I gave up with the boxed letters it was doing my head in trying to work out which lines to cut and not, as its my husbands birthday in the morning thought i would go for the easier option, hope you like it

It's my oldest daughter Nicola's birthday this coming Sunday....I've made her a name card in Illustrator just in case she celebrates wild style and can't remember who she is on Monday morning!

Anyone wanting to use this template is welcome to do so and please feel free to resize or adjust it in any way.

I cut it on the Pro so sadly I can't advise what settings will be required on the baby Robo. Also included in the file is the Happy Birthday wording with mat which was created in the font 'Keep on Truckin'.

The floral embellishment was made using layers from the Ellison Daisy Die and finished with a pearlised star.

First template. I just hope that Emily who will be 3 on Monday and her parents like the card.

Thanks to Shirley Anne for the inspiration.

Had problems uploading the picture will add later.

It is a steep learning curve that I am on:rolleyes:

Hooray managed it but had to place a sheet of paper behind the fromt so that the shape would show up.

Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks

This "blokey" card was done in DM for my nephew. I was at a loss what to do for him as I am not aware of any particular interests he has so I've kept it very simple!! I don't know if it will be of any use to anyone but I have uploaded the GRA. template

Is this any good to you? It is quite plain but you can make it suitable for a young child with your choice of papers and embellishments.
I have not cut it but it looks ok. It will make a 5 inch square card

Here is the .GRA file for the beaded lattice flower bag I made for granddaughter Zoe. I am still attempting to convert this file to a GSD file, but am having problems with it - I shall persevere and add the file when I get it right. I have left the "Zoe" part in just in case anyone has any use for it!

Lynne (Lindyloulou) has now very kindly made a conversion to GSD and added the file. Many thanks to Lynne for all her help!

This one was done for a friend to give to her Niece next week. It may be of use to someone.

When folded in half it should come very close to an A5 Card - as we all know measurements cannot be exact :P

Font - FontleroyBrown (again )

Wasn't sure what to call this :lol: but hope it may come in useful for some.

I did it for a friends daughter who's birthday is coming up next week, thought it was a little different, if not a little odd to some.

Hi all, After watching Pride of Britain on Wednesday evening, I was taken with the young lad (Jake Peach) who had Leukemia and made a video diary to help other children going through the same thing. Little did he know, that he would slip into a coma and when he awoke was paraplegic and had to learn everything again from scratch. The video is so heartwrenching, and he goes on to raise a great deal of money for Gt Ormond Street Hospital.

His selflessness in such diversity touched me greatly, and I sent him a card, to tell him how much he had touched me, and what a special person he is.

I also sent a card to his family and friends, who no doubt without, he would not have coped quite so well. We must always care for the carers too!

I attach the card I spent to the little star Jake.
