Hi,
Just seen the post about the inserts on C & C. I did this a couple of weeks ago when I first saw them.
It's not been cut on Robo, but has been cut on KNK, so should be fine.
Enjoy

Another template for the people who have Designmaster.
This card was not such a pain to translate to a GSD so here it is for those who cannot use my DM version. The picture of the card has been cut from my DM version.

fold on the dotted line and curve the front of the card round then tuck the tab into the slit. you should get a 3d effect.

Hi all,
We are all still waiting for the little ones arrival. I have decided it will probably happen on Sunday morning, when all the roads round us will be closed due to the marathon. Getting to the hospital would prove to be a bit of a challenge.
Had a bit of spare time today, so I thought I may as well have a play. I don't have a Robo here so can't test cut anything. If anyone is willing to cut the template and add a photo, I'd be grateful.
They're nothing fancy, but if Q** can sell them, they must be worth something.

We've just been discussing similar cards in Chat, as seen by MaryAnne on You Tube. I originally made this some time last year but am uploading a smaller version in case anyone wants to have a go. Sugar n Spice also has a circular/oval version.
The diamond is made of cut and fold segments and when the card is opened and closed it should spin/rotate around. The art is in folding and "training" it correctly, and I've not yet quite 100% got the knack. My original, larger, version (on the right) flatly refused to work at all!
The original template was based on a Japanese(?) image - source unknown.
