Hi all. This is my first thread/post on this site.
I'm really really having trouble uploading my LO onto the Members gallery. I've read past threads on similar problems. And from that I've joined Photobucket and downloaded Firefox in an effort to solve the problem, but no such luck.
Everytime I try, the screen says 'You've successfully uploaded your pictures'. I'm then relocated to the members galley, but my picture is not there and in my profile it says I have no pictures uploaded.
Confused? Yep so am I!!!
Any help is gratefully recieved. TIA

I'm also a newbie having problems with uploading to the gallery - mine is that my file is too big. I've resized pic to less than 600x600 as I read that was max size, but still getting file too big message. What size should pic be, or do I need to use some other software? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Did you 2 have your problems sorted?
Gill, if your dpi is 72 and your photo is cropped to 600 x 600 pixels, then you SHOULD be set.
Bajan_mum: I'm not sure what is happening with you! :(
ETA: Ah, I see you must have sorted it; you have 2 LOs in your gallery :) Yay!

Thanks USA2UK, done the sizing, but don't seem to be able to change or find out what the dpi is on my software. Can I do this in Photobucket? - I haven't downloaded that yet.

Best tip is to download a free programe called PIX RESIZER does exactly what it says on the tin.
When you download it - you click on it to open it and then use it to find your picture in your files. Simply insert the size you want (I use 500 x 500) and away you go - its done.
There are other ways of resizing, but as a complete newbie this was recommended to me and I use it all the time now - even though I have Vista and have been told I can use that.
