I understand that wet embossing is when you use inks and embossing powder and then a heat gun??

Dry embossing (like on mine, see above) is when you use an embossing tool - like the embossing folder for the cuttlebug. I might be wrong.

Yep that's embossing as we see it. With dry embossing you can also use a ball tool and do it freehand or with a template, even parchment craft would count if people wanted to include that in their layout.

Thanks for joining in our challenge. I'm off to look at the layouts now :)

My attempt at the team challenge is here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=144801&limit=recent). The title is heat embossed and is really shiny IRL, and very tactile. I realised I hadn't done this week's challenge and so thought that this one would be really quick. It's taken me nearly 5 hours! I really must get some presents wrapped!

Thanks for a great challenge and have a happy Christmas everyone.

Here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=144866&cat=6052) is my attempt at this week's challenge.

It is called Celebrating the life of Clause. My 11 year old Shih tzu died suddenly yesterday. He was a christmas present, hence his name:santa clause. He arrived at christmas and left me at christmas, blub

I had to do this LO so quick to help me heal, it worked for a few hours but i have cried ever since, blub blub blub.

Sorry to lower the christmas spirit.
