Hi
Is anyone going to the Hobbycrafts show this weekend. I can't wait. I see the Graphtec will be there with a very large stand, it will be good to meet them and ask some questions. The company I bought my Robo from are also exhibiting there. But I think I will head straight to Graphtec stand on Saturday.

I'm trying to get over on Sunday too...

Just a small dilema of a half marathon in Stafford or Sport Relief 6Miles in COv... first...

The 6 miler is winning as it's closer to home and the NEC so more retail time!!! :o)

Going tomorrow, myself.

Look on www.ICHF.co.uk and find the drop down for Hobbycraft and the correct date. Press the date and the list will appear.

I've made my list and keep on saying that I have a plan of where I will be going, but knowing me I'll get in and be sooo existed seeing all the goodies I'll forget about my list.

Hobbyhorse craft

- 20 sheets of bazill for £8, or 40 sheets for £15 - you choose the ones you want - not bazill bling.

Clevecut/Clearaway Stamps

A5 sheets - I got ones with the months of the year and one with day of the week on for £5.49 each,

A4 chipboard shaped tags (for altering) 99p, A5 shaped tags 69p.

Chipboard word books (love, mum, woof, meow, dad) for £2.49 complete with rings.

Sounds like you had a great day... Can't wait to see what you do with the large tag, I loved decorating the sample one!!

Our Word books are a little more than that though, at £4.95 and £4.50 (didn't want any one to think we have put the price up during the show), but we do have cute tag books at £2.25. Sorry had to say as I would be mortified if someone thought we were doing a sly one and increasing the prices for the other days of the show.

very busy at nec yesterday , but a good day out . i got lots of bits n bobs

2 of the art bins for £15 instead of £11 each from storage 4 crafts

lots of great penny black stamps around but not at bargain prices

some corner rounders , a set of 3 for £6.50 from samuel taylor , on another stand they were £10.75 for exactly the same , check out samuel taylor for prices ,,,,pretty good i thought

a friend was after one of the papermania trollies and at a mag subscription stand it was the free gift so for the price she would have normally paid for the trolley alone , she has a mag coming through the door each month for a year and she got a goody bag and a box to fill with paper , and a mag as well ...she was chuffed to bits with that

take your own sarnies though the food is awful

Sorry for the confusion, still well worth the price, my confusion with the prices was because I also got the tag books as well.:nono::nono:

The Guy on the stand was very helpful and funny - but I did visit about 4 times and saw something different each time.

If I could affort the car parking and ticket price again I would return on Sunday - I'm sure I've missed out on somethings

Happy Shopping!!!

I went to the NEC yesterday. It was much quieter than usual so it was easy to walk around. I went to Art of the Heart stall but was disappointed that Dyan wasn't around as I was looking forward to seeing some of her demonstrations. I bought a few tag books on her stall and a few more stamps with Stamp Addicts as I love their stamps. Didn't spend anything else which is not like me. I normally spend a lot there. DH is very pleased.

Can anyone help me? I didn't get a program this time and I am trying to find the website of shop that sells all the beautiful coloured tissue paper, you know the shop who have the giant giraffe covered in the paper. As you went in they were almost in the far left corner. I almost got some there as I fall in love with it every time I see it, now I get home I wish I had got some as I had a box for Christmas that would be perfect to cover with it. Hope you can help, thanks
