teeth while asleep - my jaw is killing me. It feels similar to wisdom tooth ache - I've had those removed so know it's not that:(
I've placed an order for some lovely new goodies (http://www.crateandpaper.citymax.com/spring.html). I expect it will be about three weeks for them to arrive.

Sam its been fine here all day, I was hoping for some rain but no such luck :( Yes its like a huge board that has motion sensors in that detect balance. There are little fun games like skiing/tightrope walking and then there is yoga and musle training etc. Really good, been on there over 2 1/2 hours now. As for that link :nono: :P no really the sweet branch & blue hill papers look really nice :)

Beautiful albums Binky & Willow
Sam I already have the Katlin & Sweet Branch collections, they are gorgeous papers, especially the Katlin.
I'm never really ready for a CC, tend to just take it as it comes. I haven't bought any kits so usually just do the classes I like and match up my stash & photos to suit.
