My Art Journals

I'm new to this site. It's quite different then what I am use too.
I enjoy making art journals of all sizes. Sometimes I create 8 x 8 journals with blank pages in them. I decorate the front and back covers to go with whatever theme I wish the journals to hold. My favorite themes are, altered photography, which is photo's taken by you alter the images by hand and computer and add collage pages for the photo's to go on.
My other favorite is enchanted themes. This can range from cultural beliefs to mystical and magickal. And I love to embellish in my art journals.

Then there's the 6 x 6 hand made journals you put the whole thing together from the covers to the pages used and all the decorating. These I leave blank pages in to add things on later. I like giving these as gifts.

My favorite are the mini journals playing card size.

The thing is I use my art journals for everything. From themes to poetry. I like the idea of making my own planners too. There's so much you can do with making your own journals.

Just started an A-Z art journal...on scrapbooking and how its changed my life!! hehe
So have been checking out the threads!!!
Not much action in the Art JOURNAL section most postings are a couple of year old....?
