February Week 3 Challenge by The Crafty Magpies

Feb Wk 3 Challenge.

The Crafty Magpies are a fairly new team and this is our first weekly challenge that we have put together - we have had a lot of fun putting it all together, and we hope you all enjoy the challenge :D

Before setting the challenge we did a little research into what we could link with our week in February with and this is the challenge we have come up with.

John Travolta was born on 18th February so we want you to use a sound track from either of the films Saturday Night Fever or Grease as the title of your LO for 10 points. We have added some links below for you.

Because February is the second calender month of the year we would like you to use two photograph's on your LO for 10 points.

Because we have Magpies in our team title we want you to add something shiney to your LO for 5 points.

Also the legend of the Snowdrop which appears in February is a symbol of 'hope', so we want you to use white in your LO for 5 points.

So to summarise:

Song title from sound track of Saturday Night Fever or Grease as LO title - 10pts
Two photos - 10pts
Something shiney - 5pts
To use white on LO - 5pts

Well, I'm not an authority on this, but I'd imagine as long as it's around about there...for example my actual title is 'He's got his boogie shoes on' but I just emphasised the 'boogie shoes' as that's the actual song title.

How much can we 'alter' one of the song title....have something specific in mind.

As that is the main part of the challenge, we would really like a song title in there, although as Samm says you could add a little bit more to it like she has with 'Boogie Shoes'.

I also added Sisters to my title, but still kept the main song title 'We Go Together' in the LO :)

Maybe give it some more thought - after all it is supposed to be a challenge :) :lol: :wacko:

I love the way we've all been given the same 'rules' for the challenge but there isn't a single one with anything in common (well, apart from the odd title here and there...)

I've put mine on my blog as I still haven't worked out how to resize them!! I need to do the journalling, any help appreciated.
