** February Card Challenge **

February being the month for Luuuuuuuurve this month's theme is "loves me, loves me not". :wub:

It's a dual challenge, so you can either:

:love: Create a Valentine's day card using non-traditional Valentine's colours

Or...

:love: Create a non-Valentine's day card using Valentine's day colours!

Or if you're feeling adventurous, do both! :D

If at the end of the month there have been 10 or more cards posted here in this thread, then one lucky person will be chosen as a 'winner' and will receive a little goodie through the post courtesy of Julie at Scrapbooking Castle (http://scrapbookingcastle.co.uk/store/).

So get your thinking caps on and go create! :D

Wow Tree thats fab. I had a paly today and cut the silhouette on Robbie after auto tracing it from a cd of silhouettes. I liked the card as I was doing it and now its done I'm really not so sure. The papers are from a participation prize kit Annies Cottage by Raspberry Road Designs and I just added a peeloff sentiment 'cherish' I dont actually do Valentines so hopefully it will work ok as an anniversary card in the future. TFL

Here is mine. I made it for my DH from our DD for valentines day.

It is my first attempt at colouring using pastel pencils and sansador - I hope I get better with practice! :blink:

Here is a non-traditional valentine card which my sister has pinched.

Claire, it's not a stamp. It's an image that I have from PCCrafter. Some of their older graphic sets come with them in black as well as colour. So I have 100's if not 1000's of images at my fingertips now that I've discovered that pastel pencils and sansador work with inkjet ink!

Can you spot my mistake - I will be changing it, only noticed after I had uploaded it and resized it.

Not for the challenge but I thought I would show you these I did in Feb :)

I got the flower one as a template then altered it and filled with hearts:wub:

I altered the template by adding a stand at the back.

The flowers and hearts are a small seperate small card shaped like a pot.

The original card I did was from pink petticoat thank you:)
