Just made this one up for my daughters birthday, Of course you don't have to have the square cut out at all and could in fact substitute the square for any shape.
Thought I had better mention that the shoe is a decoupage, (don't know if I spelled it right) and is designed by Jean.

It is very easy to do after folding the first one.
I will add a picture of my finished first card but the decoupage is not my own design.
It will work best on about 160gram card I think as the card I used was a bit too thick and started to pull away at one of the edges.

Here's one of my projects that appeared in Making Cards.
It is a basic shape so that those without a CR can cut it by hand however it is very effective.
Suitable for many occassions and the photo shows Easter decoration.
Hope the template comes in handy.

I saw a similar card on "Create and Craft" and decided to try a version for the CR. The main card uses a sheet of A4. I have also attached a second sheet to provide the inner mat and the stripes on the front. The original A4 card can obviously be decorated in many ways.
Make sure you check that the red lines in Tools/Cutting settings/Cutting settings are set to Dashed Line.
I also switched off Track Enhancing, to save the rollers marking the card. (Track enhancing refers to the action of moving the media back and forth several times before cutting is started to stabilise the quality of the cutting and is on the final screen before cutting takes place). The pictures show the unfolded A4 sheet, the folded card as it will come out of the envelope and the completed card.
The boy and girl on the swings come from a GSD I purchased from Paperthreads.

Ihave been trying so make cards that are a bit different and came up with this one, hope you like it.
Personal use only please.
Sorry forgot to say that the crease of the card is at an angle so use the point at the top as your centre !

I hope this card may be of use to some of you. It is my own take on the original spring card, and I designed it a couple of years ago and have now adapted it to cut on the CR. I have cut it, and it cuts fine in medium weight card. The extra crease in it gives it more stability and makes it sit up more. I have included a screen shot of the folds - my tip is to fold the three which make the diamond shape first and get good creases with a bone folder, then go from there. Anyway, I hope someone enjoys it.
Andi
Forgot to say, there are a couple of mats included - the cutting lines for them are unchecked at the moment but they look good cut in co-ordinating card/paper. Have also included a screenshot of the back of the card which might make the folds clearer
I did remove these when things were uncertain regarding files being taken, but am happy to reupload now that access is more controlled.. even though I haven't yet been granted access myself<_< I hope these are right.. only I can't see them, lol.... and then as if by magic when I finished uploading and went back to my post I could see everything - thanks MaryAnne, you are doing a superb job!!
Can I just add that, following requests and questions from some who have downloaded this, the Poinsettia decoupage is not mine and I cannot share it. Sadly, I forgot my manners and omitted to credit the designer originally, my apologies to her. It was made by a wonderful lady called Nikky, who has a group that I am privileged to belong to. She makes decoupage sheets. My template works well with other decoupage - candle ones are good because they tend to be tall and thin.

http://www.12mind.com/~gidzes/templates/Shadowbkaart/shbxmasch.gifThe used stamp in this card is from RubberStampAvenue stamps and the messurements of this card (the oval window) is based on the messurements of the used stamp 1260 L.
The schadow of this box is 2cm so this card can stand by itself if put together correctly.
See the link on the template.
For personal use only. Do not sell!

Okay - here it is.
After, an entire day of trying to work this file out, I am going to post it.
I really had a hard time lining up the back layers. I finally ended up hand
trimming them.
Right now, I love this card and have so many people that want it - but.......
as of this moment, I never want to see it again.
I hope you pros have felt like that at times.
Maybe an expert may want to play with the back layers and get them right.
Or, maybe someone would like to tell me the easiest way to get it straight-
that is if I can manage to look at it again.
My brain just can't function in backwards mode - so trying to turn those
layers around to match the folded card was difficult.
They don't seem to be too much off.
Anyway, I think the card part is okay. I designed it in different colors so
the different images could be cut in different colors. (I know you pros
know that but maybe a newbie doesn't.)
I think I'm suppose to post the file and picture with this thread. If not, I'm
sorry. I'm still trying to put things in the right place.

Ok everyone, reinstalled the original software and had to do the foldback card from scratch. Let me know if it cuts alright, I've tested it and it cuts fine.
If it works then I hope to share some more templates.

This is a little card for sending small gift vouchers or similar. The file is just the basic design - how you decorate is up to your own imagination.
The squiffy prospective in the photo is down to my dodgy photography!!!!!

Hope this answers a recent request for this type of card.
Mary
PS I have mirrored the front of the card and uploaded an altered file. The original file needed to be mirrored for use with patterned card.
looks great..but then what do i do...lol
Try something like this:lol:
Mary
I have added an (undecorated) inside view of the card.
