BEER, BOOTS and LEDERHOSEN, what else can a girl wish for.... :D
Made this card for my friend in Germany's husband. The joke with the title and the boots is only funny in German, I'm afraid. I absolutely melted when I received some prints of the Edwin in "lederhosen", how perfect was that for this card. I just HAD to add a tiny Edelweiss to his outfit. Made a German flag coloured border and used a photo from central Luneburg as PP. It has been altered in Photoshop.

Hi Lorraine,
George is a character you can download to print from a certain craft site but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say the name of the store on here. It is one of the UKS sponsors so I'm guessing I can. Maybe someone in the know will give me a shout.

great card chris, did you do the stitching or is it a paper?
Ah, thanks so much Karen. I'm afraid I can't take credit for the stitching, it's Doodlebug paper. I have been doing some faux stitching on some of my cards however just by piercing holes and then joining the holes with a pen which gives quite a good effect. Brilliant cards here by everyone and I love your George card , really cute! considering it's so hard to come up with a card for a man there are a lot of great ideas here.

Again it's for a teenage boy for his confirmation. His parents ordered this card to go with his gift - a camera. His name is Frederik - hence the capital F but in Danish photography starts with F too.
Paper is Bazzill cardstock and Tres Jolie patterned paper from My Minds Eye. Camera is QK - what else could it be =0)

In Denmark if you're NOT married by 30 you receive Pepper - not sure that is an international thing - but here it's a tradition. This is for a colleague of mine for his 30th b-day. Not sure it's visible but pepper fruits have been glazed with Diamond Glaze. Writing around the "peppar window" reads - Did you think we forgot???
and the other is for a friends son on his confirmation day.
Thanks for looking!

Hi
Thanks Nic! Yes it's all digi with clips from pccrafter - i've got probably too many of their sets.... I sometimes sit down to "create" and spend more time looking through what I've got for inspiration than actually creating anything!

I had a go at some spring cards after being inspired by stamping Caz's comission in C&P issue 52.I enjoyed making them and made this very masculine brother spring card for his 40th birthday. It's on my blog, here's the link

Lots of lovely cards, all! Those of you who have used the 'George' pack, do you print out these images onto paper and cut them out? Or what? Keen to know as I fancy the cat collection but want to be sure I'd know what to do with it LOL!

Lovin all the cards esp scrapjackie fathers day card - thought twice about putting mine on after I saw that. Have also done a Fathers Day card. I'm really hopeless at mens cards they're really not my thang. I've put it on my blog below.

Here is a wallet I made for my father in laws birthday, but it can be changed for any occasion i suppose. I printed some credit cards off the internet, and some money off a program i purchased off a well known auction site. It's really fun, because i put his face on the money, and changed it from bank of england, to bank of Towell. ( thats his surname ) If someone wants any info, feel free to pm me.

sorry have only just seen your comment Pink Chocolate- and thanks. The disc in the middle was from craftwork cards at the NEC ( I think) The bags got no name on and i've got a terrible memory.
More great cards on here!!

the sentiment and stamp are stamping up, the circle sentiment is by stamps away and the circles were cut using nestabilities, the dots are liquid pearls.
