so whats the posting date for these cards ladies? :)
I cant believe it! I just spent 10 mins looking for our thread, then realised it was a new one for April
Time is flying by! My points are up to date too, not that there are many there!
Hey Sammy :) I have no idea when the cards need to be sent by. I still need to get them finished :o

Monica
01-04-2008, 09:32 PM
Hi All
Just to confirm the postal date is the 5th of April...do we want an extra week or are we just sticking to that date???:P
Sparkly-Sammy
01-04-2008, 10:03 PM
lol @ louise not knowing what the date was :D:D:D
well mine are nowhere near finished but if you give me an extra week then they will be in exactly the same state this time next week!
I am confident i can get mine finished for posting on Saturday ( i am working my a$$ off as we speak to get them done!!!!)
hows everyone else doing????
:)
Not very well! Mine are nowhere near done either. I will, as Sammy puts it, work my a$$ off to get them done tho
Sparkly-Sammy
01-04-2008, 11:57 PM
its all in the delivery lol
melaniejgage
02-04-2008, 09:54 AM
Mine are nowhere near done either but I tried very hard to motivate myself last night by placing stash on my table...that was it!
I am pretty sure they will be posted on Saturday though as David goes to Brussels tomorrow night so I will occupy myself by scrapping and everything else is banned until I do my team cards!
CarolynP
02-04-2008, 10:10 AM
Mine are not started and I have a cj to do first...but don't worry about that cos I have a few cunning ideas and should hopefully get them posted on time or very near.
Will sort out points later this morning if that is ok cos sig NOT up to date.

Picked up a belated bday present this mornign from my best friend in oz. in it was a gorgeous billabong bikini, a blingy australia flag car sticker made out of gems (don't know whether to scrap i or stick it on my car!!) and most importantly....2 boxes of BBQ shapes!!! Every aussies favourite biscuits!! Hence Im devouring a box now!!!

From Argos we got some plastic drawers for the bathroom...which are now assembled and filled and mean I have been able to reclaim my washing up bowl for the kitchen. It had been sat on the floor full of assortedc bathroom things. We also got a filing cabinet that Darren is assembling now and will hopefully mean that we can reclaim the dining room floor from all his work stuff. Oh and some plastic shelves as a make do for now measure for DS's room.

My points are as shown in my siggie - I think I added everything there.
I am hoping that after this afternoon I will be a bit more with it, I don't think any morning has passed as slowly as this one since I was last at work
Sparkly-Sammy
02-04-2008, 03:47 PM
well I have looked at my cards a bit more - not done a great deal to them - put them in a pile lol :D
printed out my lil piccie of me to go on it though!
slow and steady and all that lol
:)
melaniejgage
02-04-2008, 04:31 PM
I really like your style Sammy! I cut the cardstock for my cards (2nd time I have done this but this time as portrait!) and placed them neatly in a pile...and there they have remained for near on 2 weeks now! And I am even thinking I don't want to use that card anymore so may just have to recut some more!
Sparkly-Sammy
02-04-2008, 09:00 PM
lol Mel
Well now i have them laid out infront of me 5 in a row - the other 5 patiently waiting!!!
The photo's have now been cut to size and gently placed on top - not stuck down or anything lol
I'm thinkin this is it - this is the night that the cards become complete - hahahaaaaaaaaaaaa yeh course it is!!!:D:D:D
oh and also the spare sheet of card I had for any mistakes DS has chopped up unto triangles for me so if this doesn't all go to plan tonight thenit's tuff luck lol
Sparkly-Sammy
02-04-2008, 10:02 PM
Now I know I am sat here talking to myself tonight but miraculously I am actually getting on with these team cards - is it a problem that mine are mostly made up of my own handwriting?
i'm wondering if I have done the right thing now?
CarolynP
02-04-2008, 10:27 PM
Mine are also going to have handwriting on....well...possibly....either that or be typed.....which I suppose is obvious really isn't it.
DH has been in a treating mood today....he came home from town with a Dymo junior embossing lable maker and 2 spare tapes that he had picked up in WHS, and then tonight he ordered two books from Amazon for me!

Hi All looks like everyone has been getting stuck into those cards!! I've been completely useless and managed to get completely distracted AGAIN.
What a way to get distracted though...took Samurai for a walk on the beach after work as it was gorgeous, then walked around poole harbour to see if any of my kitesurfer mates were on the water.
Texted my friend Greg to see why he wasnt out in perfect conditions, turned out he had been out all afternoon, and invited samurai and i up to his to watch the sunset. He lives across the road from poole harbour amazing views!!! So we sat there polishing off a btle of wine watching the sunset and the kitesrufers that was left.
Around 8:00 realised I was going to be late for salsa so finished samurais walk and went home got to salsa about 9 then danced the night away til 1am...little tired this morning:blink: But had such a fab evening!!!

Hi Jacqui....keeping up with the Shimelle class....erm.....well I did a couple of LO last week, didn't fancy one of the others and the 4th I want to do in the summer when I can get a lot of good shots of the city...a mini book portrait of Lancsaster.
This week I've not done anything apart from think....have a minibook sort of planned, but not photographed all the house yet or actually done anything...am going to combine the two ideas for the book I think. Not got today's prompt yet.
How are you getting on?

03-04-2008, 04:48 PM
Hiya,
Am looking forward to getting those cards to sort :)
I am feeling so much better now that the funeral is over and have even managed a bit of scrapping. I've done a DLO about my grandad and another with a poem I wrote yesterday and the service sheet and now I feel I can move on to other things. So wait for it because i am going to post my challenge :)
sarahbert1536
03-04-2008, 04:55 PM
I originally came up with this idea because the timespan for doing my challenge coincided with my birthday. However recent events have made this challenge more important than ever for me.
I challenge you to create a celebration of you.
Celebrate who you are as a person, what you have achieved or what you would like to be remembered for. Whatever you choose to celebrate about yourself I want to see fun and happy LOs. And I'll be gving even bigger applause to anyone who can manage to include my favourite colours in their LO. That's pink & purple if you hadn't guessed
melaniejgage
03-04-2008, 05:05 PM
Hi Sarah, it's lovely to see you back and hear that you are feeling much better.
Great challenge! Have my mind ticking over on how I am going to go about it...especially including pink & purple!
sarahbert1536
03-04-2008, 06:00 PM
You don't have to use pink and purple if you don't want to

03-04-2008, 06:19 PM
i did mean to ask do we get any points for the team cards - could they be the same as atc and is there any points for them or could we sat they are mini books and get points that way - seems as shame with people putting so much effort into them not to get some points back? what does everyone else think or know of this????
CarolynP
03-04-2008, 06:27 PM
Glad to hear you are feeling better Sarah and love your challenge.
Jacqui, as far as I am aware we don't get points for atc, but I suppose if we all make a cover and bind these together when we get them home then we could say they are minibooks, we will all have done what could be 10 pages and then a cover/binding which is easily as much work as a minibook...however I've no idea what the rules would say.

Hi all, sorry been a bit awol the last couple of days..... probably will only have a few mins of PC time each day for the next week or so! Madness at work as it's our half year closing (one of the bid disadvantages of working for a US company.... figures mad!).
Hope all are well I'll try to catch up properly next visit. Oh and my cards are finished I'll get them to the post on Saturday morning, just expect them to take a few days longer that UK post will take!

I've just had a look at all the projects that are in my mind and that I want to do over the weekend...and I appear to have at least 7 of them...and this is the weekend that my in-laws are paying us a visit to deliver DS's bed and will expect to see us tidy and organised.
I somehow think I will have to pick and choose what I do when!
Oops...forgot to add yesterday's Shimeele to the list....make it 8 and possibly 9 when todays comes!

Hi girls,
Would it be ok if I sent my team cards on Monday as I didn't manage to get as much done yesterday as I planned? I'll post first class so they will probably get there by Tuesday - hope that is ok.

Morning all!!
Carolyn did you give me a breakdown of your points??? Not sure if I missed it.
Sarah great to see you back and what a fanastic challenge!!! I've been wanting to do a Layout on 'ME' for my 34th birthday and just havent got around it....story of my scrapping actually.:D
I did actually email scrapdolly when we first mentioned these team cards and was told we couldnt get any points for them.
As carolyn/scrapyjacqui said though its an awful lot of work for no points. I dont think we can claim them as a minibk as its 10 repetitive cards but maybe a tag bk or homemade bk???
Monica
04-04-2008, 10:38 AM
Oh Kirsteen
NO! heheh just joking!!!
I'll probably send mine Monday, i have a big party on tonight so cant see myself finishing them on time:rolleyes:
Weather on the weekend is supposed to be rubbish so perfect for scrapping!! I hate being indoors when its sunny.
CarolynP
04-04-2008, 10:49 AM
Monica. there is a breakdown of my points on a post somewhere....sorry didn't pm it. (eta: Post number 28 oin page2)
We should be able to claim something for them, esp if we do bind them...but if scrapdolly says we can't then I suppose we can't cos if we suddenly all claim for a tagbk or something it will be obvious.

Hi everyone! Sorry not been on for abit, been a bit pre-occupied. I have had a few health worries over the last couple of weeks and just had a few tests done. But now that they have all been taken/done, I am just waiting for results which will be next week. In view of all this I haven't got cards done either, but will def. send them first class on Monday. I am a bit pleased that a few of you guys will be doing that too :)

I think the cards are the last thing on your mind then!!! I only got mine done because I am working all weekend - Tomorrow is proper work - Sunday is my crop and I want to do the weekly challenge then if i can.
You guys got anything exciting on?
As usual, working tomorrow. I am hoping that the two bitches we are waiting on to have their pups have them normally or else I could be at work more than at home this weekend

Morning all.
Melanie my cold started yesterday!! Seems to be the weekend for it!
I'm trying to finish getting this place in order so that I can happily scrap all afternoon!! that or set up DHs new laptop and have a play (he's working so I'll actually get a go if i'm quick...LOL).
Well off to the PO, the shopping and the photo shop (yeh some new photos to scrap!!).
See ya later ladies.

Hope everything is ok Louise.
I seem to be starting a cold as well, croakey and achey. In-laws visiting this afternoon and lots of clearing to do before then as they are bringing some furniture with them. Team cards are cut, but I did 2 LO last night instead. My collage books arrived this morning, so now I want to get messy with paint and paper...although I know I'll do nothing as well as the artists in the books, but they are inspirational which is the main thing.

My cards went postal this morning. They will take between 3 and 5 days according to the PO!!
I'm not too happy with my prints. I used the local shop, and to be honest they are smaller than I would have liked and all seem very dull. I think I'll print one off on my home printer and see if there is a difference (I was trying to save ink!!).
I'm done with my cleaning but still no scrapping done.

Morning,
No snow here this morning, bright blue skies but flippin' cold out there! Off to play with the horses:) I am sure they will be really pleased about that. Oh well, it will warm them up at least

Sorry, the Australian in me gets excited when it snows. That and I bought a whole heap of stash at the start of winter based around snow...did we get any up until now!
Coming down really thick here now but I dont think it will settle because it is already wet on the ground. Bailey is trying his hardest to catch EVERY flake
Did you decide on pets in the end Sammy?
Sparkly-Sammy

Well woke up to about 4 inches of snow - all melted within an hour or two - more forecast though
I decided on pets and then proceeded to manage one whole layout of.......Alex - so the planning ahead didn't really work lol its an awesome layout though...........well i like it!
Roxy (pup) thought the snow was awesome too - shall post some piccies when i download them.
hows you ladies?

Morning all
Well what interesting weather we had over the weekend. Took Samurai for a walk on the beach around 6:30pm and did our usual route, down the beach then over the other side to walk around Poole harbour. It was an extreme low tide so took him out into the MIDDLE of Poole harbour and then had a bit of a giggle running around in the mud getting mucky.
Funny thing was I turned around and there was some guy walking out towards us took me awhile but finally realised it was a friend of mine who had recognised us , Samurai of course charged straight towards him and greeted him with 2 muddy paw prints on his jeans....ooops!! hehehe
Finished my cards and I'm quite chuffed with them...in the post today

Morning!
First lot of cards have arrived this morning from Scrapyjacqui and I have a word of warning for anyone who hasn't finished theirs yet - avoid the liquid pearls - I have just had to seperate all of Jacqui's cards because they had become stuck together in the post.
They are gorgeous though :)

Am almost there with my cards. 8 have all the major parts glued down and just need a few finishing touches and the 9th has all the bits ready to assemble, but I have to do it slightly differently to the other. Having said which they are all different in some ways, varying placem, ent, ribbons etc.
Huge congratulations to Kirsteen!
I am going to have to make a huge appology about the team cards, I was finishing them off yesterday as my mum called in a hysterical state about our 23 year old pony Toya. She had been running aroung stupid in the field and slipped really badly. I suspected as she had just eaten that she had colic. We called the equine vet who took an hour to get to us (she was on another emergency call) and we were still with her at 9:30pm. Eventually the pain relief kicked in and all our prayers were answered because she started to respond to the treatment. We managed to get her into her stable but had to watch her every few hours during the night. This morning she seems ok, we really all thought the worst last night.
So, I am SOOOOOOOOOO sorry but the cards are looking up at me right now, unfinished :( I PROMISE I will get them done tonight for tomorrow posting.
Sorry again guys, I feel bad :(

Louise hope the pony is better now.
I've been totally AWOL and expect to be for another few days. So far I've only done 1 LO this month and it's a super simple one!
I'm afraid to say I used a lot of stickles on my cards so I hope they dont get too stuck on the way over the channel! Should be OK as they had over a week to dry before I sent them (I'm so lazy at finishing what I start sometimes!!).
Well back to the toil... catch you all later.

CarolynP
08-04-2008, 03:17 PM
That looks like it would be enough to get you going. I have a heat gun and some embossing powders which were lent to me by a friend....use either ink or versamark as a sticky base depending on if I want an underlying colour or not.
sarahbert1536
08-04-2008, 04:36 PM
I've got the ink and the embossing pen from that set and some of the same make's other embossing powders and they are ok. I agree with Carolyn that the set would get you going
Sparkly-Sammy
08-04-2008, 05:22 PM
that set would get you going hun but I would advise you get some versamark ink - its way better - lots stickier!!

Oh and team cards are sent! Not without issue though...got half way to post office and realised that I can't just write Sarah on the envelope and expect them to arrive so walked home to get address! Then got a complete idiot at the post office that didn't understand I needed 2 lots of stamps, 1 lot to go inside and the other to post the envelope! A good 5 mins of explaining and a "miss, miss! The stamps go on the outside!!" then another 5 mins of explaining...i think we got there!

And Sammy those are gorgeous dogs. Best not show OH Roxy's pic he already asks after Mon's rotty cause he'd love one
Thanks for understaning guys :) I have just got in from work, so am off to see how Toya is getting on today. I spoke to mum at dinner time and she had just got her out in the field. She said she was ok, such a relief it is all over tbh.
When I get back I will finish the cards off. Its so anoying because I only have a few things to stick down, the hard work was all done
Sammy - Those pics are grrreeeaaat! They look like a lovely bunch :)
Monica - I have that heat gun, it is good. But as Sammy says the pigment isn't that sticky. I will def. be investing in some Versamark soon. I also LOVE Blonde Moments embossing powder, they have some really gorgeous colours.
LOL at Mel, that is soooooo something I would do

Toya is much better now thanks Sammy, she is a bit stiff from the fall she had. Monday was so awful, my mum was convinced she was going to die. I think we were so shocked about how quickly the colic came on. She is an old girl at 23 and the shock of it all was alot for her. Last of the pain relief was given today so we will see how she is tomorrow without it.

Hello everyone.
Thanks for the PM Monica. Sorry I've been absent but I been having trouble with my internet connection at home - keeps dropping out every 5 seconds!! It's also my last week at my current job and my days are a bit hectic as I have no one to hand over to so I'm having to write an idiots guide, currently 8 pages long, for whoever they eventually hire.
After spending 10 minutes trying to remember my UKS password I've managed to log on at work, I'm currently hiding in an unused office, to post this and I hope that my home connection issues will be resolved soon.
Hope that everyone is well.
Kirsteen, a very big congratulations to you and your husband.

So I've been scrapbooking!! Well only 1 page but it's really detailed and has taken hours so far, and still not done all of it! I even used my sewing machine (how out of practice was i!!).
Hopefully I'll get a second (quicker) page done before DH gets home.
Hope all are well today.

Just a quick hello from Florence as I went for my train to the airport to return home. :( Have had such a wonderful time and have eaten far too much gelati and drank way too many espressos! Have had a great time though.

School is on strike today so I'm taking Ross to Disney! I'm dreading going back to work tomorrow after two unplanned days off, bet there is going to be a mountain of stuff waiting for me.

Hello
Just to let you all know that Nicki's cards arrived this morning so I will get them sorted out and back to you very shortly. It might be the end of the week before I can post them though because it looks like I'm going to be without my car for a couple of days. I went out this morning and took my Mum and Gran to take the donations from the funeral to the Dog's Trust, I had dropped them both off and was on my way into town to do a couple of jobs when a dog ran out in front of me. I slowed down but instead of running across the road it turned and ran straight into the front of my car, rolled over, yelped and ran off leaving me to survey the damage. As I got out to discover my bumper is all cracked and my number plate is just gone said dog was running off up the road.
So I've been to the police station and reported what happened although I think it was either a stray or most likely from the travellers site which is close by where it ran out. And I've finally stopped shaking but I think I need a lie down
Kirsteen
15-04-2008, 04:37 PM
Aw Sarah, that's awful glad you and the dog are safe and sound though - what a fright you must have got. That is a shame about your car, hope you can get it sorted out asap. That is good news that Nicki's cards have arrived.

you settled your nerves now hun? hows the car? I'm assuming no news on the dog as you didn't know where he went?
sarahbert1536
16-04-2008, 11:22 PM
My nerves are much better today thanks. The car now as a new numberplate and OH informs me that when work is quieter they are going to have it in to replace the bumper and do some other jobs that he's been putting off and I can have one of their courtesy cars for a week or so (the advantages of an OH in the motor trade  )
I've not heard anything else about the dog but no one else had reported the incident when I went to the police station yesterday so they didn't think I'd hear anymore. I can only hope that the way it ran off means that like me it was shocked rather than injured

Glad to hear your ok Sarah. Its not very nice hitting anything whilst driving. Sounds like the repairs are in hand, I hope the dog is ok too.

Wow Monica you don't hang around do you?
Team cards are all sorted and ready to go in the post later today. Now all I need is for the rest of the ATCs for the CC swap to arrive and I can have a craft room free of piles of envelopes  OH thought I was becoming strange because there were piles everywhere; an ebay pile to be posted, team cards and this week ATCs too
Can't wait for the cards to arrive now :)
Hope everyone has a good weekend, we are hoping to go to the caravan this weekend. Cant wait :) :) :) :)

I am well looking forward to getting these cards - and then going to play with the bind it all to put them together lol
the idea of nipping off for the weekend sounds fab!
Hi Sammy!
I'm not sure what I am going to do with mine, I dont have a bind it all. Maybe I could put a ring through them all and hang them up somewhere?
OMG Jonny Cash has just come blaring out of the kitchen!! DH is making breakfast this morning, obviously "Walk the Line" is helping him along  Men!
sarahbert1536
18-04-2008, 12:35 PM
Morning!
Hope that the cards start landing with you soon. I keep looking at mine and trying to decide how to bind them but I've not had any ideas yet.
Then again ideas would mean i might have to do something and at the moment I can't see that happening, I have just got no energy. Think I'm going to be making a trip back to the doctor, he told me last year that it was quite normal and would improve but while my mood is definitely better most of the time I've still got no energy :(

i need to try and find a scrapping shop.

Hello!
Glad the cards are reaching people. Am still undecided how to bind mine but I did by some funky coloured book rings today so they might get used some how.
Jacqui you sent more than enough postage, however I'd already sealed the envelope up before I went to the post office so you will be getting a little something from me next time I go to cause chaos in there.
I'm feeling a bit more with it today thank goodness and have just completed this week's challenge, my first for a few weeks. I should like to get out in the garden but since I am stuck inside I am going to craft :)

But guess what!!!! The athletes have a big sports meet on today which they're going to ( bit dull for me to be there all day) but they have to drive past disneyland!!!!!! woohoo!!!
I've lined up a date with Mickey!!! which should i go to though disney land or disneys california adventure park???

Oh you wont beleive what happened...I was sooo excited yesterday but as luck would happen they went the wrong way so didnt take the highway that went past disney and went straight to the athletics meet.
So I was stuck at an athletics meet bymyself all day (they were all competing) I would have preferred sitting by the pool at the apartment.
they've gone to another meet today and the weather is pretty ordinary, s o just sitting in the aprtment watching tv.
I miss samurai and feeling a little lonely. Cant beleive Ive come all this way and seen nothing.

Has my return stunned you all into hibernation?
Oh and who is doing the Castles book...we visited 3 castles in 3 days and I was wondering if I could lift your idea please?
 Carolyn! I am not hibernating, wish I was though. Back to work :(
Glad you had a fab time, I am sure it is Mel that is doing the castles book.
We went to Newark yesterday, which was nice. It had a great craft shop where I managed to get some horsey papers, a few pens and a couple of versacolour pads. Just got to get round to using them.
melaniejgage
22-04-2008, 10:02 AM
Of course you can lift my idea Carolyn! I am doing it more out of a need to fit all my castle pics into 1 album instead of having pages here, there and everywhere! :D
I haven't done much scrapping (or talking) at all lately. Did 1 simple LO on the weekend which I am yet to upload. And this week seems like a complete write off in terms of getting spare time to scrap.
CarolynP
22-04-2008, 10:11 AM
3 Castles in 3 days and without the kids made me realise how often we do visit castles, esp on holiday as we always find several to take the kids to as well! Thanks for letting me lift the idea!
Trying to decide if I need a Bind-it-All. the idea is very tempting and I have enough birthday money. But it is a lot to spend on one item...hmm, decisions decisions!

hiya everyone
sorry I've been MIA for a couple of days - this working for a livin lark is taking up all of my time - had puppy class today too Roxy is doing really well but she just doesn't concentrate as well when the group is full - think I need to evaluate whether its worth it or not at the end of this block of lessons - thing is I really enjoy going - don't know really.
Anyway - does anyone know what the points are for a mini book as I have done one - haven't got a piccy yet but will get one asap.
:)
Just checking in on what has been going on today - didnt take much because it has been so quiet!! I am not sure we will make it to a new thread this month  I wish I could claim that I have been too busy scrapping to do much chatting, but as you can see from my points, that is not the case!
Hi Sammy! Wow, well done on your mini book :) Cant wait to see the pictures!
CarolynP
22-04-2008, 11:31 PM

I've got one for my Shimelle class.
Sparkly-Sammy
23-04-2008, 12:08 AM
cool thanks carolyn - at least its some points for April - a lousy attempt - are we claiming points for the team cards also as a book?
melaniejgage
23-04-2008, 09:40 AM
Hi all,
We can't claim points for the team cards apparently. Pity considering all the effort that went into them!
CarolynP
23-04-2008, 10:15 AM
Tis a pity...but we do these things for fun not for points I suppose. I still think they should be claimable as a mini book though. However dem be de rules...
I seem to have done things other than LO this month and my mini book keeps expanding and could easily have been 2...but I want to keep it all as one book. How are you getting on with the course Jacqui?
Did my first class on the painting and drawing evening class I've signed up for yesterday...think it went ok, we were sketching a tin can, a ball and a lemon!

hi all sorry not be on but have been busy with essays and school hols and they dont really mix - a few late nights, have 3 weeks til my next one is due so some scrapping time i think.
carolyn have done some of shimelles classes for nwlh class but some i havent really liked the look of and some i think are too similar but am enjoying it - cant beleive its the last week.
well looks like youngest might have 'slapped cheek' am hoping everyone else is already immune as eldest has gcse's in two weeks
how is everyone else?
CarolynP
23-04-2008, 04:33 PM
Mel, it isn't artistic...I didn't claim to have pictures that look like they are meant to! Still, I think I will enjoy it, esp as we get to try out lots of different things.
I've found the same with the Shimelle class, some things are similar and some I am combining, which is why my minibook keeps growing! Then there are several things I'd like to do but am waiting for a summer day to and take the photos etc. I see it in the same way I would a book I think ... a place for ideas etc and not to be done everyday just as per the instructions.
Hope your eldest doesn't catch it, but surely that is unlikely, although virrulant isn't it normally just younger kids who get it and one of those things you can have without necessarily realising?
I've had DD off school all week with a throat virus thingie. Am hoping she will be well enough to take to the St Georges day parade at teatime as DS is getting his silver award certificate there for cubs. Will be the last time he wears cub uniform as he starts scouts tomorrow.

Hello, hope that everyone is well.
Thank you to everyone for the team cards and thanks to Sarah for sorting and posting them - do I owe you another stamp?
I think that I've now sorted out my crummy internet connection and I now should be able to access the internet for more than 5 secs at a time. Being without if for so long really highlights how much we have been taking it for granted - online banking, AA route planning, shopping for stash and of course being able to get on here.
I have started my new job and so far it's going well. I'm learning lots and at the moment I'm doing lots of stock shifting and shelve stacking which is the most exercise I've done in a long while.
I'm off to do some scrapping but I'll pop back later to see if anyone's around.

Happy belated Birthday Kirsteen & happy Birthday Melanie. I'm off to have a peek at the classes for the cyber crop. i completely forgot about it, anyways I always get so lost with the CC here as it is so big, I always find I can never keep up with the chat and stuff, and also it seems to go on for weeks before and after! LOL. I'll be participating in a mini one next week over at Scrapitude (I think they are still a sponsor so should be OK to say it!). Kimmy is organising a mini CC on Saturday which is national scrapbooking day. I always like the atmosphere as it is smaller and really friendly. Pop by and say hi if you get a chance.

Hi all. Happy belated birthday Kirsteen. Welcome back Mon.
Yup, I've got the same as DD, she is still rough and some people are telling us it is a weeks rather than days thing. :(
Managed 6 LO for the CC this weekend, mainly from the challenges as the classes looked to need rather more concentration and co-ordination than I have just now. Think I will be leaving it a few days before putting them away as one or two may need an extra something added, speed scrapping is not my thing!
