Heart Lattice card.
I think the landscape one needs to come a bit further down but I think a greeting or verse could be put on the insert by the heart - feel free to change it further down if need be. looking forward to seeing some cards made with these
best regards

Are you all getting sick of these yet?

Theres a diamond on its own,

a diamond with smaller scallops

and larger scallops with either 1 cut or 2

Now, theres a debate going on - is the lattice too small on this one? - I am not sure - what do you think? let me know and hubby will do a larger trellis.

you will need to snip the end of the card on this one - two cuts and a set of horseshoes to do in lace /glitter paper? - a nice verse on the top right hand courner would look nice on this card I think.
Happy Easter everyone

two plain bells on a lattice background, also two lattice bells, one lattice bell and a plain bell.

on seeing this one cut out, I think that if you got rid of the background lattice pattern on the card itself you could put some nice paper there instead.
I curvered the bells and will up-load a proper piccy in my folder tomorrow (sorry, lost got in the way...)

have also done single and double hearts too - do them tommorrow....

three variations -

no1 - square card over a full side panel

no2 - square cut-out middle with two of the previous scalloped hearts entwined and tied with ribbon - thinking about this - please put two small slits on the middle panel the size of your ribbon, that way you can cover the ribbon up with your pretty insert :-)

no3 - square panel again but with oppisite side cut out.

done heart as well , will upload tomorrow....
best regards to all

As requested by Madhattermillie

ones more robust, one a bit more fancy which is a bit tricky but try and see what you think is best for you - also insert to match.

A sunny good morning to all!

hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine while it lasts... :-)

Was having a play with this design of hubbys last night and came up with these - from the basic one , I ended up with five!
I,ve included the insert again so you dont have to go hunting for it - also they are all one cut , so those with Pro,s hopefully will not have any trouble.

I hope you all enjoy my Octogons and have a great time making cards with them.
take care

I've already uploaded all my files but I stuck them all in one thread and poor Lucille couldn't move them so I'm uploading them separately as it won't let me attach them to their original posts in the temporary forum.

Still playing around with lattice in Design Master and came up with this. Just weld whatever you want in the centre space. The screenshot shows my sons name but the template is minus the initials ready for your own needs.

Again using the same motif as in the strips and edged cards I have made these aperture cards.

I used a Herma transfer adhesive on the backing sheets and smothered it in Glamour Dust to sparkle them up.

Also there is a file for mats which are not photographed but are the same pattern

Argh the files don't match the headings. These are the flower set

Did I see someone issue a 15 min challenge?

This card was cut and assembled within the time to qualify as a 15 min card. I used doublesided sticky sheet to stick the liner to the front inside of the card and covered with Glamour Dust. I added a bit of gold peel-off stringing and a greeting, stuck on some pre-cut embellishments - I always have these to hand as stock items - and voila a quick card is done.

The leaves I used for the embellishment are in the 2nd file. I always find it handy to cut these sort of things in a couple of shades of colour so that I always some to hand.

Just a basic lattice card to add to the growing collection on here. The butterflies were cut from a pearl card so did not photograph too well.

I thought I would share these for use with the cuttlebug folders - or not.

3 have not been tested but should cut fine.

Here is my effort. Designed in DM and I have included a GSD version. The card in the picture is unadorned and cut from the DM version.

Found a great font called GRIDS N THINGS (dafont) with lots of lattice designs.

Turned a flower one into a card and bookmark just to see how well it worked - it actually cut loads better than it looked on screen.

Please remember to check out the T&C of any font you wish to use. These are normally available as a text page when you download the font.

Well I have finally dragged myself away from swirls, long enough to learn how to do lattice.

The triptych card shape was downloaded from Mirkwood designs. I used Inkscape to make the lattice which I saved as a template, so I can use it for all lattice work from now on, well worth the time doing. I saved the finished card as DXF opened and converted to GSD in RM and cuts fine. I really love this program now and I'm not sure I want to go back to Illustrator even with a plug-in and that's the truth :P

Thank you Joyce (aka2magpies) for seeing me through the trials and tribulations of having to do it "MY WAY":lol: and to Susibi for providing the tutorial that got me started in the first place.

This was a dream to design and cut.
Adorned with beautiful lattice once again and has elements from the Geisha Girl to the Lotus Flower. Only some of the pages are shown below.
Has many elements for you to layer if you so wish........... Once cut and assembled you have a stunning card to give to that Special Person.
Comes as a 9 template zip, All you need is the card and some ribbon to tie.

You can find it here (http://forevermemoriesforyou.co.uk/Shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_55&products_id=424)

Thank You Once Again for Looking

A latticed front window that opens, With Swags and Tails to each Side.

I have cut a peice of acetate to place behind the window and embossed it with cuttlebug embossing folder stylized flowers, then added some flowers to the front as if they are on the windowsil.
I have cut from 180gsm perfumed card.
Cuts to a full A5 size card
