Same here but I've got some money for my Birthday so I'm thinking about treating myself.... they are a lot of money but they seem to be worth it.
Mine came yesterday -- and my blending bits today. Taking a bit of getting used to, as they don't "wash" from the edges like my watercolour pencils did, but I love the richness of the colours. The Easter card I posted earlier on this thread is also my first attempt at using them -- no practise pieces done first !!
I needed some more colours to add to the set of 24 normal watercolour pencils I had, but to get the colours I wanted they were over a pound each -- so the cost per pencil of the Prismas is actually pretty good :)
(They were my treat to myself for getting back to work after 10.5 months off on sick leave! And as my first pay pack was considerably more than I'd have got on Incapacity Benefit I haven't really had to "find" the money either -- but would probably have struggled to find it in 3 months or so once I got used to having my salary back)

Oh these are gorgeous! I did get the email and really wanted to get them but am on a stash diet and also the fact that I have several magnolias sitting unopened (and several images still unused from the image swap) made me stop. I think pregnancy must be affecting my brain (and the fact we've had so much outlay recently with one thing and another!).
Loving all your cards girls - they are soooo bunny sweet  Wouldn't they make fab baby cards too!

No, I haven't yet. I've been so naughty and had about 30 stamps arrive in the last couple of weeks! I've got so many ideas buzzing around in my head but no time to do it :( I've got a Dora card that I must get done for Saturday as my two year old has a party. She's keeping me pretty busy in the day and the little monkeys not going to bed until 10 some nights :nono:

Yep! The bits I've had from Funky Kits have been the only stash parcels that DH hasn't raised his eyes at this year -- so he clearly doesn't realise what they are

Haven't had much chance to play until now, but have made my first card with the LCR stamps (which I *love* by the way - I think these are my favourites from SN so far). Not a great card, just a quick and simple one for my partner's Nan who recently came home from hospital.
Coloured this one with Copic markers, on SU Whisper White cardstock.

Foxy has arrived and I love him. Does anyone have any tips on shading? I've coloured him in but he looks very solid - so to speak.
Mrs Mac
15-08-2008, 10:29 AM
Emma I used my prismas and only added a little colour around the outside and then pulled it in. Its a case of less is better with colouring in the these.
