I am definitely here.

I have done 4 page packs for Sat, and as one of those is a mini album, and given the rate that I scrap at, that should be plenty for 24 hours. And I always have my first aid album as my back up - its been so long since I started that that I probably have some new injuiries to add to it.

I'm here and probably over-prepared by now! But that's fine, the page packs will keep for other crops :) I'll probably do a bit more too cos I seem to be in the swing of it at the moment :)

I'm here too, hope Tiger turns up soon Ruth.

I have PA and 24hr crop, ideas are forming in my head, but have no pictures no real plans, in fact totally unprepared. In fact that is probably why I am on here, it easier to chat than plan.

Ouch!! That sounds nasty!

Can't believe this lovely weather today. I'm off to walk the dogs in a mo and then back for a nap before going to work tonight.
Everybody set for the 24hr crop then? Was up til 2.30 this morning sorting out some page kits! Mind you I didn't start until 4pm. I've got 19 kits for the next 3 days. Do you think thats enough?:P

I think I may have been a bit ambitious...............................I'll be lucky if I complete 9. LOL.

MandyKay

Liz were you going to PA tomorrow and did you want a lift?

I still have no page kits. I think I shall use the time at PA planning page kits for Saturday.

Are you all well this morning?

The crop was fantastic, raised loads of money for charity and lots more still to come in.

Hils
06-04-2008, 02:52 PM
Nope, still suffering  Feel exhausted, and it can't be from too much chatting cos I didn't do that much....
Had a great time tho, looking forward to the next one! :)

Wow, cropped out, after PA on Friday and the Charity crop yesterday.
It has taken most of the morning to unpack and tidy away from it.
Feel more refreshed now after a nice snooze.
It was really good fun though. I hope the others made it alright.

Haven't even unpacked yet!! Have slept for most of the day and then took the dogs for a walk and got caught in a snow storm.

Great fun yesterday though. The last three hours were the hardest. I had to have a power-nap at about 4.30am!<_<

Hope you feel better soon Hils.

Hi Ladies :)

How is everyone? Recovered from your crops? I wish I would have felt up to joining you at the 24 hour crop but I had no energy.

Our kids are on hols here, so it's a bit chaotic but I have been playing with the cricut & am so pleased with it :)

Ruth, any news about Tiger?

hugs, Julia :)

Hi Julia - my DS is off school too this week so I took the week off and we've had a lovely time doing nothing!! Last day today though as I'm back to work on Monday and he's back to school on Tuesday :P

No 24 hour cropping here - how straight were the girls able to cut stuff at hour 20???

Fizzydrink
11-04-2008, 09:27 PM
Hi Julia, no, no sign of Tiger yet.
Had some annoying crank calls earlier in the week - I had put my phone no. on posters, and first we got kids phoning up and saying 'Meow', then I got a woman shouting obscenities, then the kids again. The really suspicious thing is that the same morning I had a call from a guy offering a professional poster service with a freephone number (ie to avoid crank calls). But as I'd already postered and didn't want to go round again I said no. So, 2 weeks with no calls then the minute I decline his freephone number I get calls. I can't help feeling he's trying to drum up a bit of business.

Are you cropping this month Julia?

Glad you've enjoyed your week Helen - I've had a couple of days off and have a couple next week too.

Ice Angel

:angry:sounds a bit worrying Ruth.

Helen, there was plenty of straight cutting at Hr20 but I am missing a couple of fingers now!! Lots of fun though.

Hils
12-04-2008, 03:06 PM
Helen, I've no idea if there was any straight cutting at hour 20, I was tucked up in bed by then!
Sorry there's still no news on Tiger, Ruth :(
Julia, hope you've got a bit more energy now :)
I'm off to London tomorrow to cheer Alex on in the London marathon :D Anyone else want to offer a last-minute sponsorship? :) The money is going to Sense, a charity for the blind-deaf.

Hang on in there G.
I went for a shop for some 'sensible shoes' this morning. Got some I like - needed something I could wear with a skirt or cropped trousers but still walk in, for our trip to Rome next month.

I'm cropping in Bracknell tomorrow with Denise and my UKS team mates. Then looking forward to Modscraps next Sat - who's NOT going?

WeeHaggis
20-04-2008, 09:29 PM
Humph - I'm not going to the Mod Scraps crop  Obviously!!

But I did have a little ickle accident at the shop the other night - was madly impatient waiting on Ellie to upload the Sassafras Lass papers. I think that because I'd e-mailed demanding they go up she made me wait 24 hours by uploading the Pink Paislee stuff first - and of course I had to buy some of that. She is bad.:lol:

I went cropping yesterday so don't suppose I can feel too hard done by.

Fizzydrink
20-04-2008, 10:28 PM
Yes the Pink Paislee is lovely isn't it.

I had a good time in Bracknell - managed to finish off a mini book and made 3 cards with the scraps, so pretty good going for me...

Hils
21-04-2008, 11:08 AM
That is very good going for you Rooty!
I'd just like to say that I still haven't bought any stash.... the last time was at Ellie's last crop, and that was less than £5 worth.... :D Not cos it's not tempting of course - it's cos the thought of blowing lots of stash cash in Houston is so much more tempting!

:D:D:DSitting here with a glass of wine, the laptop and a new copy of Scrapbook Inspirations...................................... .....:D:D:D

I probably should be digging the garden in the lovely sunshine. What's everyone else up to today?? (apologies to those who are currently at work)

Fizzydrink
24-04-2008, 07:41 PM
No, I was home fromwork by then too Liz - no wine here though as I'm taxiing Maddie out to Guides tonight.

Hils
24-04-2008, 07:52 PM
Sounds good Liz! I was home by then too :) I've had a nice dinner (curry) and now have a drink by my side :)

WeeHaggis
24-04-2008, 08:15 PM
I'm home now too - with Mario Kart for the wii - but after three races I think it is safe to say I am complete rubbish!!! So I'm making dinner (after a fashion )

Never thought to check the mail to see if SI was in - I got the Dares book delivered to work today so am looking forward to reading that.

Fizzydrink
24-04-2008, 11:10 PM
Got my SI - read it now. Keep meaning to cancel it.

Had my flippin Prank caller again last night - Miaowing and saying 'I've got your cat' and then pretending to make 'cat being hurt' noises. I know he's just a sad sack (I mean, how pointless can your life be if you can waste 15 mins on the phone like that to a stranger) but I annoyingly then lay awake all night thinking about it - Grrr.

But it's Friday tomorrow - hurrah!! DH has been for the whole week this week instead of 3 nights, and it's seemed really long.

WeeHaggis
24-04-2008, 11:40 PM
Some people really are sad old {fill in the blank}. Sorry 'bout that Rootie.

But you guys have a crop this weekend - so lots of fun to look forwards too. I'm taking DS to his first proper fencing competition (the one with swords rather than planks of wood) - fingers crossed he doesn't come last!!!!

Trixiebell
25-04-2008, 07:20 PM
flipping idiots they are really sad!!!

Hi there, it was great catching up with those of you at the crop, that was most of you, missed you Gaye and Helen.

I managed 2 LOs, was chuffed, and quite a bit of chatting too.
