I have made the template from a design by Geordiegirl, with her permission (thank you.) It cuts fine.:)

Like the circles I've now done some hearts...
Hope that they are ok, Alot harder to do than the circles.
but the time was worth it.
and thank you all for your comments on the scallop cirles.
Happy crafting.

This topper was designed with the DM software. It is made up in 3 parts, the fleur de lys edged mat, the ribbon mat and the lattice mat.

I cut the 3 pieces of the design out first, then in a contrasting colour cut just the outline so that I could make each section of the design a double thickness. I did cut the entire ribbon section out, rather than just the outline and threaded the ribbon through the double thickness. (I used concept 160 gsm card which is a little flimsy but always cuts well).

Then layer the 3 sections on top of each other with 3d foam, finish with a few mulberry flowers. I've stuck a few seed beads on to dress it up a bit and I think it makes a pretty topper. I was quite pleased with it!

I have converted the file to GSD, but I haven't cut it so I hope it is OK

Two versions of the daisy frame for you :)

I would love to see what you make with it.

These lacy mats were designed in DM. The plain circular mats are layered on top of the lacy mats to make them a bit more substantial. I have cut the lacy mats in 120 gsm paper and the plain mats in 160 gsm conqueror card.

Care is needed when lifting the lacy mats from the carrier sheet. The designs cut well in DM and I have made a conversion to GSD by making a PDF file, then importing into inkscape, saving as a DXF then importing into Robomaster and saving as a GSD. This method has been the subject of some discussion on the robochat forum and has provided a very good conversion, but the bad news is it takes a long time to cut the GSD file.

I have had to pare down the GSD file to reduce it to the required file size so I have left only 2 mats on it. The 3rd mat can be made by copying the 2nd mat and resizing it to 2.210 x 2.240 ins. The plain mats are just circles made to fit on top of the mats.

It has been pointed out to me that the GSD file has some extra lines in it (only visible if you zoom out) I have now put this right and the amended GSD file is now posted. Sorry about that!

Been looking through some of my files - I made this last year and thought it might make a nice topper for Easter, or even a sympathy card etc. I have converted it using the PDF>DXF>GSD method, but I have not cut the GSD so I hope it will be OK. I have put it through Brian's converter.

I was pleased with it once it was layered up and bedecked with ribbon and beads.

This is another one from last year done in DM and converted using the PDF method.
This one has six layers in all - I cut the three complete layers and then three of just the outline of each in a contrasting colour and then layered them up, decorated with beads and some mulberry flowers. Makes a nice topper for all occasions.

Sylvia x

Sorry, I forgot to put the file through Brian's converter - here it is!

Done in DM and converted to GSD by PDF method. When layered up and decorated with beads, ribbon and mulberry flowers it makes a pretty topper. I have used the pink and the silver concept card (160 gsm) for this topper.
I haven't tried to cut the GSD file so I hope it is OK, I have put it through Brian's converter.

Simply done in designmaster and converted to GSD via the PDF>DXF>GSD method. I have not cut the GSD file so I hope it will be OK. Makes a nice topper decorated with flowers - hope it will be of use

Here's another one! Although the lacy mat looks a bit fussy it cuts surprisingly well. The one on the photo is cut using concept 160 gsm, but I have cut it in 120 gsm paper as well. Designed in DM and converted to GSD using the PDF method. Makes a nice topper when decorated with flowers and beads etc. Hope you like!

This is a card I made with my daughter's birthday next month in mind. I hope it isn't too OTT - I do seem to get carried away sometimes with the ribbon and beads!

Done in DM and converted to GSD via the PDF method. The square frame could be used for scrapbooking and the round mats can be used separately also.

I've called this "more fripperies" because it's girly and feminine and probably OTT but I like it anyway and I hope you do too!

I've made it for a friend's birthday next month. Done in Designmaster and converted via the PDF method. I have cut each section in 160 gsm card and lined with a contrasting colour so it makes quite a stable card. The 2 squarish boxes which you can see if you zoom out are the base card onto which I have layered the other pieces. You will need to set the green line on the base card to cut as a dashed line for the fold.

I haven't cut the GSD file (which I have put through Brian's converter) and I've had to zip it 'cos it's too big with all the bits in it - I hope it cuts OK

This topper sits nicely on a 6 inch square card. Done in DM and converted via the PDF method. I have put it through Brian's converter. You will need to zoom out a bit to get all the parts. I cut it in160 gsm concept card and lined each section with a contrasting colour. I have been shopping for more ribbons and beads!!

Although it looks fiddly it cut really well and I am pleased with the finished result, I think I shall give it to my sister for her birthday next month.

Here's my latest bit of frippery! Done in DM as usual and converted via the pdf method. I have included the outline in the GSD file to make it easier to cut the lining in a contrasting colour. This has made the GSD file large again so I have zipped it. I have put the GSD through Brian's converter.
I almost forgot to say this topper will sit nicely on the front of a 5 inch square card!

I do love my ribbons and beads so here's a bit more frippery! The mats were simply done in DM but they are quite effective. Converted to GSD via the pdf method and put through Brian's converter. I've had to zip this one again 'cos it's over the limit. I've used silver mirri to "line" the mats and of course it has reflected off the flash when taking the photo so apologies for that! I've made the "linings" just a little bit bigger than the mats this time.
The topper sits nicely on a 5 inch square card.

Just thought I would do something "weddingy" for a change, although it could be used for "good luck" as well. I just can't seem to keep away from the ribbons and beads so I hope you are not too fed up with them by now! Done in designmaster and converted via the pdf method. Sits on a 5 inch square card. Hope someone can use it.

I made this card on behalf of my granddaughter for her boyfriend's mother's birthday - done in DM and converted via the pdf method.

Sorry about the photo quality - it looks slightly out of focus and so doesnt show the detail too well.

I've just put this card in my gallery and one or two have said they would like the template, so here it is. The reason I hesitated before posting it was that it is a bit of a fiddle to do. It cut quite well, but a lot of patience is needed to lift it from the carrier sheet and to poke out all the little bits (it took me ages) but I was quite pleased with the result!

It sits nicely on a 6 inch square card.

Done in DM and converted via the PDF method. I have included the outline in the GSD file so that a "lining" can be easily cut

These mats are quite useful and sit nicely on a 5 x 7 card. I've put some Faerie Poppets decoupage on mine for my granddaughter's birthday next month. I have "cuttlebugged" the smaller mat and of course the whole thing is decorated with beads as well. Hope someone can make use of the mats.

Made this for for son and DIL's anniversary next month - done in DM and converted via the PDF method. I have included the outline with the GSD file to make a "lining" for the mats. Sits nicely on a 6 inch square card

I decided I needed some mat and layer bits for my 3" square minicards. so here are some of my efforts. I've only got a screenshot to show you at the moment.

With the pinked circle try pricking two small holes in each V and sewing on some tiny beads - I found this quite a pretty effect but the card I made I used a wizard die for cutting the circle so I won't cheat and show it!!!!!:nono: But having done that I think it so much easier to have robo do the cutting especially as I nipped my thumbpad in the Wizard roller...ouch!

If you don't want the cut out elements just leave out the green cutting lines otherwise it's elementary

I've been playing some more and come up with these nested minimats. But they will resize easily using the position settings option (or by dragging a corner handle)

I have just discovered how to do these Nesters in Inkscape an easier way then I was doing it the first time.....The GSD version was done by turning the SVG image into a jpeg via the Paint option then importing into Robomaster and then used the Autotrace function and manually expanded the shape using Robomaster 2.10 version.......If you use the 5.10 version then you just use the Offset Shapes tool........Hope this makes sense......:):):comp::comp:
